Great experience as a walk-in (I had called first to make sure I could still come within an hour of their closing time). Donna did my gel pedi and did a great job. She was also very friendly and experienced. She said that the salon had changed ownership about two years ago (Terri is the new owner). The salon has been beautifully updated. These are my toes after two weeks. I have been barefoot or in slippahs the whole time. I've run almost 5 miles on a rocky muddy trail (twice) and run about 12 miles in the sand in those two weeks. I came from Washington state needed a manicure and my cuticles needed help. Didn't have my cheaters with me when they finished, and when I got back to the condo, I saw that they had scratched my nail with a metal instrument near my cuticles that made marks on my nails. They should use a wooden push back in instrument. Not happy at all will never go back. read more

I'm irritated with myself because I love shouting out the folks who go out of their way to give great customer service. Alas, my error. This nail salon is in an unassuming strip mall and doesn't look like much from the outside. Thankfully, Yelp told us this was THE place get a mani and pedi so we stepped in. And it is absolutely lovely in the inside! In addition to being tastefully decorated, it's clean, cool, and comfortable. The ladies were so kind to let my daughter sit next to me even though she was getting a mani so that she could also enjoy the chair massage and chat with me. My classic pedicure was perfect - relaxing and pretty. They warned my daughter that her manicure may not last very long (she opted to not get gel) and guess what? We were in Hawaii for my mom's birthday so I decided to treat her to a little mother/daughter mini spa day. We made reservations ahead of time and I'm glad we did because there were many people who wanted to do walk in appointments and weren't able to get in. The main reason why I chose this place was because they had really cute nail art on the pictures on their website. I ended up being fairly disappointed in the whole experience. We both had pedicures and gel manicures booked and were there to relax. It was very apparent they wanted to rush through so they could grab lunch. While we were getting our pedicures we had other techs who sporadically jumped in to do parts of our manicures during the pedicure. We had to remind them multiple times that we also wanted the nail art added. My nail art on my pedicure could barely be seen because she used a more pearlized polish instead of white. My mom's pedicure nail art was done last minute after her manicure only because I reminded the tech again that we wanted it. My mom ended up with two different color polish from her pedicure and manicure even though they were supposed to match. I didn't realize this until it was too late (she would never say anything about it). What should have been a fun and relaxing time wasn't. On top of it about an hour after we left I received a call that they undercharged is and that they needed to charge us extra. Not a great experience. I wouldn't recommend. Being a male, I was very skeptical to get a pedicure with my wife. After a very active 23 years of life, my feet were reminiscent of sandpaper (sorry if that is gross for some, but I believe it should be noted). Ling and Kim did an absolutely fantastic job for both my wife and I. They were great conversationalists and even more welcoming. I am very excited to stop by when we come back to Hawaii next time. My feet have evolved into a state that I can be proud of. I no longer wear flip flops with the fear of judgement from anyone.
