My husband and I had a gift card for a Deluxe Pedicure. I left with nice color and soft legs and feet. The lady was nice but quiet most of the time. Escape Nails has an awesome ambience and I love my manicurist, Natalie. I only wished that they would do something about the smell from all the harsh chemicals. Perhaps they need a better HVAC system. Unfortunately, I think this is fairly common in all nail salons. I'm probably being overly sensitive about the smell. read more

It was a Monday, I'd just finished errands, and decided to get my nails done on a whim before waiting for my grand niece to get dropped off from school. Found this cute nail salon on Yelp, and thought I'd give it a try. I had no appointment, and came as a walk in. They were able to accommodate me for a mani - pedi. I ended up being adventurous and wanted a design, in which the nail tech said she loved doing Halloween designs, so I left it to her. She did a fantastic job!! Designs are cute and not over the top (to me at least). I got a deluxe spa pedicure afterwards. Long story short, I felt comfortable, friendly service, not rushed, and I didn't flinch at the prices. Love this salon especially now that I don't get a chance to go very often. I got a basic pedicure today and the lady seemed a bit pushy about me getting gel nails. I don't know if this is just common practice nowadays but I felt kind of guilty and annoyed at the same time. I told her I had to pick my daughter up right after and I told her I know all about getting gel nails. I wanted to tell her I used to get Mani/pedis all the time shellaced (sp?) when I was living on the mainland back in my younger days but why do I have to explain? I just wanted a basic pedicure, not do my own nails for a change and I wanted to relax. She was nice though and did a good job. They weren't super busy today so maybe that's why she seemed a little pushy to me today i don't know. I still like this place. I still tipped 20 percent. I vented honestly about my experience today. I want to start off by saying the owner is great, saw the issue with my nails and gave me a refund. Only coming on here to say I was physically chased out of the nail salon and yelled at by the woman who did my nails. I wasn't planning on going back but to make me feel so physically unsafe and held hostage in a public place and just like so embarrassed is a terrible experience that I hope nobody else has to go through. read more

I discovered Escape Nails & Spa because my usual salon for eyebrow waxing couldn't fit me in (I was last minute). Immediately, I noticed how clean the salon was! This is my nail spot. Being coming here for years. Are always able to fit me in. Have a good variety of colors. Sometime I wish they had some newer things like cat eye but overall good selection. Great freestyle nail designs/art and I can just show them a picture and they make it look just like it. Owners are always there and friendly/joking with repeat customers. Kimle is is BEST!! Always so quick and the quality is very good. She's the sweetest person. Bring a busy mom I love that that I don't need to sit there for 2 hours. I returned to Maui with the intention to visit Escape Nails and Spa. The last time here I had a gel manicure with a design and it was great. The best experience I've had at a nail salon!!! I got the deluxe pedicure and it was about an hour long of care and spa experience. She used fresh sterilized nail utensils on my nails. Got my nails done for a wedding. Nice salon, and friendly, non- pushy staff. They have online type booking so that's nice. Ample parking. Overall, it's decent, pretty much run off the mill salon. I didn't like the following: - over cutting of my cuticles, 3 of which bled. And she put lotion and cuticle oil ON the cut areas. This is asking for an infection... - did gel nails and said it would last 2-3 weeks. I got my nails done on Friday night and as of Wednesday, a few are starting to wear down. Not even a week. - cash tip only. Had to go to minute stop next door and use an atm (FHB so if not your bank, that's an extra $4.25 service fee). Price is average $48 for gel nails. read more

We are a full service nail salon spa in Wailuku Maui. When you step into our salon it feels just like you stepped into a high end spa in Wailea. We specialize in a relaxing experience,so when you leave us you feel rejuvenated. Established in 2014.

Our business is brand new, but our staff have all been in the business for a minimum of 5 years each. They come from all different salon situations, High end spa's in Wailea, San Jose and Atlanta. The owner Brian decided that he wanted everyone to have a spa experience he designed the salon to have the look and feel of the very expensive salons without the price. He wants every client that steps in the door to feel pampered, he has very high customer service satisfaction goals and he intends to meet every one with every client.
