I recently got my floors from Floor Gallery, and I highly recommend them. Jimmy was a pleasure to work with and the main reason I chose Floor Gallery. He is extremely knowledgeable and has immense patience to explain the entire process. There are very few salesmen who are not pushy and genuinely think about the customer--Jimmy is one of them. Instead of encouraging impulsive decisions, he always reminded us that these are significant investments and we should take our time. The baseboard was installed not painted it looks ugly some areas are messed up . I had just put new baseboards in the living room and they just threw them away. John was very professional and extremely kind and patient when it came to our flooring. He understood what we wanted and what concerns we had. Pricing was great and very competitive. Our carpet upstairs and down stairs looks amazing! However I knocked off a star because I feel the workers rushed through our vinyl flooring (it being a Saturday) and we found some corrections that needed to be done. Told john and he was very attentive to our concerns. His installers were not. They said it's not their fault our floors were uneven. And when we notice a lift in the wood, they said there's nothing wrong with it. I feel they seemed annoyed that we wanted them to come back to fix things we found afterwards. So disappointed in that. If you hire them be sure to pay attention to the details like every knack and corners and understairs etc. Overall we are satisfied with our flooring. They installed my floor . I like the floor but not the baseboard because it was not finished. It was primed and does not look good. I had nice new baseboards before painted less than 3 months old . Don't let them put unpainted baseboards it's to hard to paint them.you have to pull them off and then paint. I'm not happy. I'm a senior citizen and can't do this myself. This place is great. I had a small job to complete to reface a brick fireplace with some faux/stone. The selection here is fantastic with elegant pieces of all shapes and sizes. It is far better than a big box store or you can really find unique tile and marble materials and make the job turn out special. I was impressed how much they were trying to save me money, arrange for shipping along with other orders to get the materials in on time. Three tiles cracked on the shipment which is was of no consequence to me because I had a lot of cut pieces too fit around the mantle., However, they had me replacements in just a couple of days even without me asking.. All that is overrated or false information. She is just a great smooth talker. I would suggest not working with her at all. But in case, you decide to go with her, here's what you should watch out for: 1) Get a written contract. This may save you from overpromise and under delivery. 2) Never pay until work is completed. Always hold significant amount of money back until work is complete. I recently had my bathroom renovated and The Floor Gallery did a great job. I knew what I wanted: Porcelain tile for the floor and also matching tile for inside the shower. They recommended adding a backsplash of mosaic tile and it came out great! This review has been long over do. We purchased carpet for my parents house and at first working with Elei was a positive experience until the carpet started to fold up. The installation was done poorly and started to fold up after a year in multiple areas of the house (see pictures Of one of the examples). My dad tried to call her multiple times and every time she was too busy to fix the issue. Months went by since we contacted her and I decided to visit the store. Elei wasn't there and I gave the sales associate my business card for her to call me when she returns. As I assumed I never received a call back. Customer service has been terrible. Buyer be aware of their poor customer service. This could of been a very easy fix but the lack of communication and willing to help their customer left a bad taste with this establishment. read more

The two stars are for the floor not for the service. The following is my horrible experience with the sales there. The measurement the store provided was way off. If you ask them to measure your work, you are looking at 20% of extra material if not more. And keep in mind they charge 65% restocking fee for return. I paid in full two weeks before delivery. But only part of the order arrived on time. The rest was late for more than ONE MONTH. There was no notice in advance about the partial late delivery. And they didn't know how late the delivery would come until I waited for a good 4 weeks. It was hard to reschedule my contractor because of this. They "forced" me to pay a lot for the delivery and when the late order was available, I was asked to pick up the order myself.... Come on... Worse service ever! After a month of delay, they even delivered the wrong thing! And when I found out and called them, I was blamed that I didn't have my contractor on site to check everything for them... The floor gallery doesn't have any responsibility for checking their orders? Over all very disappointed with the service there. After talking to friends with floor experiences, I feel I was treated with dishonest and disrespect at the Floor Gallery. And also found out later that the floor I got from there can be purchased with much lower price in a different store just in Fremont. Be extra cautious if you walk in that store. read more

They have a wide variety of carpets in their showroom like Mohawk and Shaw along with other well known brands. They helped me choose carpet which suited decor of my home and it turned out just GREAT. FRAUD ALERT...!!! If i could, I would give this business -ve rating. We ordered kitchen remodeling material from here. Eli was good to us when ordering. And after that she started lying. she lied about delivery dates. and that messed up our schedule with contractors. She lied about what we ordered. We ordered a 36" counter top.She gave us 42" and said that's what you ordered. We had to pay extra to contractor to make it 36". The flooring was delivered out side the house on the road near curb. Nothing was communicated to us before. For picking material they kept telling us, it's San Jose. turns out cabinets were in San Jose but countertops were in Hayward. These are bunch of liars. What ever complain you do to Eli, she replies with "My dear that's how the delivery is done for flooring", "My dear these countertops only come in 42" " , " I didn't say that delivery date My dear". read more
