Best decision to get my hair done here! Emily did my hair…read moreand she did an amazing job. I got the regular blow out, which comes with a hair wash and a blow out. I added on the bay breeze cause I have really tangly hair. The shampoo and bay breeze all smelled incredible, but not overwhelming. Emily asked what I wanted, really listened to me, and delivered beyond what I was expecting! This is great for people like me that aren't great with hair, but want to look effortless for events. The only thing I would recommend is that they update their number. Both on yelp and Google there is a number that is out of service. You have to go to the drybar website and under booking the phone number that does work is there. But you have to dig for it. 214-509-5872 is the number that will actually connect you with the front desk. Highly recommend if you are looking for an easy effortless style! They also do dry styling, braids, and other hair masks that I can't wait to try out!

Never coming back to the ALLEN location again!! I am a…read moreregular Dry Bar customer. I arrived at this location (ALLEN) for my Dry Styling service at 11:30 am on Saturday. My hair were completely DRY but somehow the stylist claimed they were wet. I was surprised that the stylist found completely dry hair as wet!! She said she will have to do full service for $59 with shampoo/conditioner OR reschedule to another date/time ( which is RIDICULOUS as I have to be ready now not on a later date/time) As much she was wrong I still agreed to pay $59. Then she said while I will pay for the $59 service, she will only give 30 mins and do the dry styling. This completely knocked me off as they asked me to pay for $59 but will only give $30 service. Cancelled my service and walked out. Not going there again. Other Dry bars treat their customers much better.

I found the M Salon on Groupon. I almost didn't get it because a Tami B wrote the first one-liner…read morereview saying they are rude - but then I read her other reviews and was all BAHAHA and bought it anyway. Thank the heavens I did! The bad: 1. They are short-staffed/over-booked. I don't know which is which. There were two women in the salon on a Wednesday night at 530pm - but there was a continuous supply of clients coming in. They are so busy that they don't have time to pick up phone calls. There is no receptionist. 2. They are cluttered. Maybe they are a new salon, but they have a ton of stuff EVERYWHERE. It makes me think of an HGTV hoarding episode. 3. Because they double book their time, they kind of have to swap out clients. Like while one is under the dryer, she would do a men's' cut. This isn't actually bad because, yes, you are busy baking under the dryer - but I feel like it makes the stylists a bit scatter-brained and not fully invested in one client. The good: 1. Even though they are busy, they are friendly. I'm not talking about fake friendly - because Asians don't do this. I'm talking about greeting and letting me know that they'll be right with me, etc. 2. The constant influx of clients? A lot are walk-ins! And they are WELL KNOWN in the community. Every other client is like, "oh hey Jane! You're still in that boot of yours!" I feel like they are well established and loved in the community. 3. Even though they are busy, they do things right. I had a Brazilian Blowout done and even though she squeezed a client in between, Mary Lu did a PHENOMENAL job. Every client that left their chairs is smiling. So this was the surprise of the year for salons. If it wasn't so far for me, I would adopt them as my regular salon - but it requires me to go with traffic after work. Otherwise, I highly recommend it and hope my review convinces others.

I recently moved to the area from out of state and needed a root touch-up asap. After reading…read morethrough some of the reviews for Hai Society, I decided to call and make an appointment with Rubi and wow, what a pleasant surprise. Rubi was a sweetheart considering I was a few minutes behind from being a little lost in the area (new resident!). She immediately greeted me with a smile and offered a beverage prior to our appointment, was a doll/extremely personable throughout, and was patient as I shared with her on which color I felt would work best for my touch up. I'll be sticking with her as my hair stylist/colorist go-to for such wonderful service, but my results turning out perfect was the cherry on the top! Thank you Rubi!

Aweful booking experience. Made an appointment request through the website - which doesn't confirm…read morean appointment. You still wait for someone to tell you if you're in. Communicated via text for over week responding to endless directions on the required $50 deposit via Venmo which I processed. Submitted photos as requested of current style and expectations. Completed the pre-arrival form. All this only to be asked to move my appointment to 3 other slots that don't work for people who work normal office hours. Salon cancelled my appointment, then says they can't Venmo me back my $50 deposit as only the owner has the account. Directed to call salon to process a credit card refund. Don't we all love the risk of giving businesses our credit card details over the phone? All this effort to have zero services executed. What a joke. Stay away.
