Some good, some bad, some great and many we wish we would never experience again. This letter is in regard to my latest visit to this business on 13May24. I am not sure if it is the Cherokee Lumber MGMT that is in charge of, or encourages the type of customer service you receive at their business, or if it is just the dregs that they dig up from the employee pool that is now commonplace in the world. If your life is good, your health is great, and the world could not be a better place for you, but you just want to experience something new. Well then, just go visit CHEROKEE LUMBER, they will, unwittingly help you achieve this goal. They will make your life feel meaningless, worthless and that there is no help for you at all. First, they will NEVER acknowledge you when you enter their door. When you finally get up to the counter, if you're lucky, you will get a "yeah" or "what do you want". And never ask where anything is because they will, at best, point you in the "hopefully" correct direction, but only after spewing some enlightening words like "it's over there somewhere" or "we don't carry it". Did they get off of their chair to help you? Not a chance! Also, don't try to start any conversation with them, because as soon as another employee walks up, you WILL be forgotten, and it may be a long time before they complete your transaction! I am not stating any of this from just one visit, but in my over thirty years of helping my clients, I have had the pleasure of experiencing this unpleasant service many times. Why you ask would I keep going back? Because I have hope, that one day things will change. There is a saying, that only an Idiot will keep doing the same thing over and over again expecting a different result, well, this Idiot just spent his last time gracing their doorway. If you choose to use this business in the future, I can only hope that just maybe the MGMT will have read my letter and make a few changes. Probably not, but one can dream.
