The store manager came over and went to see if they could find it or find out what set it might have been in. All of this took 30 minutes. One of the staff finally said to sell us the pillow using a generic code and at the clearance price that other pillows were selling for. Everyone was very nice and very apologetic but someone needed to have agreed to sell it with a generic number earlier. I have worked retail for many years so I do understand that time moves faster for the employees, and I understand the need to find the item; however, to leave a customer waiting at a register for 30 minutes is unacceptable.

He placed fuel in the tank, tried it, came out and sent me on my way. Within one hour of use (which included emptying the fuel tank) the blower stopped working. When I took it in, I was informed that offering me the double warranty was their speak for the use of a fuel additive. The blower is fried and the cost of a repair exceeds the $545 I paid for it. I'm out $545 and they are out a customer.

The River Falls Ace Hardware is one of the best hardware stores I have ever been to. There is always lot of help if you need to find some oddball bolt or part. The staff all have radios and will locate anything you need in seconds. The did expand some and now have more square feet of hardware. This location also has an excellent rental selection. I have rented many items from them over the years. Only reason they lost a star is for their pricing on some of their items is a little bit on the aggressive side. I don't expect them to be Menards cheap but they could try to at least price things a little bit more affordable.

He asked if I wanted him to open up my key fob and figure out what battery I needed. Of course I wanted him to do that.
