A company that has an actual listed local physical location. 3. A company that is listed as an authorized installer by the manufacturer. 4. Very good customer reviews. 5. A detailed quote that enumerated the cost of each part should it have to be replaced. 6. I was texted the ETA of the repair person along with his photo. 7. ETA and cost was as quoted. 8. The repair person did not try to upsale me more than what was need to do the repair. I was so satisfied I asked them to also replace the torsion spring of my other garage door as preventive maintenance since both doors probably had been installed at the same time.

He totally updated my key lock situation. I now only need one control key to open all of the doors, and my tenants each have their own key. Instead of replacing all the windows around the house like all the window selling people are telling us, Rob offered to fix the windows for a much better pricing. We are so happy with the result we asked them to remodel our three bathrooms. Again, their quote was better than the other 8 companies we compared with. Their timing and flexibility was better as well! Throughout the process of bathroom remodeling, they were extremely helpful, accommodating and easy to work with. From picking tiles and helping us with the pickup (usually pretty expensive), to going out of their ways to seal cracks for us on the wall and hanging paintings for my mom. They even offered to walk my dog when they were working with us. They are excellent at what they do. See images for the before and after of the bathrooms. We love our 3 bathrooms now. They were able to accommodate everything we asked them too. Including changing old electric outlets, adding a shower in the guest bathroom, and switching the vent to a heated vent. They even helped to fix my kitchen sink that a plumber failed after trying for 3 days! They are also honest people. I did notice a cracked window and Rob immediately ordered a new one and covered the cost. So they do honor their warranty on their work. They gave me several options that were available in that opening size, next I selected the one with a wood casement interior. The replacement was done with perfection. I reached out to a number of companies, but Mike spent the most time with me on the phone, talked through all options, which one he thought was the best one and why. He wasn't the cheapest quote, but the slider he recommended was the highest quality out of all the other quotes, and with something I use multiple times a day, it seemed worth the investment. While the slider itself is amazing, the best part of the investment was the attention to detail and care Mike had for install- I have a 1920s home with original wood trim work, but in the addition where the slider is located, they put up standard white 80s trim. My plan has been to transition the addition over to the same feel as the rest of the house, so Mike custom stained the one I ordered to match what was already in the house, then took the time to trim it out in the same Craftsman style for a cohesive look. Install day was super easy, the team made sure everything stayed clean, and dealt with some surprises and challenges with the uneven walls of an old home. This is someone you can trust and will make sure they care for your own home like it's their own. When it's time for new windows, I'll absolutely have them come back out.

Had Mike come out to cover up a window…read more Honestly the thought of getting rid of a window never crossed my mind and we initially thought we would would move our window from one wall to another to open up the living room space since we have a living room layout that is a bit awkward. He came in with the idea of just covering up the window (especially since a window can be installed later if we wanted). Instead of making it a bigger profit job he focused on what is best for the layout even if it meant the job was smaller. The conversations with Mike have been very thought provoking and really made me focus on what is best for us rather than him just doing what I thought we wanted. We asked about a skylight for the bathroom since both our bathrooms don't have windows and he said he wouldn't as its the number one cause of leaks so he once again showed that he cared to make sure we are after peace of mind. So we ended up just covering up one window to move our entertainment center. He hired a drywall contractor (one with 42 years of experience) to make sure the wall looked seamless. Mike said you can do most of the job yourself pretty easy but the Dry Wall part is a work of art and it showed. I had a unique idea that since this was an exterior wall I wanted to build a PVC shoot for cabling for future proofing a TV hanging on the wall in case we had to change cables. The drywall contractor made it look so clean. Initially it was a 1 day drywall job but because it was cold the mud wouldn't set in time so they came back the following day to make sure it was done right. Truly couldn't be happier with the quality of labor. Mike's scheduling might be a little random at times but rest assured the quality is superb.

They claimed they couldn't install it because I was "missing a wire," then went to Home Depot and bought a cheap basic fan instead -- which I paid for. The install included venting outside the house and cost way more than it should have, but I let it go because I just wanted proper air circulation. Fast forward to August 2025 -- the fan completely stopped working. It no longer pulls air at all. I contacted them to ask about warranty on their installation. It is now January 2026 and they have never responded. Expensive install. Low-quality results. Zero accountability. Once they get paid, don't expect them to stand behind their work. Would not recommend.

I am blown away by the honesty and integrity of Wallside Windows! We had multiple broken seals and…read moresome faulty hardware so I called Wallside for an estimate on new windows. Wallside had records that a previous owner had replaced all the windows in our house in 2005 and THEY WERE STILL UNDER WARRANTY! 35 year warranty! I was transferred to the warranty dept and scheduled an inspection date only 3 weeks later. After inspection, they ordered 11 window panes, 2 new window casings and some misc. hardware. A few weeks later, Steve came out and replaced everything in less than 2 hours. Steve was awesome!! I can't believe how much nicer our home looks without the broken window seals & being able to see clearly through the new glass. Any future windows we need for this home or homes in the future will be done by Wallside. I can't say enough about how thrilled we are with this company!! The whole thing cost us $0 !!!

We had five windows replaced. One of window is over a staircase on the west side of the home. It's…read morethe only window on that side of the home and we live on a cal-de-sac. It's not the direction in which we pass to see it. The windows were installed in October while my father-in-law was in Hospice. Admittedly, it was not our biggest priority to scrutinize the craftsmanship and quality of the install. In March, I discovered exposed wood, unprimed, I was not aware they installed. I looked at the install directions and it clearly says primed. I called and they were able to send somebody out April 9. The person they sent out, said he would note the problems, including one of the boards that clearly also should have been replaced and I would hear from someone within two at the latest three weeks. Today is May 7, and I had not heard from anyone from Wallside. I called and spoke with a customer representative who pulled up the order and said let me speak to a supervisor. She came back and indicated the primed was referencing the interior boards and not the exterior boards and the only place those if necessary. They were clearly in need of replacement when the order was placed. I noted if that were the case, at minimum, they should have noted they had to replace the boards on the outside and that they were not primed so we could've had someone address the matter before leaving the wood exposed the entire winter season. Her response was the sales person should have gone over this. She noted he wrote in one the contract the stops on the inside are primed, but may not match the existing interior, if available. There is nothing I can find specifically in the contract addressing the exterior boards. A reasonable person would assume a window company replacing windows would replace rotted around the window as it part of the structure integrity of the window and sill. The demeanor of the company representative was dismissive and defensive. The first time I called, I was told the supervisor was in a meeting and that they would have to get back to me. They did not, and I called the second time before they sent someone else to make the assessment. I would highly recommend that you consider looking at other companies before using Wallside Windows.
