Scheduled a cut today after calling several places. Got in at noon, had TJ cut my hair and it was a wonderful experience. This was the most pampered rich experience I have ever had getting my hair done. As a man I have been many places and never felt so well catered to. Got a straight blade cleanup and it was an awesome experience. Would recommend this place to anyone looking to get their lines as tight as tight gets!!! read more

I was visiting Maui for the first time and needed to get in for a styling for a wedding and my hair was not handling the humidity well. Hillary was able to get me in the same day and my hair looked fantastic!! I got loads of compliments on it and it held together all night. It's too bad I couldn't sleep in it. Also Hillary was really cool to talk to and made it feel like it took no time at all. Would definitely go back if I ever go to Maui again. read more

Just moved to west Maui and was so worried that I won't be able to find a good hair stylist. Fear no more! I read some reviews on here and decided to make an appt with someone that is experienced in cutting shorthair. I was quickly paired with Jessica who did an amazing job at cutting my hair. I think this must've been one of the best first haircut ever! I'm so relieved that I found a trusted hair stylist! Also everyone in the salon was so welcoming, what a great place to be! read more

We are on vacation and I wanted to stop somewhere to get my hair trimmed. Michaela did a great job. Everyone was so nice and the salon was bright and clean. Would go back. read more

We came in on a rainy Friday afternoon to get hair cuts for my two kids. Jessica was the hair stylist helping with the hair cuts. She did an awesome job with the fades and the trim on top for my kids. I liked the mechanics tool carts used at each salon station! The staff is super friendly and attentive. Would come back again when in the area! read more

The best salon ever! I had been a customer for a long time but moved for three years. How nice to come home to this group of very talented, professional and fun people Roxanna, Maria, Pepe, and Marcy all wonderful. Thank goodness! ALOHA! Susan Flaherty read more

I went last year and had a great cut/ style. This year my stylist was not there and tried someone else. Bad idea cost twice as much and she did no styling and bad cut. read more

Hillary was fantastic! Called in the early afternoon for a haircut and they were able to accommodate quickly. Great conversation and a supremely quality wash, cut and style service for a very fair price. The place was clean and had great products. A place that locals know and trust, it was a fantastic experience overall. I'm sure all the staff there is fantastic but I highly recommend Hillary read more

Mazhena (Marzie) did a great job dyeing my hair into a beautiful brown. I would recommend her services! (I called that morning, and she was able to squeeze me in at lunch time!) read more

100/10. I was very hesitant to cut and dye my hair, and thought that it would be a huge mistake that I would regret. But this place went way beyond my expectations. It was clean, the staff was friendly, and overall I will most likely be coming back here again. Thank you so much, Nelly, I look great. This is definitely a go-to place! read more

Roxana's Hair Affair - My hair after Nelly was done with it! - Hair Salons Near Me - Lahaina, Hawaii

Not only have a made a friend, but Michela gave me the BEST HAIRCUT/COLOR I have received in a very long time. I have short, frizzy and wild hair and she was able to give me a beautiful cut that falls into place with beautiful highlights that brightens up my face. Even my husband, who rarely notices, said that I look 10 years younger! The only problem is that I live in CA so we will have to figure out when I can go back for my next haircut. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this Roxana's. read more

We went last minute as a walk-in and they said they were totally booked for the day. Luckily one of the women working jumped in and was willing to squeeze my husband in in 20 min. Good conversation, she apologized unnecessarily for the haircut taking too long, and it was a good cut; even finished with product and styling. Mahalo! read more

Marize did an amazing job on my cut and blow dry. I hadn't had it cut in 8 months and she got all the yucky off and added body and layers. I trusted her to do what she thought was best and it turned out to be one of the best cuts I've ever had! I only wish she could cut my hair regularly! The phone was blowing up and people coming in left and right. So it must be a happening place! So glad I trusted her for our family pictures read more

Nelly gave me the best haircut I have ever had. I would highly recommend her. Thank you read more

