My husband and I are 100% satisfied with HG Flooring. Here is why: 1. Responsiveness - They came out quickly to do the estimate. They answered all texts and emails in a timely manner. 2. Patience - They answered all questions and explained the process to us. They were in no rush to finish the job. Their concern was doing it well. 3. Professional - This company showed up on time every day. They all appeared to enjoy their job as they smiled, laughed.....and I could hear them downstairs happily singing and enjoying each other's company. The employees were kind and explained every step to us. 4. Timeliness - Never late. In fact, they were always a little early. 5. Affordable - This is NOT a cheap process. Keep in mind that there is a lot of labor involved in refinishing a floor. It takes a hours to complete. And when you have the caliber of employees that they have, you've got to pay them well to keep them. And these guys are worth keeping. So no, it is not a cheap job. But I feel like I got more than my money's worth. I could go on and on about how much I recommend this company. Two of my neighbors inquired about their work. I told them I will let them check it out, so hopefully they will get even more business in my area. They deserve it. read more

Henry and team installed hardwood floors in our living room, dining room, family room, and the stairs. Not only was HG flooring a great price, but their team did an excellent job with installation. We also had them repair/replace a section in our kitchen that had some water damage, and you cannot even see where they installed the new flooring. Everyone on the team was courteous, and highly skilled. I cannot say enough good things to say about them. I will certainly use them again for any future jobs. read more

Great company to work with: Professional, super responsive communication, detail-oriented, fast, and finally, patient with all my questions and concerns. I've never had floors installed before and was very nervous. Top reasons I went with HG: 1) When the owner came by to do an estimate, he was more detail-oriented than everybody else and asked me questions nobody else did. You could tell he knew flooring and talked me through the choices. 2) Their cost is very competitive. Enough so that I would like to have them work on another set of stairs and another floor in the house at a later date. 3) They are fast! Approx 550 square feet took one day: 12 hours. The job was originally scheduled for 2 days. What a surprise when it was done in one! I recommend this company and love my floors a dns stairs! read more

HG Flooring did an amazing job refinishing the floors of my 1912 row house and matching them to the new wood floors In the adjoining room. Not an easy task and after a few tests and two tries his team accomplished what seemed might be impossible. Owner, Henry was a pleasure to work with from start to finish, beginning with his communication (he always picks up the phone) and was ready and patient to answer any and all questions along the way. I have worked with several contractors and it seems that communication is lacking more often than not. Not with this company. While a job this big can be stressful under the best of circumstances, Henry's attentiveness and patience throughout made a big difference. Also his prices are more competitive than most so why would I go anywhere else?? Thank you, HG Flooring, the floors are beautiful. read more

I'd add a 6th star if I could. Henry and his team completed a complicated project in our basement (half carpet, half LVP) with care and a close eye for detail. Henry was responsive to our questions from the start of the project to its completion, and the work was done exactly as he'd promised, exactly on time, and exactly on-budget. Highly recommend him. read more

We hired HG flooring to replace all the floors in our home. Hardwood in the main level and upper floor, vinyl planks in the basement. It was a pleasure to have them in my home. They did an amazing job and did not stop till I was completely satisfied. Henry was very responsive and always easy to contact for questions or other issues. I would highly recommend them. read more

Henry and staff at HG Flooring were great. They recommended a store to get great prices on flooring, and gave me a great price to replace the flooring on my main floor and replaced the carpet on my stairs which were damaged by a previous tenant. They were booked out for the rest of the year, but i informed Henry that i needed it complete by January 1st for a potential new tenant. He worked on Christmas day and new years eve to make it work for me. Great company with great staff. I highly recommend this company! read more

I rarely write reviews but my overall experience with H G Flooring was so good that I decided to write a review. I recently hired H G Flooring to install new flooring in a few rooms and do some carpet stretching. I found their prices to be competitive, their work was great and their customer service was awesome. The work was completed with top quality, with good attention to detail and they thoroughly cleaned the place before they left. Over the years I have worked with many home improvement contractors and I have rarely found contractors who could deliver on all aspects. Henry (the owner) was very responsive and accommodative of my needs. Their staff was very courteous and competent. I would definitely recommend H G Flooring for any flooring-related work. read more

In the past several years, I can confidently say that I have not hired a contractor as friendly, professional, customer-service oriented, or committed to quality work as Henry's team at HG Flooring. Henry was quick to respond to my request for a quote and came over himself for his assessment. We stayed in touch during the planning process and while I ultimately decided to purchase the floors on my own, he would provide the baseboards. When the day of install came, his team arrived on-time and ready to go! They were diligent in their work, friendly, and didn't mind the questions I asked throughout the morning. Everything was smooth sailing until one of his contractors informed me that the boxes of flooring that I had ordered were damaged, and they wouldn't be able to continue. (This was on the delivery company - not HG Flooring). Henry called me immediately and we decided that he would meet me at Home Depot on his way back from a site visit, in hopes that there would be in-stock floors I would like. Fortunately there were, and his team met us there to load up the new floors and get back to work. The install was seamless from there. I requested no quarter-round and they were able to install the baseboards in such a way that there was minimal gapping! Talk about a great job. I am VERY picky when it comes to contractors and work in my home. Henry and his team absolutely nailed the job and for a reasonable price. If you ever need floors done, reach out to his company - you will not be disappointed! I will also add that they specialize in floors - so they do it well. read more

Outstanding workmanship and attention to detail. Henry has done a beautiful job in my condo installing 1655 sq ft of engineered hardwood in the dark coffee color. It looks absolutely beautiful, and it's the first thing people compliment when they walk in. They also do excellent work painting and drywall. Henry is dependable, and he arrives as scheduled. They clean up after the work is completed, and never leave a mess. I am very picky but I can't say enough positive things about this guy, his helpers, and his work! He is fantastic!!!! read more
