My suggestion is that you need to know enough about what you are doing before buying materials here. If you are a casual DIYer, you can get into some trouble as what you buy is not returnable. Specifically, here is what I love about BMO. I have purchased all of my millwork for several projects and saved a considerable amount of money. I have purchased prehung doors for both interior and exterior applications and have saved quite a bit of money and found just the right thing. My clients were happy and they saved money on their materials. Lately they have begun offering inventoried cabinetry for kitchens and baths. You don't have a great selection of colors and styles however, what they offer is a good quality for the price.

Since I always try projects or end up getting the wrong thing, I frequent that desk a lot. They're super helpful and always upbeat. Side note: they have propane exchange but not the refill. Other locations have it which is awesome! I give this a 4/5 only because I sometimes struggle to find stuff and when I find an employee, it feels like I'm inconveniencing them. We recently had the siding replaced on our house. After this was complete, there were a lot of nails poking through the walls in our garage. Our garage is unfinished so the nails that were used to hang the siding came through to the inside of our garage between the studs. For aesthetic and safety I decided to hang some wall panels which is another story. Anyhow after the panels were up this is where the idea comes into play. I wanted to give the panels some support behind them but didn't want to pull them off the walls. First I thought about spray foam but then figured that I would probably need dozens of cans or more. So then I thought what about packing peanuts? I thought this was a great idea. So I started looking on line and at office supply stores. While I found some, the price was more than I thought it should be. That is when I found TwinSource. A 14 cubic foot bag was just over $20 or about a third of the price anywhere else. I thought how could the price be that much better? Did I figure the amount needed incorrectly? Well I placed my order and received a follow up email within a few hours that my order was ready to pick up. TwinSource is located in an industrial building. The process was super simple and my bags were waiting for me when I arrived. Turns out TwinSource is more than peanuts. They have packing supplies, paper products, cleaning supplies, food service supplies, boxes and more. Those that know, know…read more They're not open like big box stores, but because of that, you have people working there that will cut things down for you and point you in the right direction. If you are going to be doing anything that will require a sizeable amount of lumber, come here. You'll save a significant amount of money. Even a red cedar 4x4x10' will be $20 less than what you'll get at Menards or Home Depot. And that is just on one piece of wood. Plus, it feels like they take care of their employees as I see some of the same people and this is from shopping here multiple years. It has closeouts on sinks, tiles, cabinets, etc. Most important it has tools.. Lots and lots of tools. Be forewarned, if you leave your husband unattended, he can spend over 4 hours looking at router bits... Don't lose your 'child'.

When MNHO first opened I felt like a kid in a candy shop! As a Real Estate addict I am always in need of something. I found in the beginning I apparently needed more than I thought as often times my trips would result in someone having to bring a trailer to pick up whatever treasure I purchased. TVs, vanities, vacuum cleaner, patio set, tools, chandeliers, you name it, Ive bought it. The last few times I have gone I have seen a higher increase in pricing. The unfortunate part about this is that some of the items they now have, you would never expect for them to be there and now you see them at a slightly discounted price- for example today I saw cute pillow cases that were $8.00. If they were $2.00 I would have thrown them in the cart. The kicker for me was a small accent pillow marked for $19.99. While their facility is now HUGE their always changing inventory is no where near as exciting as it once was. As some of the other reviews mentioned it is often the case to get something with using parts or not in working order. The occasional sales are a nice way to feel like you are getting a deal, but if I'm being honest I would rather go to the original venue to ensure I get it right the first time. I have come to the outlet store multiple times over the years…read more My last project was where I had a shower stall wrap around thingy (plastic) was my shower wall above a tub. In the demo, I found they had stuck one on top of the other. It's a duplex and it was some janky work. I took those two out, put up new sheet rock and put in some Italian tile with some glass tile accents. I also included a "niche" so the shower now has a spot for shampoo, conditioner, etc. My tile cost $69.00. The niche? A formed piece of plastic? $75. This outlet center always has changing stock so what you see, you may not find again but if you have any ounce of creativity, you can create something. If you don't, the lady who has been there forever is so dang helpful! This last purchase was to put in a tile accent over a new stove we bought. Now the prices aren't like they were with that shower install but we still got a great deal for that small area. $30 I think? A great deal with tile that I don't see at your usual box store. Anyway, if you haven't been and have a project coming up, it is definitely worth checking this place out.
