You can get items out of the market space to include drinks in food items to take home. I tried, salad, and meat pizza-all were fabulous and well flavored. Had a sandwich to go, probably would have been better in the restaurant, the bread was kind of difficult to eat later. Would return. Good food. Good prices. Parking can be tight.

I've heard constant praise of this spot so we came for lunch yesterday…read more The pizza is yummy. You can get a slice/individual size/family size. I went with a full size of Caesar salad, slice of pep and a Diet Coke and my partner got two slices of pep. I completely understand it was a very busy day for them (from the waitress's response to customers), but the wait was a bit unbearable. I got my Caesar salad relatively quickly but finished it with no pizza in sight. The Caesar salad was medium. We hoped because we got slices, that it would be fairly quick. We even asked the waitress how long a customized whole pizza would take and she said approx 30 mins. It took 30 mins to get our slices of pepperoni pizza... Now I understand the pep could have been out but a warning to say "hey it's busier than usual, our slices will also take a while to come out" would be nice. Others had their order taken before us despite arriving a few mins before them. It was chaotic. Almost all tables were full, so I get it. But I just wish there could have been communication. After 30 mins, I finally got up and asked her at the register, "any ETA on the Diet Coke and slices of pizza" to which she finally got me my drink and the slices of pizza followed. I'm not thrilled about waiting on something as simple as a canned soda. Would I visit again for a sit-down lunch? Maybe if I had extra time. Pizza is good and I don't think her service was poor. Just a little more communication would have been appreciated.

The outside esthetic is traditionally Abby's. We know their pizzas take about 25-30 minutes to prepare and bake, so we decided to order online, via their website, so it would be ready to eat when we arrived. We walked in and the interior screamed Abby's. They had the long tables with chairs and even a couple fireplaces. They also have a small arcade area. My husband really enjoyed seeing all the old photos on the walls. We walked up to the counter to get our pizza. The employees were friendly, helpful and accommodating. We let them know we were going to dine in, so they gave us plates and water cups. The pizza was exactly what we were hoping for...thin, crispy crust with just the right amount of fresh, delicious toppings. We ordered the giant (16") half Hawaiian, half Abby's Special for $45. Prices are a little high comparatively, but we love their pizzas so much, we don't mind paying a little more on occasion. If they were a little cheaper, we may come more often. I think they have coupons as well, so we may look for a coupon next time.

Apparently they've changed the meat supplier and the linguica on their pizza now is terrible. Hope they go back to the original asap or they've likely lost return customers. Not cool Abby's

First off, it's important to clarify that this is a hole-in-the-wall joint to pick up pizza to go,…read morenot a place to stay and eat it, leftover vinyl booth seats and one table-for-two notwithstanding. Carolyn W.'s generous review kind of suggests otherwise, at least the way I read it. I almost dragged my kids there, which would have been a mistake for us. With that out of the way, I'll say that the pizza itself was tasty, and the fact that the crust was both thin and soft proved compelling to the pizza connoisseurs waiting at our hotel for me to return. But the dreary setting (very sad strip mall), the cigarette smokers loitering outside, and the indifferent staff (no attempt to estimate how long our order would take) made hanging out at Boston Pizza mildly unpleasant. A side note: I have had half-and-half pizzas made before that use different sauces (it takes a bit of effort to spread the sauces on each half), but Boston Pizza will decline if you ask for it.

Attached to a sports bar and sporting some well-loved vinyl booth cushions, I can see how Boston Pizza might be a regular spot for residents of Fairview. They roll the pizza dough out right in front of you and do their best to give you a deal (12" for $10!). They pile on the cheese (my favorite part) and don't go overboard on the sauce. Very friendly and accommodating service. I think my Portlandy appearance may have weirded out the pizza guy, but he covered it well enough. Good spot for a Fairview pizza stop.
