As we were visiting in July, I got tickets to do the mountain coaster and it was great. Getting there was easy and there are large signs along the way to help guide you there easily. Once arrived at the huge parking lot, we locked the car and went to the ticket office where the super friendly young lady checked us in and let us know where to go. The coaster is clearly marked and when we got there, the line was very small. We had a timed ticket so we had unlimited rides for two hours. We rode the coaster a total of three times (took just over 30 minutes total) and that was plenty. It was a lot of fun and it's a thrill going through the trees so quickly...even the ride up is fun and scenic. There are a lot of staff helping on-board and off-board riders and they were all very friendly and helpful. The ride is safe for all ages and we saw little kids riding with their parents, youngsters riding alone (if they met the height requirement) and even grandparents riding it. It was a lot of fun...thrilling but not too scary. Just a reminder...you need to wear closed toe shows. Flip-flops and Crocs won't due it so bring some sneakers. There was a craft show going on while we where there so we walked around and spent some money on local food. That was nice. We also saw people on the zip lines and they all seemed to be having a blast. If we come back, I will definitely sign up for that. This was just a fun time at a nice place with friendly staff. The place feels so laid back (although safety is paramount so I don't want it to seem that wasn't taken seriously). If you come here, I think you'll be like me and leave with two things: 1) a smile on your face; and 2) a desire to come back soon.

There is the Penny chairlift that does not go far up the mtn at all--it takes you a little bit up to try out some green trails. Those slopes are not very wide which is helpful for beginners in my opinion BUT my friends enjoyed it.

We had good connectivity with T-Mobile 5G and Verizon wireless internet. We were able to capture several broadcast TV channels on HD as well. They have a small laundry room with 5 washers and 4 four dryers. The main washroom and restroom is up in the front of the park with the store; however, there is also another washroom and restrooms located in the park.

We were here for a couple nights for a wedding. Booking the "right" room online is complicated if…read moreyou don't know the layout. If you are in a wheelchair or have issues maneuvering stairs, call the resort to discuss options. There are no elevators or ramps at the Inn. The Inn is not a building to choose if you require a wheelchair or limited stair use. That also means that the restaurant and bar are not an option, either, as they are both inside of the Inn. The resort is on both sides of Route 153. There are multiple buildings. The check-in office is in the Mill. The staff are incredibly nice and accommodating. Upon entering the Inn, there's a strong, odd smell, but it was not in the room. The room surprised me. We booked a room that had a king bed and 2 twin beds. The twin beds are separated from the King bed allowing us to shut the door. The bathroom was in the room with the twin beds. There was also a sink, microwave, coffee and small refrigerator. Very comfortable beds. The room appeared to be relatively recently updated compared to the rest of the Inn. We were comfortable and it was a nice stay. They did a great job with the wedding reception, which was across the street from the Inn and beside the lake. We were truly impressed with the staff, the property, their great work with detail for the wedding and our comfortable stay.

Clean restrooms and showers are a must. Terrace Pines offers all of these. Pro tip: When making a reservation for a particular site, splurge for the 'site guarantee' (I forget exactly what it's called). Otherwise, your reservation might be moved to a different site. This worked in our favor once, but we would have been pretty unhappy if we were on the other end of the move.

Very few people were just there for the weekend. The campground was recently taken over by new owners. The previous owner let the permanent campers do their own things with their campsites. Many sites are run down and unkept. Several were quite trashy and needed to be evicted. There were many delapidated docks along the lake that need to be removed. Old abandoned canoes and kayaks along the trail to the lake. Fishing is very poor. We were told that the 2 lakes were stocked with fish, however the state hadn't done it yet this year. No fish jumping on either lake. Its my hope that the new ownership goes through and makes huge improvements. I'm not sure if we'll return. We will have to wait and see.

This year we are very disappointed with the conditions of the sight when we arrived. The bathrooms were dirty the beach was unkempt and the beach store was closed. Also the store was not stocked . The trees have rotted branches hanging everywhere during a rain storm on fell and dented the roof of my truck. When I mentioned it to a employee He acted as if he couldn't care less. I wish the original owners could see how bad this campground has slipped. Not to mention that if you want to make a reservation for the future they want full payment and a $20.00 sight lock in fee.Its sad we won't be going back anytime soon.

Let me start by saying I rented 2 side by side RV sites next to each other because the website says…read morefor large group tenting these sites are bigger and offer space for group tenting..my site hardly fit my tent and one other tent. I couldn't even put my screen house. Day 2 it rained which happens wouldn't have been an issue except the road gave away from above making 2 foot valley of water and rocks that slammed into my tent and caused one of the cars to only be on 3 wheels and another with the 2 ft ditch underneath it not being able to even drive out. when I went to the office to tell them they said " that's the risk you take when renting an RVtv site" it was NEVER TOLD TO US THAT SITE FLOODED OR THAT THERE WAS A CHANCE THE ROAD WOULD HAVE MADE A MOUNTAIN OF ROCKS SMASH INTO MY TENT. Also they put logs around the edge of the site that held in the foot of rain that accumulated soaking everything we brought. IT took 4 hours for them to come and refill the valley of dirt that gave way under the cars and they send 2 young girls with buckets to help recover the tent from the avalanche of rocks. day 3 during breakfast I look up and a golf cart was racing toward another 2 of our cars and slammed into between them causing damage to both cars. A 3 and 4 yr old decided to play in it causing this damage. Had the cars not been there the golf cart would have gone right into my daughters tent that had my granddaughter sleeping in it.. again the office was contacted and didn't even come to help the situation for over an hour. When they got there said " well things like this happen and called the police to file a report" They never once came and talked to us or offer an ounce of compensation. This campground is very expensive and canceled all activities because of the rain which I understand but could have rescheduled some of them the following day since we only paid to go to this place because of what they had to offer. The manager of guest relations was extremely rude and wanted nothing to do with anyone and sent the young assistant to me whenever I went to the office. They did absolutely nothing to make the situation any easier for any of us. I will NEVER EVER go back there. Why would they advertise large tent groups to rent an RV site if the sites flood??? Terrible experience never again!!
