I am not sure about every MN outlet store, the one I usually go to is in Burnsville next to Menards (yes, I hang out there too). This MN Outlet as a close out for home improvement store. It has closeouts on sinks, tiles, cabinets, etc. Most important it has tools.. Lots and lots of tools. Be forewarned, if you leave your husband unattended, he can spend over 4 hours looking at router bits... Don't lose your 'child'.

When MNHO first opened I felt like a kid in a candy shop! As a Real Estate addict I am always in need of something. I found in the beginning I apparently needed more than I thought as often times my trips would result in someone having to bring a trailer to pick up whatever treasure I purchased. TVs, vanities, vacuum cleaner, patio set, tools, chandeliers, you name it, Ive bought it. The last few times I have gone I have seen a higher increase in pricing. The unfortunate part about this is that some of the items they now have, you would never expect for them to be there and now you see them at a slightly discounted price- for example today I saw cute pillow cases that were $8.00. If they were $2.00 I would have thrown them in the cart. The kicker for me was a small accent pillow marked for $19.99. While their facility is now HUGE their always changing inventory is no where near as exciting as it once was. As some of the other reviews mentioned it is often the case to get something with using parts or not in working order. The occasional sales are a nice way to feel like you are getting a deal, but if I'm being honest I would rather go to the original venue to ensure I get it right the first time. Whenever Menards wants you to do an exchange for anything rather than get a refund. Don't do it…read more They do it because then once you do an exchange if you need to return it they only will issue a store credit. In the state of Minnesota they must have it visably posted in the store where the customer can read it and see it. They do not. Then once you're issued a merchandise credit you will never get a refund of cash or credit card for that ever if you have to return. Menards is the bastard of home improvement retail. They always have been. These were the findings and mandates of the court. They settled with Attys General Office in MN. Why does anyone shop here? They are 10 out of 10 easy to install and are very nice. Six pack was under $100. I also recently bought some electrical outlets and some MDF trim. The outlets were about $.20-$.40 cheaper than Home Depot and the MDF was a few dollars cheaper. The best part is everything that I needed to return including a 12 foot piece of trim was returned instantly and that was awesome ! I do feel like Menards has great prices and the 11% off is kind of cool, but then you basically have to spend it out of future purchases, which is not hard to do! But Home Depot has more quality brands and Milwaukee tools so I definitely go to Home Depot for different things than I do Menards! Pro tip is a Sprecher root beer on the way out!

First time I called to check on price per yard and delivery cost, the woman on the phone was rather snippy, but when I called back to place the order, another lady was very nice. On the day of the delivery, the driver called to double check the address and dump location as I was at work. We confirmed that he should dump the mulch on the driveway. He even told me that there might be some spill over onto the lawn. I totally understood because of the amount I had ordered. But when I got home, the ENTIRE mountain of mulch was on my lawn with spillover covering the city sidewalk! I couldn't believe it! That meant rushing to distribute the mulch before the lawn died and HOURS of extra time to remove as much mulches possible from the grass without ripping it out of the ground. I called to let them know and was told the manager would call me back, but he never did. The product was good and the price, and I totally understand mistakes happen, and I would have even given them another shot if they had apologized and been more professional and customer oriented. Super disappointing.

I got an estimate from a box store that I frequently shop at and they came in at $400 with a 3 day wait. Moonens charged $195 including delivery which was brought to me the same day! The product was identical and the service was exemplary! You won't find better in the South Metro.
