Burnsville Mn home outlet!
Jason B.

Not what I expected. The place is a mess! The items for sale are displayed warehouse style and seem to be scratch n dent or normal store returns. There is no order to the store. Most items seem to have been opened at one time or another so I couldn't be certain all of the parts were there. I would not recommend wasting your time.

More than 300 square feet of new carpet squares for .50 per square foot. Unbelievable!

MN Home Outlet is a must-visit location for Twin Cities DIY-ers. In fact, serious DIY-ers may want to visit the outlet frequently to get first dibs on new arrivals. The oulet is a warehouse of overstock, refurbished, returned, and small quantity home construction items, appliances, carpet, tile, construction, lawn and yard items. If you're working on a DIY project, chances are you'll find something in the category at MN Home Outlet. If you're lucky, you'll find what you need. We visited the outlet after seeing the craigslist ads they posted for new commercial carpet tiles a prices from .50 to $100 per square foot. Upon arrival, we were able to find carpet tiles, as priced, in limited quantities -- but enough for our project. We were able to purchase all tiles for .50 per square foot -- an unbelievable bargain. We also picked up a vacuum cleaner ($30), undercounter-mounted garbage cans ($10), and other items. I plan to visit MN Home Outlet monthly to see if I can find bathroom vanities, shelving, and ceiling tiles for future DIY projects. It's a great find and only a 20-minute drive from St Paul.

Great deals if you don't mind hunting around and not specific on brands. If you watched too many diy shows and suddenly got inspired to do projects check this place out most products are from Home Depot or menards some are new, returns or discontinued products

It is only dirty because my garage is dirty.

This place is awesome and the people that work there are always helpful and knowledgeable about everything in the store. I bought a Husky Air Compressor that was $439 at Home Depot for $100 here. It looks and runs like brand new! I researched it through Husky and it was a return after only 3 days! I am more than happy with it and I always shop here before I look elsewhere now!

My place to go and my place to return what I didn't need. Staff is very friendly and helped me on…read moremy wild goose chase around the store! I recently bought JUNO brand wafer, or puck lights. They are 10 out of 10 easy to install and are very nice. Six pack was under $100. I also recently bought some electrical outlets and some MDF trim. The outlets were about $.20-$.40 cheaper than Home Depot and the MDF was a few dollars cheaper. The best part is everything that I needed to return including a 12 foot piece of trim was returned instantly and that was awesome ! I do feel like Menards has great prices and the 11% off is kind of cool, but then you basically have to spend it out of future purchases, which is not hard to do! But Home Depot has more quality brands and Milwaukee tools so I definitely go to Home Depot for different things than I do Menards! Pro tip is a Sprecher root beer on the way out!

Whenever Menards wants you to do an exchange for anything rather than get a refund. Don't do it…read more They do it because then once you do an exchange if you need to return it they only will issue a store credit. In the state of Minnesota they must have it visably posted in the store where the customer can read it and see it. They do not. Then once you're issued a merchandise credit you will never get a refund of cash or credit card for that ever if you have to return. Menards is the bastard of home improvement retail. They always have been. These were the findings and mandates of the court. They settled with Attys General Office in MN. Why does anyone shop here?
