The restaurant is pretty nondescript and parking is very limited. I ordered the Hawaiian combo with Huli Huli chicken and teriyaki chicken. All meals come with rice and mac salad. The mac salad was really good. Like hmm 4.5 outta 5 stars. Both chicken dishes were just meh. The chicken alone had very little to no flavor all the flavor came from the sauce which wasn't anything special. The serving size was good but the flavor was lacking so I probably won't try them again.

It was $12 the man working was very nice and my food came in about 10 minutes. The order comes with teriyaki chicken, rice and Maccaroni salad. The serving size was ok. The chicken was good but needed more char it was missing that grilled flavor. The Maccaroni salad was good and seemed fresh. But the rice was not up to par, it was very dry and seemed old, not good at all. So thus the 3 stars not great not horrible.

The pork was hard as rock, flavorless, and honestly felt like it was fried twice and then put under a heat lamp. I ended up eating part of my husband's meal because there was just no way I could eat it. The second time we went I got the crispy Japolo chicken for myself and was very happy with my meal. I also ordered vegetables because Hawaiian food is always lacking on that front. To be honest, it was way too salty and I would have just been happy if they had cooked it without any salt, just steamed, but that's just me! I also tried their chocolate cake slice. It was okay. I would recommend eating here. I do like the food and am willing to try more dishes. I think I was just choosing the wrong options the first time round.

Everything, even the Kalua, was made to order. We got combo plates to start and we couldn't believe the portions, it could have easily lasted 2 to 3 meals (for a normal person, naturally we crushed it). Everything was fresh and delicious, and I have no idea what they put in their spicy aioli - but it is outstanding. Once I had a taste it was going on everything, especially the teriyaki chicken.
