Ordered deep dish half and half pizza. Came home and opened box it was missing sauce. Every slice was also different shapes and sizes, as if they just cut up what leftovers they had and put it in the box. Pizza def wasn't cooked as a whole. Pizza dough wasn't fully cooked. One word: EXCEPTIONAL. I was honestly blown away by my entire experience here... We ordered spuds and a small cheese pizza. I was really wary ordering potatoes at a pizza place, but my fiance claimed they were to die for.. He was not lying! They are thinly sliced little circles of potatoes fried up.. Dipped in some ketchup and ranch and ooooh boy... Yummy. The pizza was great. The cheese was fresh and gooey and it was cooked perfectly. The service was truly the best part though. We were helped by two gals and I wish I had asked their names. They were personable, friendly and just genuinely seemed to be enjoying working with customers. That is rare to find in the food service industry so I noticed that right away. It was fairly busy for a Friday night and they were able to accommodate large groups. After seeing so many signs for Abby's up and down I-5 we finally looked to see if there was one near us. This place did not disappoint! The interior (and even the pizza) is sort of reminiscent of Round Table back in the day. When it was still, you know, good. The crust was perfectly crispy and not too thin or thick. We got the Abby's Special and it had the perfect amount and variety of "standard" pizza toppings. The ranch is tasty too! Really delicious pizza and reasonably priced. Reading some of the negative reviews, I can only conclude that they were meant for another business. read more

Ordered a deep dish pizza, they forgot to put the pizza sauce on it and the bread wasn't fully cooked. It was doughey tasting and dry. Probably one of the worse pizzas I've ever had. Ordered two pizzas a taco pizza and a Abby's combination. Had it delivered through a third party service. The taco pizza came without cheese lettuce and tomatoes. Crust was absolutely god awful. Called the restaurant to ask where the taco toppings were and they told me not there problem since I used a third party for delivery. Way to be accountable. I was excited when Abby's decided to come back to this side of the mountain. I love love love the philly steak pizza. Its covered in big pieces of steak, peppers and onions on a creamy garlic sauce. They have a lunch special you can get this in a personal size, with salad and a drink for under $7. I miss the Round Table on Burnside, but it has always been a toss up between them and Abby's. Abby's is always running some kind of special, as well. It never takes too long to get your pizza, even when they are pretty packed. The only bad thing I can say about them, is I miss the dark lighting lighting of the pizza joints, but that's really not a big deal, I'd rather eat a good pizza in the light than a questionable one in the dark. read more

If this was first time eating at Abby's I would not be going back. I was so excited to introduce my family to the usually amazing pizza, however I was so sad about what we received tonight. Our Hawaiian had no sauce, and no I didn't order it that way, the dough was overworked and tough and it was ice cold. Our other pizza wasn't cut and the crust was so heavy and soggy. I love this chain. Consistency throughout the NW! This is my absolute favorite place to order a Pepperoni pizza and will always get my business. Salad bars are usually clean and fresh. The pizza is a nice thin and crispy crust that holds loads of cheese, sauce and meat. My family enjoys the taco pizza as well!!! read more

Friendly staff? Yeah right, staff who has nothing to do but stare at you from the moment you walk in to the moment you order food. Then they all just stare and no one is making the food. Abby's has been a childhood favorite for years, and after moving far away from any known locations, I was delighted when my hubby surprised me by pointing out there was one in Gresham. I was a bit nervous to go back... Would it hold up to my childhood expectations? The term pizza is not enough to define what food is served at a Pizza place. Pizza can vary from thick, to thin, simple to gourmet. If you like a simple pizza with a cracker crust, zesty sauce, straight forward cheeses, and lots of toppings, you will love Abby's Pizza. I do. This particular Abby's has become a family favorite and our family with 25+ kids and adults have a great time, every time. I think their Hawiian special, pepperoni and Supreme are top notch. Yes, I love a really thin , really crispy crust ! Just the right amount of toppings so the crust can stay nice and crispy. ( would never say it is like pizza hut, now that is scant toppings.) I usually shop the monthly special and get mine to go. I had been looking for a sitdown pizza place and this spot had good reviews so I schlepped the family over to give it a try. The place is in serious need of a renovation. It smelled kind of like a bowling alley or roller rink. The old carpets and the smell put my wife on edge. The pizza was ok. The olives tasted a little sour but there was a ton of meat and the crust was ok. I couldn't taste the sauce through the generous toppings. The staff was fairly nice and helpful. I haven't been in since the reopening but wow. The ball was dropped. My crust was dry, my cheese was missing, and it was missing toppings from my Build your own order. We ordered 2 salads, 1 extra large pizza, and 3 small pizzas plus drinks, not a small order! I was also amazed that I could see cross contamination of meat and veggie pizza orders as I waited to collect my order. Isn't there a warning they could post?
