Great cuts, and hair styling. I've had 2 balayages with her and loved how they both turned out. She played some very relaxing music in my second one and provided a hair steamer treatment and space heater for my feet as the toner set. Highly recommend. Also enjoy the Kevin Murphy products she uses, which smell really nice.
Moi always does such a great job on my hair. She does an exceptional job every single time. I have full trust in her! That's not something I could ever say about the stylists I went to in the past.
I don't usually write reviews but Moi is so talented and wonderful! I explained to her my current hair situation (heavy, no movement or volume) and a rough idea of what I wanted (with just two reference pictures). And she completely transformed my hair! She started with washing my hair, and spent a lovely amount of time massaging my scalp. This was the best washing experience I've had at a salon. No dripping water on my face or nape! After she dried and cut the hair and answered any of my hair related question. She even went as far as showing me how to style it step by step! I left feeling so confident and knowledgeable about my hair. She is really on top of hair cut/color trends and it was refreshing talking to someone who knew what was in! She also doesn't push any products for you to buy because she doesn't sell any. Anything you do like she'll let you know the brand and how to use it. On top of that her pricing is amazing for everything you get and her sweet customer service! I highly recommend trusting your hair with her!
Just moved back to the area and absolutely LOVE my cut and style by Moi. It's exactly what I wanted! 4" cut with long layers and curtain bangs! Love it! Moi was also very personable and easy to talk to. I've been to stylist where it's an awkward challenge to chat. It was the opposite with Moi. Conversation just flowed naturally. Very talented stylist and such great personality! I'll definitely be back. Thanks, Moi! Grateful to have found you!!
Moi is the BEST there is if you have delicate/brittle or errant/hard to manage hair. It's a blessing to have someone like her in Dallas! I've had more than my fair share of hair experts/stylists and no one has managed to give me hair that I'm happy with as I walk out of the salon and still do days later. I normally get abnormal fallout or a frizzy mess or the bangs aren't looking right a few days after a hair appointment. With her, no issues!!! The search is finally over. She's also quite knowledgeable in her craft and willing to share what she knows. I appreciate the clarification and tips I got from her. They help keep my hair healthy and looking the way I want it to.
Been looking for a new hair dresser in DFW since I moved here and so glad I've found Moi!! She's very knowledgeable and doesn't seem to force me to do anything that I don't want. My hair has been falling out like CRAZY the past month and I started freaking out, taking biotin and collagen. I came in for a color consultation (my hair is a faded blue/silver) and hair trim because I chopped off a chunk of it while trying to brush my knot out. It was bad! Wanted to keep my long length since I have a wedding to go to in about 2 months. She wanted to really see why my hair was falling and took the time to examine it while washing my hair. With her knowledge she didn't suggest I color my hair yet until another couple months when we really find the root cause to my hair lose. She definitely influenced me to cut off the dead bleached hair (a good 8 inches) and I do not regret it. It feels so refreshing and so healthy now!! Will be back in couple months for another trim!! Best haircut I've gotten in my life! This is the first time I walked out of the salon with what I asked for. My hair is really thick and dense so I was really worried about the blending and layers but My layers are very well blended and Mo was extremely helpful and she showed me how to style my hair. She also recommended me a styling product and she let me take a picture of it and said I could get it anywhere else and it didn't feel like she was just out to get my money. I'm definitely coming back
I'm already missing Moi .. since she's in Texas now.. before when she worked in California I would go to her every time; I even introduced to her to my friends and my Mom. I felt she was my friend/confidante/family. She would take care of your hair and knows what is best. In the past I dyed my hair with her 3 times. Very dramatic colors that I would never think I will get. But when I came back another time to cut and possibly dye my hair; she stopped me from doing more damage since it was a lot of dye in the past. The first time I had it bleached blonde, 2nd time I had it an purple/blue ombré, 3rd time was straight purple with a possible pink color. I thanked her for that since I'm not as educated on what is best for my hair. Love how she cuts hair as well... and having my talks with her. To all Texans, take care of Moi ~ she is the greatest and loves what she does. I hope to see you another time Moi! Miss you already!

I found Moi while doing a Yelp search for hairstylists with experience cutting and coloring thick hair. I've lived in Dallas for over 20 years and was looking for someone to help me reach my goal of having long, healthy hair and the reviews for Moi were spot on- I booked an appointment ASAP. Moi is from LA and it shows! She's knowledgeable about hair health and her cutting technique is phenomenal. She took my damaged, stringy, uneven layered hair and transformed it into a manageable, bouncy, healthy looking style. Best of all, she won't push products on you and only recommends what you will truly need to maintain your hair. She's the only one who has managed to get me to come in for regular 3 month trims lol, so I'm a client for life. Moi, Dallas is glad to have you!!

