Dr. Guzman was adamant that this can happen & that I had signed paperwork acknowledging that, and that she would not offer any type of refund, or reparative services for permanent damage caused. This was a mistake made by a practitioner that was new to the machine, & the way it was handled was just awful. They offered zero acknowledgement of fault, or support to the client. We asked some questions about your services, and instead of providing helpful information, Margi became confrontational, yelling and raising her voice. Her behavior was extremely unprofessional and completely inappropriate for a medical office. We also requested a copy of our billing records. Rather than offering to mail the records to us or discussing the matter professionally, Margi immediately stated, "You haven't paid, and I am sending you to collections." This was particularly troubling because we were standing there with our credit card ready to make a payment. There is absolutely no reason a patient should be spoken to in this manner, especially when they are attempting to resolve their account. The situation could have been handled calmly and professionally with a simple explanation of the balance and an opportunity to make payment. Dr. Mallott's care was fine, but the conduct of the billing department and front desk significantly affected our overall experience. We believe this matter should be addressed by management, as appropriate customer service and respectful communication are basic expectations in any medical practice. Another issue was he gave me Botox in an area he recommended for me and it caused me to not be able to smile for 2 months. Not only is he super expensive, he's super unhelpful.
