We ordered Shrimp and Pork Wonton Noodle Soup and Beef Brisket Noodle Soup and Preserved Egg and Pork Congee with Chinese Donut. The food came out quickly. The Congee is so fulfilling. Lots of good ingredients to comfort the chill of the weather. Then our noodle soup came and everything was delicious. Big portions of shrimp and pork wontons. There was about six wontons in the soup. The beef brisket was delicious. Very flavorful and hearty. This is a must go for some good home cooked comfort noodle soup and congee. There are about 77 different types of wonton noodles soup and congee. Many different types of protein and you could definitely mix and match and share.

As you can see I have been coming back to Kenny's since 2018 ( a must stop-by when Im in Portland ), their quality has been slowly eroded over the years, noodles are not al dente at all, in fact it was way over cooked, same as the wontons ( the wrappings are falling off ). And the Beef Brisket & Tendons are almost unrecognizable ( check out my photos from before ). So much for looking forward each time when Im in Portland ... I have to finally say adios, farewell to Kenny!!

The waitress took us to a table with no place setting and did not ask if we wanted tea. She never came back. Staff with the cart comes over and just rattling off names of items on her cart. My cousin inquired about an item, she did not respond and looked at her funny. I order item my cousin wanted. Staff just mumbled and put dim sum on table. It's like they just want to unload their cart. She left and another staff came by. Before she starts. I said I cannot eat without utensils, plates, napkins and what about tea? She runs to get these items. I inquired about the tea, what is it? She goes it's red tea it's the only one they serve. By the time we finished, we asked to tally the bill. On staff member says go to the front and pay bill and get containers. I went up to get containers no one in front. Everyone busy setting up for 3PM. I flagged someone. She goes take whatever you need. There were stacked containers and cartons. Family went to pay bill and waited 10 minutes for someone to come to counter. Service is poor here. Minimal the very least. No one checks to see if you want anything. Would I come back. Probably not. As for the food, yes it's dim sum but nothing to rave about. The Shu Mai do not have shrimp. The bean curd wrapped in meat and veggies tasted a little off.

Make sure that you don't park at Tom's parking spot; they will tow you and put nasty stickers on your car.lol The good thing about Hawker station: What they have not changed is the love that they put into their dishes and you can taste it in every bite. I went over to get their Hamburger Week special from last year that they had on for just three days on their menu again. It is a delicious burger, Angus beef with crispy fried onion rings and a Hong Kong-style pepper sauce. Just every bite so delicious that it doesn't even need any cheese! Go and say hello to your new neighbors and or just drive from the other end of town to show them some love. Moving is always such a headache we all know that but for a food cart it literally about surviving so let's make sure hawkers station does that.

The rice was seasoned and on top there were lots of the green onion and ginger sauce. There were also 2 other sauces too, one was spicy chili and the other was soy sauce. The chicken was nice and tender but they shouldn't have poured the green onion and ginger sauce on top for customers because it was TOO SALTY! And it made a pretty big puddle of oil between and at the bottom of the rice bowl.

We came in cold and hungry and left full, happy, and already planning our next visit!…read more The staff was friendly and welcoming from the moment we walked in. We may have gone a little overboard ordering (okay... a lot overboard ), but no regrets because everything was delicious -- and the leftovers were just as good later! We started with the beef brisket soup and WOW. The broth was rich, flavorful, and warmed us right up. It hit the spot perfectly. For my little guy, we ordered the chicken bites and rice -- his absolute favorite -- and he cleaned his plate without hesitation. That's always a win! The pan-fried pork dumplings were juicy and packed with flavor. Perfectly soft on the outside and tender on the inside. So good. And of course, we couldn't resist the brisket plate... because honestly, who says no to more brisket? It was hearty, tender, and satisfying. The setup is simple and easy: you order from a self-checkout kiosk, grab a seat (there's window seating plus about four other tables), and the staff brings your food out to you. Smooth, quick, and convenient. Great food, friendly service, cozy vibe -- we'll definitely be back!