This review is long overdue! I've been going to Moi for my hair needs for 4 years now. My sister who recommended me to Moi has been going to her for 7 years. She also takes care of my mom's hair. If I hadn't moved away from LA, she would've been taking care of my hair for much longer. Moi is a absolute sweetheart! Not only is she a gem but she's an amazing hair stylist. She knows all different types of hair and how to work with difficult/stubborn hair. She styles it exactly how you want it and let's you know what she thinks is best for your hair type. Moi is the type of stylist where you can bring in a photo and she's like "Boom! Done!" I always always always go with her recommendations! She pushes you passed your comfort zone and you're so glad you did because Moi has you feeling like a million dollars! My family goes to Moi for all your hair needs. From scalp treatments, to color, to cuts! Look no further because Moi does it all! You've seriously found the most amazing woman to take care of your hair for the rest of your hair needs! I really loved Moi's work. This was my first hair color experience and i would not have asked for anything more than this. She was really sweet and made me feel comfortable .She suggested what was best for me and my hair, the products to use.Very knowledgeable and gentle. I have really fine hair but She took her time and really enjoyed her work. I would definitely recommend her. read more

Moi is an exceptionally talented hairstylist. Dealing with my thinning, fine hair has always been a problem, but she cuts and styles it to the best it could be. Visiting with her is a great added bonus. I feel lucky to have found her. read more

I had my hair cut done by Moi today. She was very nice and paid attention to my hair. Her style is definitely different than other hair dressers. I love how she did my layers! My hair came out great! Now my hair feels super light and healthy. After my hair cut, she kept saying how nice the hair cut was and how cute i was looking which made me smile big. The salon is clean and she wore mask during the hair cut session. I will definitely come back next time when I need a hair cut! If you are in town, I highly recommend you to give it a try ! read more

Two stars because of location and Moi being such a nice person but the results... I used to come to Moi for haircuts, then I decided to make a change and dye my hair. I regretted getting my dye here. I liked Moi's dedication by offering an 8am appointment (before her salon opened). However, my appointment took about 6 hours, and I didn't get what I wanted. I remember my appointment, she handed me a book of colors. Mind you, I'm not a stylist and I don't know much about "levels", but I remember I pointed at a shade of red I wanted but I think Moi took it for the level it was... I didn't know until my hair was already dyed. I also sat through 6 hours at that point, there's no way I would've sat longer for it to be fixed. People did comment and say they liked my hair, or they were just saying it to be nice, I don't know. Needless to say, I found another salon for cheaper prices and better results. read more
I went in not expecting too much because the last few times I've done an ombre it didn't turn out too well. I went onto yelp to find a decent place for an ombre and thus came along Fabulous Cuts. Originally I went for a consultation but the staff was very friendly and when I showed them a picture of how I wanted the ombre to be like they said that was very possible and told me the price straight up. Other places I've gone too have told me starting prices but it may go up depending on if they run out of solution for my hair or etc. since I have long hair. However I was not charged extra when the solution ran out. The price at the end was what was said in the beginning which was $250. I know it sounds expensive but it was so worth it. Roxy(?) Im pretty sure this is her name if I heard correctly was very very gentle with my hair. She noticed my hair was already pretty thin and fragile and was very gentle with it. The ombre took about 4-5 hours which was expected. She was constantly asking if I was okay if I needed anything since it was such a long process. When it came time to do the toning part she asked to see the picture once again and Moi and her both ACTUALLY LOOKED AT THE PICTURE FOR A WHILE then decided to ton my hair with 2 different toners to get the color I wanted. My hair came out amazing in the end and I can't wait to go back for touch ups next time! Basically if you're looking for one heck of an ombre look no further because they do such an amazing job with such attention to detail it amazes me. read more
I'm extremely sad that Moi has moved to Texas after being my only stylist for so many years. When she announced that she's reopened I actually checked to see how long it would take for me to go to Texas, because she's worth it. She's helped me achieve every single color I have ever wanted and more. Even after she's moved, she's tried to find another stylist to replace her for me. If that isn't the best caring stylist in the world, I don't believe you. She has the nicest paint job, and I've never been disappointed! read more
