If you don't mind not wearing a mask, I would recommend this place for cuts. I walked in and was surprised none of the workers or customers were wearing masks, I was the only one. I went to get a deep conditioning mask which was $40+, but wasn't too pleased when it felt like just the ends of my hair was smothered with a slab of cream. My whole point of going there was to get my dry scalp conditioned but it didn't get touched at all. Also, when she came back to rinse it off, I swear I heard her mumble under her breath "fuck" as if she was disgusted to be even dealing with my hair. I did appreciate the haircut as she did cut off my dead-ends like I needed. I mean, for what I paid, I basically could've just done at home or at Supercuts. I'm now learning a pattern when booking an appointment online for a salon: if they have a lot of slots open, it's probably not a good sign that they're what you're looking for in a stylist. read more

Super frustrated & disappointed. Drove into town for a wax with Kelly. Originally booked my appointment at 12:45p, but got a text this morning stating it was at 1pm. Moved around an appointment following this one to accommodate the time change. Showed up at 12:55 and was told that I couldn't be accommodated because I was late. I explained that I got a text saying my appointment time was 1pm. (I forgot my phone at home & couldn't show her.) She said, "Well, if that's true, I need to contact the company that does the texts." So now I'm a liar?! Look, technical mistakes happen, life happens, but I would never treat a first-time customer like this. So, here is the screenshot proof that y'all effed up. MJ saved my wedding...hair. That's a little dramatic, but I made the rookie mistake of going for a pretty drastic color change 1 day before I left for Maui (to get maui'd). As with all drastic changes, it takes some getting used to, but nope...after 1 day on the island, I realized that I hated my color. This is coming from someone who is very low maintenance. I was going to deal with it and hope my haku covered up the lightness. However, on a random trip to Foodland, I walked past Plush and they said that MJ was available to do my hair the following day. A sign? My consultation with MJ was amazing - I've never had anyone ever spend that much time explaining options and being honest enough to say that no, my Pinterest screenshot will not be a reality. What I loved is that she took this time to make sure she knew what I wanted, gave her input on what would look best on me and then even held the swatch of color up to me to confirm the color. Excellent service!! The place is beautiful and very clean, in a great location!! They just added Manicure and Pedicure service and the photos around the salon are fabulous!! I go there every 3 months and I take all my 3 kids. Even though it cost a little bit more to cut my kids hair, about $25 instead of $19 in most places it is well worth. they treat my kids with a lot of kindness giving them attention and the hair cut is superior compare to the other places. I just had an awesome experience at Plush. I just moved to town and needed some color touch-ups and a cut, luckily I had an appointment with Collin. He was awesome!!! I'm not a usual hair salon person, in fact I barely ever cut my hair, but he knew exactly what to do with the little description i gave him and I LOVE my hair. Not only is he an awesome stylist, (best blow-out) but we had great conversation and made me feel very comfortable. He had great customer service and I'd highly recommend him . I also, decided to get my eyebrows waxed and enjoyed my time with Veronica. She was quick and I didn't even hurt. Keep up the good work and safe travels Collin :). PS. She was nice and polite, maintaining conversation without making you feel uncomfortable or silly. Professional and skilled, we were both very pleased with the service at Plush. Average/fair pricing. I love this place, gotten my hair cut here plenty of times by Jeremy and others. It has always been a 5 star experience until the last time I was there and sat with Angela. First off, cutting my hair is simple. It's a hawk, not a traditional hawk but a hawk non the less. A good stylist can knock it out in under 10 minutes. But Angela was more focused on giving me her version of my hair cut. Instead of buzzing the sides all the way down like I asked she want to do it at a 3 citing "most guys don't buzz the sides all the way" I don't care what most guys like, just cut it how I asked, I am paying you woman!! I had to ask a second time to buzz them at a zero and she responded with some kind of fade on the sides that required me asking a 3rd time to buzz the side till there is nothing but stubble. (I felt I had to be as specific as possible because what usually is an easy task for hair stylists was seeming to me overwhelming for her) The only other request was to follow the lines and not cut any of my long hair. Apparently that was to much to ask because I wouldn't exactly call this a hawk anymore. She tapered the fuck out of it in the back!! It was the same thickness all the way back for the last year but now it's 4 inch wide on the top and about half an inch wide in the back. The worst part is, my hair is so long that at first glance looking at the back it looks fine. But I didn't notice until the next day just how much my hair got butchered. To be honest, I blame myself. I was to preoccupied trying to figure out what her thought process was on the sides on my head that when she said she was done I was just like, "get me the hell out of here!" I guess I just have to scrap it and start over. No big deal only took me a year to grow it out.. read more

Veronica is amazing! Had a Brazilian from her earlier (my regular Estetician on the main land flaked the day before I left). Everyone at the spa is so lovely and helpful. Veronica gave possibly one of the most pain free waxes I have ever had, and I've had a lot!! I would recommend this spa and Veronica to anyone in Maui, whether you live here or are just visiting!
