Very easy for me. Paul estimated it would be about 5,6 hours. It turns out to be a two day job since one thing just goes to another. Paul ended up running to homedepot a couple of times to get additional material. I felt so guilty because the labor cost he asked already on the lower end (I quoted several through Yelp) so I offered to pay more at a fair price. Even my pickiest neighbor called me and suggested me to offer more. But Paul declined saying that this happens often because you never know what's hide under before you tear up the old one. Some jobs take longer some jobs take shorter time. He installed my door and the frames around, painted the door two sides, the frame and the surrounding wall and installed locks and peephole for me. When he finally finished, it is already dark outside. I had to offer more, correct? Very valuable and impressive, thank you Paul.

Extremely unprofessional and abusive experience…read more I created a project through Yelp, and Yelp automatically sent my request to various businesses. I was contacted by someone named Elmar. The call came from a number showing on my caller ID as 408-396-8070. Instead of simply discussing the project, he immediately became hostile and started swearing at me, including saying "F*** this" and "F*** you," before abruptly hanging up. I was completely caught off guard. I had simply submitted a project request through Yelp and had not done anything to warrant this kind of treatment. This was an absolutely unacceptable and highly unprofessional way to treat a potential customer. I will also be filing a complaint with Yelp regarding this interaction so they are aware of how a business responding to Yelp project requests is treating potential customers. **UPDATE: I am providing screenshots to document what actually happened.** In his response to my review, Elmar claims that my account of him calling me and using profanity is "completely false" and that "nothing like this ever happened." That is not true. I am uploading two screenshots that document the sequence of events: 1. **At 3:10 PM**, Elmar responded to my Yelp Project request stating, **"I don't provide that service."** 2. **At 3:12 PM**, just two minutes later, my call history shows that I received a call from **408-396-8070**, which is the business phone number listed on this Yelp business profile. During that 3:12 PM call, Elmar was extremely hostile and directed profanity and abusive language toward me, including **"F*** this" and "F*** you,"** before hanging up. The timing is particularly significant. If Elmar had already responded to my Yelp request at 3:10 PM stating that he did not provide the service, there would have been no apparent reason for him to call me two minutes later unless he wanted to discuss something further. That call did in fact occur, as my call history confirms. Elmar now claims that the call and abusive behavior never happened. The screenshots provide contemporaneous documentation of the Yelp response immediately before the call and the subsequent call from the business number. I am providing this documentation because Elmar chose to publicly accuse me of making false accusations and acting in bad faith. I believe potential customers should have the opportunity to see the documented timeline and make their own judgment. I have also reported this matter to Yelp and will provide Yelp with the same documentation.

He also handled the electrical work and coordinated the delivery + installation of our new oven the next day, even testing all five induction burners to ensure everything was perfect. After a string of disappointing experiences with two previous contractors--and speaking with over 20 others--we were understandably hesitant to move forward with anyone new. Hiring Kenny was a turning point. Not only did he restore our confidence, but he also exceeded every expectation. It's no fun fixing another contractor's mistakes, but Kenny tackled the job with patience, professionalism, and an unwavering commitment to getting things right. He was always kind, mindful, and empathetic toward our past frustrations.
