Bathroom tiles
Teresa K.

Just ordered Tiles for the bathroom and got them installed. Originally I had put in an order at Home Depot, and was given a one week lead time. Then they called and said the the products were not available at all. We searched for local Tile store and went to check out Fremont Tiles and Carpet. The manager was really knowledgeable and gave great suggestions of products, how much to order and what backplash to pair with. The tiles arrived within a week, were beautiful and good quality. We're very happy with our purchase.

Habib and colleagues were wonderful to work with from start to finish. We were expertly advised and offered items that were beautiful and within our budget. Between the vinyl throughout and bathroom tile, our home has been transformed and we could not be happier. We will never go back to Home Depot for flooring or tile ever again! Thank you, FTC!

Very difficult to communicate with. Unwilling to help or make cost estimates for the job. Unwilling to talk pricing : project details.

We were ignored. No one greeted us, said hello, we'll be right with you...nothing....not even a goodbye, come again....as we left.

I was totally ignored in the store. Apparently chattering with more valuable customers. Not a sell. I'd never return.

Sunol-Midtown, Downtown

When it was time to replace our laminate floors and the carpeting on our stairs, hallway, and…read morebedrooms, we compared options at Home Depot and several local carpet stores. A measuring technician came out, took all the dimensions, and directed us to the 1020 W. San Carlos location to review their full carpet selection. At the store, we explained what we were looking for, compared carpet features and pricing, and worked with Dominic--who was very accommodating. His total project cost was competitive with the other quotes we received. We also wanted new baseboards that would match our freshly painted walls and trim. Dominic arranged to have the primed (but unpainted) 16' wood baseboards delivered ahead of installation, giving us time to paint everything before the carpet went in. Tip Our new carpet and pad are very soft and plush--great underfoot, especially on the stairs. Because the new flooring sits higher than the original laminate, our bedroom doors needed to be trimmed by about half an inch. We cut the doors ourselves, but it's worth asking whether your installer can include that as part of the project. Pros * Dominic is a true carpeting professional--he anticipated our needs and offered thoughtful guidance throughout the process. * Both the wood and carpet installation teams did solid, quality work. Cons * Some door trim was scuffed as the installers maneuvered large carpet rolls through our narrow hallway and doorways, so a bit of repainting was needed afterward.

I started…read morediscussing my vision with John, and we came-up with a plan to match stairs and risers for a simple and clean look. For the upstairs floors, I picked flooring that doesn't have any gaps between the planks. The stairs turned out to be a bigger challenge than expected, due to the fact that nothing in my home is straight. However, the artist otherwise known as "Luis" worked through these challenges and led the project to a spectacular outcome. In fact, these stairs are so beautiful, my father (while visiting from Germany) claimed it would be impossible to find a master carpenter in Germany, who could do a better job. Overall, I will remember Signature Carpet One for their dedication to quality craftsmanship at reasonable cost.

I can't say enough about Brian and Jesus who did the actual installation. They did an amazing job and got everything done in one day. The carpet and entry floor looks beautiful and we really appreciate them moving some of the larger items we needed help with. We will definitely be recommending Signature Carpet to anyone who needs new carpets or floors.

Her cabinets had what I would describe as a subtle pink hue to them and therefore it was very difficult to find flooring that both contrasted and toned down the subtle pink hue. After 3 trips to and from the store I had found the winner. I was a little dissapointed that the install date was about a month out but at the same time the need for expeediency was mine, and not their fault. That said the two sales people I interacted with were the absolute best. I could not have asked for better help. The install guy, Oscar, was fantastic with communication. He was able to handle add ons with ease and called to verify specifics during the install, rather than just assume like some companies do. He called me and asked me directly, and I sincerely appreciate that. Not only that, but the two last minute necessary add ons did not raise the bill substantially like it might at some other places. Their prices were fair and I feel like I got a good deal, especially given what I percieve to be the high quality of both the product and the installation. I would absolutely use them again for future projects!

If you are considering vinyl plank flooring for your home, don't do it!…read moreWe purchased it from a flooring company, Carpet One, here in San Ramon. THEY DO NOT BACK THEIR PRODUCT. We had them install vinyl plank flooring back in 2020 with a limited lifetime warranty. The flooring is scratched and faded and the manufacturer representative has not stood up for the warranty. We attempted to get the issue rectified but emails went nowhere and no one has called us. In fact, the sales people don't even recommend the product sold to us because they said after time the joints between planks buckle. Here is another flooring contractor advertising to sell vinyl flooring. Please, PLEASE, don't believe the hype. It WILL scratch and fade over time. I've left out the name to protect the contractor: Hey Twin Creeks South, I wanna share a little story about my neighbor! "My neighbor, a retired contractor, showed me a newly developed vinyl floor that looks like wood but is way more affordable and totally waterproof! My downstairs floors (apart from the observatory which is new) were in a sorry state. Faded, stained, and even rotting in a couple of places. He was over one day and asked me why not replace it with luxury vinyl. 'It'll be the last floor you'll ever need'. I'd never even heard of it! He told me it: - Is stain, scratch and dent-resistant - Won't fade or rot like wood - Come with a lifetime guarantee My floor was installed in 2 days (they moved the furniture for free, tore out the old planks, installed the new floor, and cleaned up everything!), and it looks incredible. Couldn't recommend it more!" 37.70515, -121.92194 CA
