The crew installed the hardwood in summer 2023 and shortly afterwards much of it shrunk and developed creaking. After a lot of back and forth with Amir and the manufacturer, Renaissance replaced the problem areas. My wife and I appreciated Amir's professionalism and integrity. We are very happy with the finished product. These next comments don't relate to Tony's Floors... but you might find them helpful. We were not prepared for the smell. In retrospect, I wish we had booked a hotel room for about four nights. The house was a mess with sawdust everywhere. Orlando did a good job of taping up plastic and wrapping chandeliers and lights, but over time, some of that tape gave away and opened up. Then the smell of the stain and polyurethane is overwhelming. We stayed in our room, put towels under the door and opened with windows... but not pleasant. Then be prepared, you cannot walk on floors for several days. We were able to build a bridge using a ladder and a 2 x 12 board, but we got lucky. So prepare ahead of time, take everything you will need and book a hotel room. Finally, be ready to clean even after Orlando and crew complete their clean. They did a good job, but no way to easily remove the dust in every area. It's the reality. At the end, our floors look great and it was worth it, but it's not a simple, easy project.
