In October 2016 I had permanent upper and lower eyeliner done by Emmi. She advised me it would fade over time and from all the research I did prior to having the procedure done, I was able to confirm and verify that. However, almost five years later, it's darker, has smudged, migrated and is thicker on one eye. On May 3rd 2020, I contacted Emmi to express my concerns. She never responded. I have been using soft pink and flesh colored eyeliner makeup to cover it. After many consultations and research, I decided on laser removal. This was an incredibly painful procedure and left me swollen with black eyes and my eyelashes turned white and fell out. I'll know more in a few weeks whether I need another round of laser or if I can live with the residual. Two MD's who specialize in in cosmetic and laser procedures informed me most likely ink was used instead of pigment, which fades. Emmi is a very nice person with a gorgeous salon. I originally (2016) posted a rave review on Yelp because I loved my new eyeliner. I've since removed that review after realizing that after 4+ years, my eyeliner is not fading and isn't going to. I had a great experience while visiting Maui. I happened to lose my eye lash extensions while swimming in the ocean and out on some boating excursions. I booked an appointment here and got in the very next day. I got a full set of eye lash extensions, it took about 2 hours and cost about $120 give or take. She did such a great job. It's been 11 days since my appointment and I have only lost a few lashes! I'm so impressed. The salon was also very relaxing and decorated so beautifully. Highly recommend!!! read more

This is a nice little place and Emmi is very nice and seems like she takes pride in her work. I went here for eyelash extensions and the process was painful. The glue used was really strong and kept the extensions on for a really long time, but it's questionable if the glue is for eyes!? That could be a safety issue? I went in for 1 fill but decided to go elsewhere after because I felt like the lashes that was put on me was too heavy and clumpy. Sure enough, when I went to see a certified lash technician, they said it was clumpy and was too heavy for me. I'm not trying to bad mouth this place but beware.... read more

I have had eyelash extensions on and off for about 5 years. I have had good experiences and bad experiences in Maui and when I lived in San Diego. I am very picky because a poor job can end up looking like a tarantula hanging off your eyes. Found this place via Yelp reviews and I must say these are the longest lasting lashes I've ever had. Life changing experiece for me! Emmi is soft spoke, kind and yet will gently guide you in the proffessional and RIGHT way to do permanent makeup. She is not one to tell you want to hear, she doesn't need the business to lie and do a bad job just because that is what the custome WANTS. She tells you like it its, and I LOVE THAT. I have ALWAYS hated my lips, they have no shape and are on the thin side. Consequently, I have worn makeup and drawn my iips in PERFECTLY EVERY DAY numerous times a day for all my adult LIFE!!!!! Now Emmi helped me find the perfect cupids bow tatto just like I do it myself I dont CARE if my lipstick comes off because I have my lips on underneath!!! I actually go out of the house with just blush on now. Tuuuh Duuuh! For me this has been one of those things I wish I would have just done many many years ago.
