The owner is very knowledgeable about "how to" manage hair and what to do depending on your situation and hair type. She is accommodating and wants to be sure you are 100% happy and satisfied. What a funny and kind hearted lady. The haircut didn't quite look like the photo brought in as an example, but her prices are reasonable for the area and she has decades of experience. Downside, there is not always parking available since it is a small lot. So come early if you have an appointment.

Other than that: Call. Make a reservation. Get up on the chair on time. Get a great haircut. Out the door in 10 - 15 minutes. I guess the caveat is that my haircut is pretty simple. The stylists are nice and the price is noticeably cheaper than other salons on Maui (still crazy expensive compared to the mainland.) They should just niche down and call it "Supercuts for men and old people."

Trisha was definitely the best decision I made while planning my wedding in Maui all the way from…read moreTennessee! Obviously- planning a wedding is stressful enough on a bride, but has soon as Trisha and her awesome crew walked through the door on my wedding day... I IMMEDIATELY felt more relaxed. They were efficient, honest, helpful, organized, prepared, FUN,... honestly I could go on and on with amazing words to describe my experience with Trisha. Not to mention- her crew helped SAVE my wedding flower epic fail. Some of my bridesmaids went to pick up my bouquet and when they brought it back- it didn't match my bridesmaids bouquets WHATSOEVER. I was kind of in a state of shock/panic and one Trisha's girls said (without me having to ask) she had done flowers before and she offered her help. I was so relieved and not 20 minutes later, she had completely adjusted and fixed my bridesmaids bouquets to work with mine. I mean- completely ABOVE AND BEYOND what they were there for- but just very very VERY selfless and helpful. With all of that said- the makeup & hair was exquisite. My husbands reaction when he saw me really said it all- he told me I looked like an angel and actually I saw a tear shed from his eye. (He's a big macho military dude- so big deal lol). My makeup was perfect- she suggested a more classic look which I completely appreciated. My hair was flawless- I was worried about having it down in the beach with the wind, but she made my crown work with it and it turned out completely PERFECT. If there were anymore stars to give- I would give them! I 100% completely recommend hiring Trisha and her girls for your big day or ANY event that you have planned. She's the perfect fit for any occasion! Thank you Trisha for making my one special day memorable!!!!

When coming to Maui to finalize our wedding venue search, I decided that doing our engagment photos…read morethere would be best to test out someone for Hair & Makeup. I did my research, and thought that Jessica's pricing was very reasonable, and that her work resembled what I was looking for. With less than a week heads up, she was able to coordinate a time for my hair and makeup, and was so accommodating! I was very happy with the results after she was complete, but the real test came for the actual engagement shoot where we were on the beach getting splashed with ocean water, and battling wind. I have VERY fine blonde hair, and every piece stayed in place (and it was down in loose curls!), and my makeup look like it had just been put on despite hours in humid/wet conditions --- I was floored! Obviously with such a great experience, I booked her and her team for our wedding date once we settled on a venue. The results on our wedding day were nothing short of what I expected. She guided me through the process of how to do multiple (1 bride, 5 bridesmaids, 2 moms, and a groom's service) people's hair/makeup within tight timeframe, and even was able to take on an extra person for hair, and a groomsmen for a touchup last minute! My five bridesmaids are seasoned bridesmaids, in weddings spanning from Napa, to Palm Springs, to Italy and beyond and they all unanimously agreed that was HANDS DOWN the best hair/makeup experience they have ever had. The airbrush make up worked in humid Maui conditions all day, and with a variety of hair lengths/texture everyone was pleased with the results. I would recommend Jessica & her team to anyone looking for a seamless/stress free and beautiful hair/makeup experience on Maui for Weddings or any special events!

Jessica did my hair and make up for my elopement and I was so happy with the results…read more Not only did I look and feel beautiful, but Jessica was very sweet and helpful as I was not feeling well that day and the A/C broke in my hotel room. It speaks to her expertise that she could put on my eyelashes all while the hotel staff climbed ladders to fix the A/C, room service fluffed the pillows and bedding, dropped off a celebratory bottle and chocolates. She kept telling me we would later laugh about it and she's right. Aside from some general requests on how I wanted my hair and makeup to look, I trusted her to do her thing and she delivered. I went with wavy curls because I wore a flower crown. I'm always skeptical of curling my hair because it never holds but it held up beautifully even in the Maui heat. The airbrush makeup is amazing. Felt so light on my skin and looked great all night. Thank you, Jessica!

My first visit today! I got a women's long haircut with SERENA. My first cut in a year-and-a-half…read moreand I am really happy I went. The salon is in a gray cottage (has been painted since the photo on Yelp), with a lot of parking spots nearby. It's a nice salon with beautiful views.. and horses right outside! Serena made me feel really comfortable. She was easygoing but definitely professional and knowledgeable. The shampoo/conditioner felt wonderful. Getting back to her chair our convo led to her background, and from what I gathered, her education was from a Paul Mitchell school on Oahu. I respect the Paul Mitchell standards and continuing education program, and I felt it reflected on my experience with Serena. The products she uses are varied actually. Definitely not just P.M, but they are all of high quality, and I love that. She uses what she has found works, regardless of brand (from what I can tell). Also, she asked a lot of questions but it was natural and at the right time, mixing in with the rest of the fun, light convo we had. I got 6 inches cut from my length with layering and face framing and a blowout at the end. The owner came into the salon in the middle of my visit and let Serena know that I had left a message (he didn't actually know that I was the person that had left the VM), and said hello to me. It was a really chill, relaxing environment. Being in a cottage, I didn't know what to expect, but it's a nice clean salon inside. I haven't felt this good in a while. The result was beautiful. I'm a happy camper. I'm excited to go back again. I was in good hands. Highly recommend. Serena has a lot of experience in a lot of areas (from what I asked her) and I would feel comfortable recommending her to any of my friends and family. I'm going to include some photos. Sorry i wasn't able to capture the haircut very well. It's been a few hours of me having it up in a bun and it's a bit windy. Pardon any errors-- I have had a cocktail - but I wanted to get this review out.