Due to last minute flight cancellation I was unable to get my hair done back home. As soon as I got here, I made an appointment. They were very accommodating. Nelly did a fantastic job with my hair color (foil and color). Loving my hair. Thank you Nelly and the staff for accommodating me. read more

Came to Maui needing a haircut. Since we stay in Napili, I thought I would give Roxanna's Hair Affair a try. Nellie, the stylist on duty squeezed me in the same day, and gave me the best haircut I've ever had. While it was a no frills haircut, no shampoo, no rinsing, the cut was perfect and I was out of there in 20 minutes, and only charged me $25. my brother in law went there for a haircut, and he was also pleased I'll be getting a haircut there every time I return to Maui read more

I just wanted to thank the very nice, professional young lady that cut my hair and beard today! First hair cut in 8 years! Not only that i I was 30 minutes late, she still made me feel welcome and relaxed.thank you again. Very rare these days! If only I didn't have to fly from California to Maui I'd be back read more

Wow! Very impressed with this place! I came to Maui for my honeymoon and booked a haircut with them. Hands down best haircut I've ever had!! The staff is so friendly, the price is perfect! I wish I lived here so I could always get my haircut here :) Don't go anywhere else! This is the place you want. read more

This was not only the best haircut I have had, the same was said by two other people in my party. With no reservations they were able to fit us in, showing us true aloha. read more

Worst hair styling experience. They did not ask me how I wanted to cut my bangs and the guy just told his hairstylist to cut it.. the fool strait up cut it straight across without hesitation. I've always been asked how short everytime I get my bangs cut. I was pissssed! They tried making it a better but made it worse each attempt. They should have given me a discount for that. They even raised the price at checkout when she obviously quoted me at $40. At checkout they asked for $60 after knowing they screwed up and had an unhappy customer. I was pissed and asked her about the previous price. Horrible experience and the skill level of the hair cutting/styling was the poorest that I have ever seen. Future customers do not come here for hair styling for a special occasions. Even though it's closest to the Ritz/Kapalua villas, you are better off at Head to toe or salon at the Ritz. read more

Just ask for Nelly! Not only is she professional, the environment is clean . For a hair cut, style , or color, contact Nelly

You HAVE to go see Jessica at Roxana's! She is unbelievably talented at what she does. I came in without a haircut in over a year and she cleaned me up so beautifully. I was debating bangs and trusted her professional opinion that it wouldn't look right considering how fine my hair is. I was able to share how I wanted my hair to look and Jessica went above and beyond my expectations. We went with highlights (which was done perfectly) and layers. She did such a good job, I left feeling like a million bucks. I can 100% honestly say that my hair has never looked better. I feel so much more beautiful on this vacation and if I'm ever in Maui again, I will be coming to see Jessica!! read more

I've been coming to Roxanna's for over 10 years now. The service is great and I've never been disappointed in my haircut. I don't always use the same person I use whoever they have available as I'm really bad on making appointments. I'm a very picky person want to comes to my hair. I spend more time on the bathroom and on my hair than my wife does. LOL WHAT BOTHERS ME IS THAT THERE'S ONLY TWO REVIEWS ON YELP. AND IT'S BOTH TWO PEOPLE THAT GAVE NEGATIVES! I bet those two people only write bad reviews never good ones. Most of Roxanna's clientele or older and been coming here for years. They don't do Yelp. But they are seniors and very picky and I keep on coming back that must mean something. read more

So I needed a haircut when I was in Maui staying on the northwest side of the island. I saw good reviews about Roxanna's hair affair. I was pleasantly surprised that even though I got there late in the day I only had about a five minute wait. The stylist to cut my hair, I think her name was marzie, was extremely friendly and personable. I would consider that haircut the best ever! Too bad I live 2500 miles away from this place I would be there every week. The price of a men's haircut was reasonable too! I really hope I got the stylist name right but I do remember she had a Polish accent which was really cool. I Definitely recommend this place. read more

