The technician came out and said that replacing the coil was NOT possible. You can NOT buy just a coil, and the whole system needs to be replaced, costing close to $1000. My husband told him that it wasn't happening because the door was only $400. The guy got hot and argued, leaving the conversation with "We're all freaking broke." As if that would persuade my husband to buy his services. He then sat in his truck on the phone for maybe 10 minutes, like he was trying to come up with something to sell us. My son then ran to Menards, found a replacement coil for $60, and fixed it for us. The door works great now... $60, not $1000! This company is a bunch of scammers looking to rip off people. Go anywhere else! UPDATE: When we reviewed this place, a guy from the company started texting my husband. He said he would refund the service fee and adjust our door for "free" if we would take down our negative reviews. Now it's clear why there are no negative reviews. Does it sound like a scam to you!? I know the price went up but a few years ago when people quote me a similar job say $300 and that's the final price. Just be aware about it before you rejecting others with quotes higher than $299. $299 seems like a good price but people use it to trick you into rejecting other honest businesses. The tech also put a sticker on the wall said 24/7 Garage Door Experts. So, I really don't know which one is their real name. Just be aware!
