Vivian was AMAZING!! She is a true artist! I am from California visiting Maui for a week and was looking for a nail salon to do specialty acrylic nails. I came across this yelp and booked nails for myself and daughter (her first gel nails). I gave Vivian an Etsy photo of creative press on nails where she did her own interpretation of it, and we both loved it!! Desperately needed to get a pedicure. After doing some research on yelp, i chose to come to this place based on the reviews. There were two ladies there, one young one older. They were nice but the tools were def NOT sanitized. Everything was old-- the nail file was literally half peeled off. I asked for the basic pedicure but after painting one foot, the older lady said there's not enough polish. Had to redo it all.. Then I asked for two flowers so the young lady helped. Wasn't what I wanted but I guess it looked ok. Then I was charged double what the basic pedicure price was.. i think it said $37 but I was charged $67, not including tip. I didn't realize it at the time except thought.. wow how did it get so expensive I would not come back due to sanitary issues and also no up front cost discussion read more

I took my daughter here while we were on vacation. She's nine years old and they took her as a walk-in. The staff were very nice and accommodating and her nails looked great. She got branch tip manicure and her toenails done and they even talked it off with Pretty little flowers. Great experience made my daughter very happy! Very chill vibe. read more

So disappointing. This is my regular place for pedicures. Ben, the owner, has been away. I learned that he sold the business. I made an appointment for today, and when I arrived, the door was locked and no one was there. I tried calling the number on the door, and it rang and rang and rang. Get your nails done here! I walked in after 4:00 pm on a Sunday to see if they could fix a nail that broke off that another place had just done a few days prior. I was greeted warmly and despite being busy they got right to me. Everyone was so nice, the place was clean, prices are super reasonable, they did a great job. Been going there for over 7 years. New owner. Anna is the best nail person they have. Went to get nails done, Anna is in Vietnam for three months. The young girl tells me to pick out my color for French dip with white tips. She proceeds to tell me they have no white powder and I have to pick my pink color from the color wheel! I don't know what color it is. I've been having my nails done fair 3O+ years and have never picked a pink color from a wheel. Then she proceeds to tell me that she wants to do acrylic and paint on the white. I decline having my nails done, obviously she has no idea what she is doing. So I get a Deluxe pedicure figuring that's safe. She did NOT EXFOLIATE my feet at all, which is part of a Deluxe Pedicure. She doesn't even know what her own services detail! I recommend going somewhere else. The older woman knows I get my nails done and I sit next to her station while getting them done by Anna. Asked for her help. Totally not interested in helping out at all. She just planted herself out front and got on her phone. I waited a day before I posted this. I still feel the same way. read more

You stayed late for us on September 9th to paint my nails (mani, pedi) while my boyfriend waited and chatted with us. The flower design was so ornate and perfect; and it was particularly fitting because you chose to paint on my ring finger!! Went here based on the raving reviews! But we didn't get the same experience. My daughter and I wanted to get a manicure and pedicure since we couldn't get it done before we left for vacation. We picked up a flyer when we had dinner at Miso Phats and called the next morning to make an appt. On their price list they listed Mani/Pedi combo for $50 and in parenthesis says (upgrade $15 for gel). So we went in on the premises that we could upgrade to gel making the cost $65 to do both services. During our visit - the girl that did my nails was super rushing me to get done. I didn't get a leg and foot massage and a hot towel like my daughter did - we assumed I was gonna get that after she put the nail polish on since my daughter and I got the same color....but no. They also thought we were locals so upon hearing that we weren't - when we were ready to pay - they said our services was $90/each!!!! I brought up their pricing and one of the girls snipped at me and said "that's not how it works!". I didn't want to argue so I paid and gave them a generous tip which I now regret giving!! Ugh!! Also, my daughter asked to get acrylics done and the guy (who was in charge of the schedule) was sitting outside hanging out and said he didn't have time to do it...but in the span of the time we were there - he could've gotten it done! He also turned away a few walk in customers - and again in the span of time we were there the guy could've gotten it done. Just not impressed with this place. Felt like we were profiled and got scammed on the price. I gave two stars only because we got what we came in for. read more

I came in at 4:30 pm on a Monday without an appointment. They were super accommodating and took me immediately. This place is small but they are sterile with good color selection. Regular manicure and pedicure with callus removal cost $55. Would definitely come back in the future. read more

After leaving another nail salon mid way through - Kahana Nails &Spa cane though for me and my friend (she was getting married the next day)late on Saturday night. They graciously squeezed us in even though they were about to close. I got a Shellac polish change which turned out beautifully. I love the oval shape of my nails! I chose Twinkle Star polish which is a clear iridescent sparkle , but when layered it's almost a milky cast instead of clear- Very pretty in the light! Had two pedi's here, the deluxe which included a mint and sugar scrub, hot wax, a very relaxing foot and calf massage. The technicians are very thorough and meticulous, nice and friendly. The place needs a little facelift, but the services and prices are great. Family run business (husband and wife) that is still surviving through Covid. Located in a strip mall with plenty if parking. read more

Staff seemed like they just wanted me out. Definitely should not have left and wish I had said something. UPDATE Went back this morning when they opened and was told to come back an hour before close. My husband comes with me. We go in they have me sit down and I explain the issues. I say I just want them cut down, smoothed out and repolished. Manager (I think) says that I'll have to pay for the whole service again and that if I didn't like them I shouldn't have left the salon. My husband steps in (because I'm apologizing when the nails are just awful) and says that the original nail tech did a poor job and I already pains 108$. Manager says "I have to pay her"- in reference the nail tech I'm sat in front of. Which would be 95$ for gel x. I then say I'd rather have them removed if I can't get them cut down (this would be 20$). Manager says that removing them would take an hour and Annie the nail tech that is already working at my nails can redo my nails in less time and she will do them for 21$. There are also three other employees standing close around me and looking at my nails. This felt very weird. My husband is not satisfied with the manager stating that the nail tech wouldn't get paid if we didn't pay. She's smoothing them, removing chunks of the dried adhesive from underneath the nails, cut themselves down and files them. I feel terrible though that he says she will only get paid the 21$ though. She did a perfect job and I did not make her redo the nail design I had. Especially since I now know that she wouldn't get the difference from the salon for fixing the problem. So I just got some pretty pink nails. In the shape and length I originally wanted, smooth with no chunks or bumps. We did tip her. But like dang. These are now much better. But it's completely off putting having the owner/ manager tell someone that the service worker won't get paid at all, when the salon should be covering them due another employees error and poor work. Does not sit right with me.

Hair dresser dropped brush on floor a couple of times and continued to use on my hair. I left there with my hair looking the worse I have ever seen it. I went for a shampoo and blow out only but left there with frizzy, damp hair. i went back to my hotel to wash my hair out and do it again myself to make it look better. It was a waste of my time and my $60.00. Should not be doing hair at all there.
