The chicken was good but needed more char it was missing that grilled flavor. The Maccaroni salad was good and seemed fresh. But the rice was not up to par, it was very dry and seemed old, not good at all. So thus the 3 stars not great not horrible.

I asked because most of the photos on the menu show the shrimp with head, without head but all with shell on...I prefer not to fuss with peeling the just cooked hot shrimp. Then the drinks arrived and the entree's followed shortly there after Plain and simple three various taco's with some tasty refried & whole beans with your standard orange Spanish rice....hum. I guess it's a toss up on the rice, a unique almost Spanish rice with a flavor twist or the comfortable, household, everyday orange Spanish rice that won't scare anyone away. The taco's were great, fat with plenty of the larger shrimp (with no shell) cabbage and other stuff to fill the tortilla. I tried both the soy curls and the tofu, and although the tofu is my personal fav because of the spice and texture, both got a thumbs up from my meat-eating s/o. The side dishes were 10/10, and I crave it daily. I'm excited to see the future of this food truck station in general, but it is clear that Lulu's is a hot commodity there already.
