What I went in with and what I was left with were two completely different things, and the damage has required significant time, money, and effort to try to correct. What has been even more upsetting is seeing other people come forward with similar concerns about damage to their hair. I brought my concerns to the salon owner, Natalie, hoping she would take the situation seriously and work toward a reasonable resolution. Instead, in my experience, there has been a complete lack of accountability for what happened. I have felt dismissed rather than supported as a paying client whose hair was damaged by a service performed at her salon. I understand that not every service turns out perfectly, but there is a major difference between an imperfect result and significant hair damage. Mistakes can happen--the way a business responds afterward says a lot. I wish Natalie had acknowledged what happened, taken responsibility for the salon's role, and made a genuine effort to resolve the situation. I would strongly encourage anyone considering this salon to do their research, ask detailed questions about the health and integrity of their hair before allowing chemical services, and document their hair before and after their appointment. I would never want another person to experience the damage and frustration I have experienced.

Swish is a Frisco based hair salon which highlights the talent and expertise of a fantastic staff. The salon is highlighted by owner Kerry Parish-Campbell, whom is a Redken Artist, as are two other ladies who work here. The team demonstrates up to date knowledge of product and techniques, and not only continue to take classes but teach them. In addition to their knowledge of all things Redken, they have recently introduced Hairdreams hair extensions to their talents. I've had my extensions for the months now and absolutely love them! I can't say enough about the professionalism and expertise within this salon! read more

Beginning with the salon itself, it is so cute, comfortable, and has none of the intimidation I've felt from other places. All of the staff is very inviting when you enter, and I was lucky to have Jenna as my stylist. She did an incredible job, especially considering the little instruction to go off of! I tasked her with helping me find confidence in my hair, and she did just that. I will be a regular here, and I would 100% recommend Swish Salon to anyone for their hair needs. read more

Shelby showed me a color idea -- a rich, darker chocolate brown -- and I trusted her recommendation. However, the end result was nothing like what was discussed. My hair came out much lighter, with noticeable yellow and orange tones, and several areas where my grays were still visible. I left feeling really upset and had to find another salon to fix the color. Based on this experience, I wouldn't recommend Shelby for coloring services, though she does a great job with haircuts and styling. I hope this feedback helps improve consistency and communication for future clients.

I like to leave a negative review, but this was the worst haircut I've had in 10 years, and that's…read morehard to say about a high-end salon. I gave Von Anthony three visits. The first was with Shannon, who was personable and attentive, but I felt uneasy in his chair, so I decided to give another stylist a shot. I called and they suggested Zin (Malintzin Mosqueda), who did my second and third cuts. The second was okay, though she textured the back in a way that left it standing up after a couple of weeks. I have a lot of cowlicks, so I figured we'd dial it in over time. On the third visit I mentioned I didn't love how the previous cut grew out, hoping we could work toward something better. Instead the visit went downhill. I was handed off to a less experienced stylist for the wash, who soaked my shirt and got water in my ears. During the cut I ended up with hair all over my face and down my back. When Zin said she was finished, the cut was frizzy and visibly uneven. I asked her to fix it, and she then took off a noticeable amount she'd left on the first pass, which told me the initial cut just wasn't done well. I have simple hair. Most stylists can make it look good for a week or two, and the good ones make the grow-out look clean. This grew out poorly within a week, with hair creeping around the ears that normally takes three weeks to reach that length, the back standing up, and the front lopsided. The salon does a lot right. The ambiance, the tea, the hosts, and the easy scheduling are all genuinely nice. But the core product is the haircut, and the quality was inconsistent and ultimately disappointing. After a 20% tip you're paying $90 to $100 for a men's short cut, and the result didn't come close to justifying that. I won't be back.
