Got my nails done. Asked for gel X. Provided pictures of MY nails for the length, shape and general design and then provided another picture for the color inspo and flower. Did not get what I wanted. The nails are too long. She didn't cut them at all? The nails are see through. The gel is bumpy and uneven and there are air bubbles. The paint for tips is not even at all and the flowers couldn't be done period despite saying they could be when I showed the design. 108$ later. Going back to just have them taken off. Staff seemed like they just wanted me out. Definitely should not have left and wish I had said something. UPDATE Went back this morning when they opened and was told to come back an hour before close. My husband comes with me. We go in they have me sit down and I explain the issues. I say I just want them cut down, smoothed out and repolished. Manager (I think) says that I'll have to pay for the whole service again and that if I didn't like them I shouldn't have left the salon. My husband steps in (because I'm apologizing when the nails are just awful) and says that the original nail tech did a poor job and I already pains 108$. Manager says "I have to pay her"- in reference the nail tech I'm sat in front of. Which would be 95$ for gel x. I then say I'd rather have them removed if I can't get them cut down (this would be 20$). Manager says that removing them would take an hour and Annie the nail tech that is already working at my nails can redo my nails in less time and she will do them for 21$. There are also three other employees standing close around me and looking at my nails. This felt very weird. My husband is not satisfied with the manager stating that the nail tech wouldn't get paid if we didn't pay. She's smoothing them, removing chunks of the dried adhesive from underneath the nails, cut themselves down and files them. I feel terrible though that he says she will only get paid the 21$ though. She did a perfect job and I did not make her redo the nail design I had. Especially since I now know that she wouldn't get the difference from the salon for fixing the problem. So I just got some pretty pink nails. In the shape and length I originally wanted, smooth with no chunks or bumps. We did tip her. But like dang. These are now much better. But it's completely off putting having the owner/ manager tell someone that the service worker won't get paid at all, when the salon should be covering them due another employees error and poor work. Helen was SO helpful and sweet especially with my littlest daughter - went above and beyond to make sure her nails were just perfect including a flower detail. Worst nail salon experience I've had: extremely unsanitary. Tools used between customers without cleaning. No gloves used and no hand washing between customers. When I asked for new tools they grabbed a tool that was in a different cart and just used on a different customer. I highly do NOT recommend going here. I got a standard pedi and there was no drying time between layers. I'm hoping I don't get an infection or fungus at this point. read more

My pedicure technician was thorough, tedious and quality driven. Go somewhere else. I should've let the peeling window coverings and empty business be a sign. I had a terrible ingrown toenail that was making my vacation not as enjoyable. I went to get a pedicure to get it fixed. The whole experience was uncomfortable. First the water in the tub was ice cold. The man doing my toes was unsanitary. The towels were filthy. Not just a stain or old, but covered in marks and discoloration. The guy answered his phone with his hands that had been in and out of water, used for lotion, then went back to my feet. He took a cash tip with the same dirty hands, shoved it in his pocket, went back to my toes. He put the tools down on the bare floor. I had to ask him to get the ingrown. I had 2. The first one was not as bad. He tried and tried and couldn't get it and ended up flipping his hand at it. He looked up at me and I just stared. He flipped his hand again as if to say he was over trying. He went to the other one that was really bothering me. I've had ingrowns pulled before. It's uncomfortable but should not be painful. He was painful. Just kept cutting rather than pulling the ingrown out. It hurt. Again he couldn't get it or didn't know how and waved his hands again like he gives up. His overall technique was not good. The foot wax did not get pushed around on my foot. Instead my foot just sat on a pool of wax that never hardened. The hot stones burned me I pulled away and he just kept putting them on my leg while I was pulling away. It left red marks on my legs. The other guy doing my nails wasn't much better. Terrible bedside manner. Knicked almost every finger. Sloppy. They also overcharged me which I see is a pattern here in other reviews. I asked for a receipt bc I wanted to check before accusing them of that but they "couldn't" give me a receipt and then walked away. read more

