Friendly people and good food. I work not to far away and this is a popular lunch spot during the week days, so I encourage to call your order in so you don't have to wait so long. The salad rolls are filled with tofu and veggies and very fresh. They come with 2 different kinds of dipping sauces. I like the peanut sauce with the salad rolls the best. They have a wide variety of stirfry with different veggies and sauces. I haven't tried them all yet but I am really digging the #32 with chicken and add extra veggies for a few bucks more. Medium spicy for me is perfect but a little too hot for others. So when ordering always remember you can add more spice but you can't take away. I didnt this time, but usually I order the crab puffs. Ordered some Chicken Pad Phet and Crab Cream Puffs and the were AMAZING! You won't be disappointed at all. Menu pretty well balance with some many goodies for those days when are in the mood for some Thai Food. The only thing I would say as constructive criticism, is the waiting time. It took close to 45 mins to get my order. Don't know if this is typical for this little joint since it was my first time there. I really love the service here at E-san food stall and the woman knows me pretty well now... as I come to eat here once a week and order the same thing; pad see ew w/ pork. It's so delicious compared to other stalls/carts/trucks. I usually eat the entire dish in one sitting, oops. It's that yummy. The woman taking your order knows my name and order by now! I highly recommend trying this place at the Gresham Food Carts and other items on the menu such as the Evil Prince which is a red curry. So we have ordered from here a handful of times and it's always hit or miss. When it is good, it is very good and we really like their food. However, lately it has been repeatedly not good. Last night we ordered food: pad Thai and a cashew nut stirfry. The stirfry was fine but the pad Thai, which I've had numerous times from there, was spoiled. It tasted like the noodles and the chicken were rotten and old. But by the time we got home and tried the food, the restaurant had closed for the night when I tried to call in the morning. The guy clearly had no idea what I was saying and he said since it was the night before there's nothing he can do. I even have the entire meal that was not eaten that I said I would bring back, but no. so I decided to let everybody else know Because it's frustrating when you pay as much as you do for food for it to be spoiled and end up with no dinner. Plus their prices have gone up significantly. they used to be way better but I guess we'll have to find a new Thai place because I'm getting tired of inconsistent food and poor customer service. read more

One of the best vegetable basil fried rice! Medium isn't too spicy whatsoever. The spring rolls is a must try. The peanut sauce given with the rolls harmonizes with the rolls perfectly! The portions are generous and this spot is my go to to satiate my fried rice cravings. I always stay craving it the next day! read more

If you want a bang for your buck when it comes to delicious Thai food- this is the joint. Got the pineapple fried rice medium heat and it wasn't extremely spicy, it was perfect. Got a great portion of tofu in my order and lots of pineapple! The Thai tea was a win for me because I can't stand when places fill it with 50% ice! Which was not the case here. Checked out the Gresham Food Cart pod on our way home from a long day of hiking on Mt. Hood. It was a Sunday night, around 6:30, and only 3 of the food carts were actually open - a little disappointing, considering it was prime dinner time - but E-San was one of the three, and we decided to try it. The menu is visual & on the outside of the food cart, so I actually pulled up their menu online to read what was in each item - it's not obvious from the photos. They were out of the garden rolls, but I ordered the papaya salad, medium, which was SUPER spicy. I like spicy food, but this was the kind of spice that made my tongue tingle and go numb and not appreciate any of my other food. Now I know better... mild next time. That isn't so much on them as it is on my apparent over-estimation of my spice tolerance, buuuut I also don't usually have that problem with papaya salad + medium heat. Also ordered the pad mamuang with tofu. The mango tasted fresh, the tofu was good (though not as generous as I would have hoped) and spice was fine (though, to be fair, my mouth was numb from the papaya salad). Big portions, a lot of rice, enough for two meals. One note, for those who care about this - they served everything in to-go plastic containers, in a plastic bag, with plastic utensils, and there was a LOT of waste. Especially since we just ate it in the food cart pod, it was disappointing to see how wasteful it was. read more

This food cart served me the best Pad Thai I've ever had. Normally when I get Pad Thai, it lacks enough flavor to make it worthwhile. I took a chance on this place and they delivered. Phenomenal tasting Pad Thai in a heaping portion. The ingredients tasted quality and the check out process was quick and easy - very friendly staff. Okay food. Asked for extra peanuts on my pad Thai and got none at all, and it was a little oddly flavored for a pad Thai. But my toddler really enjoyed it and it had a nice building heat. The potstickers were ok but quite bland. Really enjoyed their Thai tea though. read more