Michelle is the absolute best!!! She is so personable and friendly, I felt like I've known her forever! She is hip and fun and brings an awesome edgy feel to a very bland salon! Love my new girl! Great salon! read more

I'm going to be completely honest I didn't love my haircut at first and it was kind of agitating, (I'm always like that with haircuts) but after I had a shower and did what I usually do with my hair I have got to say it looked pretty damn nice, love how quick it is to get my haircut and how good it looks. I recommend to anyone looking to schedule a quick stylish haircut. I look forward to coming again for my next one. read more

My sister an I decided to get our hair done while on vacation in Maui. We both got our hair highlighted and cut. Michelle was wonderful. She did a wonderful job and both my sister an I plan on getting our hair done with Michelle when we come to Maui on our annual vacation. Thank you again Michelle. We also had just a great time. The girls were so much fun. read more

I just got in town and needed a haircut. I am glad I found this place I walked out with a great haircut at a reasonable rate. Maritsa cut my hair and she did great. The staff is very friendly. Other places I stopped by before I came here advertised men's haircuts but seemed to prefer cutting women's hair. I highly recommend this place. read more

We're here visiting near Lahaina HI and I needed a haircut. I called a place I found on google. They gave me an appointment for 2 hours later. I showed up a little early and had to wait for the appointment time they gave me because they were busy. The persons cutting hair were cutting men's and women's hair. Nelly was the nice woman that cut my hair. The best haircut I've had in years. Thank-you!!! I would recommend this place to men or women. read more

Marzie did a great job cutting my hair! Great conversation and very nice people. I will definitely be back.

I love this place. All stylists here are extremely experienced. I have had many many bad hair colors and hair cuts but never here. Cute place, friendly service, and they do a great job and make sure you walk out the door read more

Walked in got an appt 20 min wait. Marzy did my cut and it was outstanding! My hair was pretty long and I wanted a retro layered cut so I showed her a pic of what I wanted and 45 mins later I had an awesome hair cut. Now I have to come to Maui for my hair appt. read more

Extremely happy with my cut and color and was not expecting my hair to feel so well conditioned! I consider myself very particular and will complain like a stuck pig if it's not right! Did not catch the Latin gentleman's name who cut my hair but he was awesome and very concerned that he was doing exactly what I wanted. I am going to try and get my stylist here at home to duplicate what he did for me! Thank you, thank you, thank YOU!!! read more

Both my husband and I tried Roxana's while we were on vacation in Kapalua. Even though we saw the other less-than-positive reviews, they were 2+ years old so we decided to give this place a try. They were quick to get us both in (on separate days), met all our needs, and were exceedingly nice. My husband had his hair cut, and I had my roots colored as well as a hair cut. The gal who did my color/cut (Nellie, if I remember correctly) was great both technically as well as personally. She was friendly but not overly-friendly, and she did a really good job matching the color that my existing stylist uses. Not always easy! The hair cut she gave me was good too. While I was there, several locals came in to say hello; it was a nice place with a positive local vibe. I'd be happy to go back the next time we're in Maui! read more

Roxannas was the first place my son and I got a haircut on Maui. We walked in and we're seen right away. Roxanna and her staff were absolutely perfect. Facility, location and tools perfectly clean and comfy. She cut my hair better than how I could have asked for, and trimmed my eyebrows without me even asking. This is something I have asked countless barbers and stylists to do but they refused. She just did it! In one simple pass like magic ending years of obnoxious eye brow discomfort. The price was absolutely affordable. No upselling or pressure of any kind. Her male stylist did a perfect job on my son's long hair, keeping the length we've been going for, but still clearing out his bangs and hair by ears. I would have paid more and did by giving a big tip. You will too trust me. This is the best salon I have ever been to and this is coming from a business owner and the sibling of a professional stylist. I will only come here so long as I live on Maui. read more
