Typical ABC store with over priced everything. This location is pretty nice since if offers a gas station (prices slightly higher). This location offers great food selection as they sell plate lunches!!! It's also larger and more comfortable to shop in. More selection compared to Whaler's Village. :) Employees are also nice and friendly. read more

Who doesn't love the ABC store? I particularly like this one because it has a nice deli inside. The deli has daily specials and on Thursday they have $11.95 Prime Rib dinners! You can't beat that in Maui. Of course they sell spam musubi, which are huge for $2. They have pre-made sandwiches, wraps, salads, etc. I saw a container of macaroni and cheese probably for 2 people for $8. Yea, it's a lot, but that's at every grocery store too or with prepackaged items. They also have a small section of cheeses, meats like salami, and fruit. All very convenient if you want a picnic lunch and don't have to spend a fortune at a restaurant. They also have a gas station at this location. The store has a ton of souvenirs (all the generic stuff). You can find a few things that are made in HI. The prices are truly comparable to Walmart. I noticed only a couple of things were more expensive like a package of the guava cookies at ABC were $4, while at Walmart they were $2.50. But other souvenirs at ABC were only 50 cents higher than the same ones at Walmart. We had a rental car so it was convenient to stop at Walmart after arriving at the airport. What I'm trying to say is Walmart is 45 minutes away from this side of Maui. It's not a big deal if you couldn't make it there. People just kept telling us we needed to stock up at Walmart before we drove to Kaanapali...not true. Great service, friendly, well stocked, and clean! read more

I've been here multiple times and each time I've been here, it's like the deli service gets worse every time. If I were you, the extra 5 minute commute to the Kapalua location is worth it. Versus waiting 20 damn minutes for a couple of smoothies when there were no orders before you. read more

ABC stores are a chain of stres, similar to Walgreens in the bay area. This one has a smallish car park but carries their staple items (snacks, drinks, food, coffee, grocery items) along with souvenir items (tikki's, calendars, t-shirts, necklaces, postcards, keychains, name plates, etc). They also carry swim shorts very reasonable prices around $23. ABC stores also has a promotion whereby if you keep your receipts and spend over $100, you can go to any ABC store and pickup a free mug, calendar or reusable shopping bag. This ABC store has a gas station, but all gas stations are 40-50 cents per gallon more expensive than Costco, recommend you fill up there if you are headed in that direction, you will save around $5 per fill-up. This is one of the best ABC stores I've ever been to. It's basically a mini grocery store combined with a gas station. If you need food, drinks, souvenirs, clothes, etc. They've got it here! I had breakfast here and got the spam and eggs, as well as the banana pancakes. It was pretty tasty! I also bought a tank top and some fresh fruit here. We first went in to pick up some drinks but ended up ordering from their deli which turned out to be some of the best food we've eaten on the island. The salads are fresh and the daily specials are not to be missed, especially the lau lau. If you find something you like, you better remember to come back for it the same day because the menu changes! The service here was god awful. It took over 20 minutes for 2 smoothies and then an extra 10 minutes for my omelette. I didn't help that no one spoke English. Don't recommend coming here unless everything else is closed. Also it's a tourist trap, the prices are extremely over priced. I can't believe it took 20 minutes for a smoothie & when I asked the lady where the veggie omelets were she completely forgot about them and started making them. We are staying at Westin Nanea and this ABC store is just down the street literally. My husband saw on yelp they have hot food also so we went to check out for dinner. Lovely kitchen staff (all three )and so detailed and welcoming with order. Their courteous behaviors made up for their language barrier and they are smiling and understanding if you have patience. Even if you order from restaurant there is still time needed to prep and cook so I do not understand why anyone would think this is any different and give a one star for taking 15-20 min for cooking food. As of the pricing, Hawaii stores are easily double what ABC stores cost so I don't understand the comment about costpricing by a tourist also. Even flea markets cost more . The cashiers all three of them are nice so I strongly disagree with comments about any of them being rude. The store was in walking distance of the condo where we were staying. Our expectations of this store were real low, however, it turn out to be a wonderful place for a variety of items. We bought shirts, hats, pasta salads, sandwiches, breakfast burritos, snacks, drinks, and trip gifts. The food was actually very good! It was a wonderful place to have nearby. read more

i saw a customer buy a pool raft, then go outside to inflate it at the attached gas station air/water station. convenience. i couldn't stop myself from picking up a spam musubi every time i passed by. for some reason, the seaweed was tastier that other versions i tried on the island. not really into them, but for your fyi: the mauna loa 12oz bags are $9-10 here versus $13-14 at the airport, and $15-16 in california. read more

Great place to get beer, water, juice and soda. Very clean and well organized. You can throw a rock and hit an ABC store. They are everywhere! Not sure if it's supposed to be like US package stores or not. They do have souvenirs and tons of other stuff. Pretty much a convenience store. You always get an aloha and a mahalo when you're there. In general, I love ABC stores. They are well priced, and a good selection of local products and gifts. If I had a preference, this is THE ABC store I want to go to. This ABC has everything ABC stores have plus more. The fresh deli and hot food varieties are good and super convenient. Spam masubi is yummy, soup is also tasty. One year, we scored a huge selection of Hawaiian Christmas ornaments in this ABC in February, which we did not see at many other ABCs during that trip to Maui. read more

3 times in less than 2 weeks I purchased a " Mini- Lunch" for $6.49. In each case, the printed tag charged $6.99. In each case I brought it to the employees attention, and The tags were then lowered to the correct amount. However, I watched as numerous customers after me, were charged the higher amount.