I don't usually like how my nails are done so I usually do my own Russian style manicure with gel extensions at home. However on my vacation I was struggling with some lifting. I wasn't sure if I would find anyone to do a gel fill but Annie did an amazing job. She re-sculpted the nails that were lifting with gel. She was able to give me a great nail shape which most folks usually struggle with and was also able to give me the nail design I was looking for. My son requested a pedicure. The technician barely touched his feet, refused to give him the color options and then walked away as he waited to for someone else to finish his pedicure. The vibe is "I don't touch men's feet". Crazy weird, I've never been to a nail spa and had this vibe before. I am getting married on the island on Sunday so I went to get my nails done here. I didn't have an appointment I just walked in and they gladly took me, they also had a full house and ended up having to stay 20 minutes past closing to finish my nails. They didn't fuss at all and the women who did them did an amazing job! I took a before picture of my nails and an after, but only an after of my toes I had a great experience here and I would recommend them! The other reviews on hidden/shady fees are true. I came here at the start of my week long vacation for 2 pedicures and a gel manicure. The service while I was there was not bad (stars for pretty good pedicures), but my gel manicure usually lasts up to 3 weeks, and this one started chipping and cracking before I even left Maui. The gel polish is really thin - the manicurist actually offered to try multiple colors after trying the one I picked out because they were all showing up too light/thin. The tools were definitely NOT sealed or sanitized, which I would expect for the prices of the services here, but especially with COVID. The upselling is real - kind of got the sense the main tech was annoyed anytime someone was not purchasing the more expensive services or add-ons because she'd ask the same question about them multiple times (3-4x) to every customer and continue talking loudly across the room to the other techs with each confirmation. We both asked for the Basic Spa Pedicure #1 and pointed to the $30 option on the wall, which is also on their website. However, after we were both done, she did some quick math on a calculator that added up to more than I expected based on the listed prices, at which point she mentioned we actually got Pedicure #2 (Pricing not listed on website) and that she also added tax. $35 Gel Manicure $35 Pedicure $35 Pedicure $5 tax (this could be state specific, but not clear why it would be an even 5) Total = $110 (Expected = $95) I would've brought my friends and family here for my wedding later this year, but will find another shop due to the creative accounting. read more

The place was tidy, business was steady, Britany Spears and Backstreet Boys playing in the background, and massage chairs were comfy and strong (I was happy and relaxed). Well, most definitely the worst mani/pedi of my life. I came in for a gel manicure and pedicure and was able to make a reservation on their site. Turns out you probably don't need one - the place is completely empty. That should have been my sign to walk away! So much went wrong during the services provided. The woman doing my pedicure cut me multiple times with the cuticular trimmer, even after I asked her to be more careful. The man doing my manicure was distracted (kept waking away to do who knows what) and did a horrible paint job. The polish is uneven and about half of my nails have air bubbles all over them. He also didn't trim the cuticles well and I had to fix it when I got home. Finally, I'm not convinced this place is sanitary. I saw him pulling random tools out of his apron but nothing was in a new autoclave bag. Finally, they give no explanation of prices. I picked a basic pedicure ($35) and gel manicure (which I also thought was $35). But was rung up for $79 for both services. I wanted to ask for details but the woman behind the counter walked away before I could say anything. Overall, I'm sure there are better options in the area. Don't come here! I came in with my wife and daughter so they could fix my wife's nails from the day before (nails had huge chips within 8 hours of being done) and so my daughter could get her nails done for the first time. When we walked in, they seemed irritated and told us to return an hour later, which we did. We sat in our car for an hour outside before being told that they had just started on two other people and that it would be another hour before they could get to us. My wife was upset, and my daughter was crying. I've never had such a bad experience with a nail salon before. read more

The manicure would do in a pinch!! so my current manicure was peeling. So I thought this would be a good place to go relax and get a great manicure however since a soaking in foil and acetone was their practice it ate away at my fingertips skin. Not used to that particular way of doing things just a machine to remove the basic gel from my real nails. At the end the manicure did look OK for my from afar judge for yourself see pictures.
