Ti is the best. She is kind, patient and humble. I've known her for over 20 years. I am so happy to find her again in kihei.

I hate to say this because I've been here many times. Friday I went for a pedicure with Steven. He was wonderful I left so happy. When I got home my toes were burning. I thought I was having a reaction to the lotion. I washed it up and realized I had been hurt by over buffing. It still burns after 2 days. I'm sad about all this... read more

Ocean Nail Spa - Nails - Nail Salons Near Me - Kihei, Hawaii

I always love getting my nails done at Ocean Nail Spa! The whole team is always so friendly, and they do such an amazing job.

Update: Steven reached out and offered to redo my nails, which was a very kind thing to do and certainly not necessary because he did a beautiful job originally and already spent an hour plus on my nails. I respect that he offered! Learn from me: If there's a stronger smell or different formula than you're used to experiencing, ask then. My mistake was thinking "hmmm, maybe this is some new form of gel?" and asking Google after. Original review: They do not do builder gel and won't tell you that. If you want acrylics, they do a fine job, but they will give you that instead of builder gel. I booked an appointment and asked if they could do builder gel over the phone. I was told yes. At the appointment I mentioned builder gel three times, despite that when the time came the artist dipped a brush into a very strongly odored liquid and then into a powder, which created a bead for my fill--classic acrylic. It was never communicated to me they don't do builder gel and I did not want acrylic. In addition to that I told them twice I have old gel x extensions on my nails, despite using acrylics they left the gel x there, which is a risky combo. If you want acrylic, your nails will look beautiful here. That's not my preferred nail and I would have appreciated honesty and transparency, esp because the mani and pedi was $168 including tip. read more

I've been going to Ocean nail spa off and on for several years and they have a friendly staff, convenient location and good services

I got the Hawaiian Mani-Pedi, and it was amazing! My nail artist Susan was great, totally matched my energy and we had a really nice conversation throughout. The service was A+, I had a sunburn on the tops of my feet and she was willing to modify parts of the service to accommodate, which I really appreciate. I am really happy with the results and I would love to come back in the future! read more

Very friendly artists, and fit three of us in even though they were busy. Since it was a large walk-in it took quite a bit of time to get through pedicures and manicures, but we felt like they had great attention to detail. Overall, a relaxing atmosphere and easy to find. read more

Very clean, friendly and professional technicians, quality service. I highly recommend.

12.03.23 - Sunday Made a reservation on Saturday to schedule a Pedicure with my besties who came to visit from Oahu. Called in advance to book an appointment for 4-pedicures; they were able to accommodate. Entered the location, they've been waiting for us. Variety of pedicure options given to a customer. We opted for the following, -Ocean Spa -Jelly Spa -Classic Depending on the person they wanted a longer massage which is about 20-mins was the max massage time. The chairs we get to sit in are amazing ! I've never experienced chairs like these before really - they recline all the way down, providing you with air massages & you have a slot to put your arms in. Employees here are very friendly & welcoming which we really liked. I can see myself coming back to this establishment since I've been trying to find a location since moving from Oahu. read more

I don't think I've ever felt so welcomed and accommodated at a nail salon. Came here on vacation needing to have my nails fixed for a special dinner. Not only did my nails look beautiful but my boyfriend was able to get his very first pedicure which he loved. Such a relaxing environment and friendly conversation. Will definitely be back! read more

My pictures don't do justice to how amazing my gel chrome mani pedi were! No bubbles, even application on my nail polish on such a translucent color, not thick polish, my ENTIRE nails were polished (my pet peeve is when my "blind side" of my nails are not done). I literally didn't have to say anything and this is how my amazing my nails turned out. They were so kind and quick! Clean and comfortable massaging chair was just a cherry on top of my experience! My ladies were absolutely amazing, I wish I knew their names ALL POSITIVE! read more

Stayed in Kihei for the first time and my daughter and I decided to treat ourselves to a pedicure. We were not familiar with any nail salons and there were many to choose from. We didn't make an appointment but was prepared to come back if we had to. Lucky for us, we were sat right away. The two technicians that helped us were very sweet and took great care of us. LOVED our pedicures and will definitely go back to this salon the next time we are in Maui. read more

Ocean Nail Spa - My nails !! - Nail Salons Near Me - Kihei, Hawaii

On vacation with my wife and we went to get pedicures. I have gotten very few pedicures in my life but I would definitely go here again. It was very gentle and relaxing. The employees were nice and gave recommendations of things to do around the island. I work a blue collar job and my dogs were barking when I arrived. And my feet feel nice and taken care of after. This place is great! Thank you Susan and John! read more

Friendly and professional service. They were able to take us in immediately without any appointments.

Ruby did an amazing full set for me! The salon was super clean and relaxing. Ruby made me laugh and I enjoyed my service!

The one male who works at Oceans really couldn't be bothered with good service. Also, they always try to overcharge, and massage? Forget about that! Doesn't matter how much you pay, you won't get more than a couple minutes ( a few seconds for your hands) of half-hearted "massage." It is almost like they have contempt for servicing people. In fact, during my manicure, the tech took a break to text on their cell phone. there are a lot of really great nail salons on Maui. If you want good service and the Massage that you pay for, you can skip this place. read more

Their nail technicianIt was my first time visiting this nail salon, and I was very disappointed. Not only are their services overpriced, but the nail technician seemed inexperienced. I had to repeatedly ask them to cut my nails straight, yet they still ended up crooked. On top of that, the sides of my toenails were not cleaned properly read more

Update! Holy cow the salon management is amazing!! They saw the negative experience I shared I followed up with me by sincerely apologizing and they issues me a FULL REFUND including what I paid for the tip! They explained that the nail tech who provided my services is a great manicurist and was just inexperienced with long acrylics. I anticipate she will stick to what she does best on shorter nails. Now THIS is great customer service. Ocean Nail Spa has proven that they really care about their customers and want to ensure a great experience. I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone. They care enough to respond to criticism and maintain integrity. Amazing!!! read more

COVID EDITION: Came here with a group of 5 prior to a wedding. They were appointment only at this point and besides seeing one other customer for about 15 minutes we really had the salon to ourselves. It felt so cool having the place to ourselves. I had only a pedicure done while most of the group did gel manis and pedicures. I feel like everyone was well taken care of and nobody felt rushed during any service. Oh and those massage chairs!! Love them!!!! Hoping my pedicure lasts for a bit but it's looking good so far after a weekend mostly barefooted and at the beach read more

They did a fabulous job on my nails. They were timely, kind and my nails look really great. They have a lot of color options, COVID barriers between the stalls and they do dip, shellac, and regular polish which is standard. The online booking and pricing was very accurate as far as their availability and pricing. So I definitely recommend using the website if you want to preplan your visit. It made my visit quite efficient. read more
