Posted on their site shows they do double layer roofing. I don't like being conned. I believed rep as being trustworthy. I did have an option but it wasn't given to me. I called roofing due to possible leak in upstairs back bedroom.

So we knew that we needed to invest in windows in our home. It felt very overwhelming trying to find which window company to go with. We had the super expensive Anderson windows come out and well, that company was not for us. Our budget for windows couldn't even cover two rooms of new windows let alone the whole house of windows. So we heard good things about WeatherGard and called to have a representative come out to the home to give us a quote. so happy that we did! The representative came out to our home and was not pushy and not typical sales person. We got to see their products and were impressed with the middle of the road type windows that they had. Not cheap like other companies but also not crazy expensive like the other company I mentioned. Our quote and job was huge! Replace two door walls, put in a bay window and replace all the other windows in the home. The price for the job included cleaning up and disposing of our old windows. We also got a discount for putting a yard sign in front of our house for advertising. Financing was available and it was through Michigan saves. The whole process couldn't have been easier. The only thing I would've changed is not replacing our windows in the dead of winter. But other than that the crew that came were professional and clean. Since getting windows a couple years ago our energy bill has gone down drastically. We noticed a difference right away with not having to use as much heat or air conditioning because the windows were still energy efficient. I'd recommend WeatherGard again and again!

Only after I asked to speak with a supervisor and repeatedly emphasized that this was a three-day-old installation involving an exterior door that could not be secured did they arrange for someone to come the next day. The windows were also left with noticeable smudges, grime, and adhesive residue that I had to clean myself. I also received no useful walkthrough on how to remove the sliding sash for exterior cleaning. I appreciate that they eventually scheduled a next-day visit, but I should not have had to push multiple times for a basic security problem on a brand-new installation to be treated urgently. At this point, my overall experience is about 6/10, pending whether the service visit actually resolves the problem. Update: Wallside sent someone out next day to address all my issues. I've changed my rating to 5/5. Thank you.

The communication and scheduling was lacking, so we were a little frustrated, but it didn't prepare us for the ordeal we were going to be dealing with. We live in an old house, 1920's. My husband expressed this many times, that appropriate measures would have to be taken as we had lead in our old windows and trim. I heard him over the phone as well as in person and he was assured they would take the steps necessary. The day the windows were to be replaced, my kids and I left the house. Two windows were in our daughters room, the other in our guest bedroom. One window was oriented the wrong way and still installed. The worst part was, after removing the old windows, the workers took leaf blowers out to blow debris out into the yard below and all over the rooms. My husband ran upstairs and yelled at them to stop, that once again, there was lead paint involved. They stopped and cleaned up, but not well enough. My husband wiped everything down afterwards, not trusting it was cleaned properly. A few months later, my daughter received test results showing elevated levels of lead in her blood. It was quick and not a single other person in our family had any detectable levels. I was livid. I'm still livid. I don't care that one of our windows is wrong or that it took forever to arrange communication. I'm livid that lead safe practices weren't followed as promised and my child had to pay for it. You can't put a price on that. Thankfully, she's grown, and the situation is under control now, but if you have an old house, I would absolutely not recommend this company. To the owner, if your business gives homeowners your word that things will be done safely and following safe standards, you need to follow through. Safety should be top priority. This could have had a very poor outcome.

The supplies (13 windows and a house full of siding) were dropped off in the middle of my driveway during a snowstorm. The 1 man doing all of the work by himself didn't show up for days. My husband had to move 13 windows and boxes of siding by himself in the snow because my car was trapped inside my garage by the supplies. I had to call multiple times to see if anyone was actually coming to do the work while the supplies were sitting out in the snow. Very long story short - the work finally was completed around the end of January 2023 and at that time, everything APPEARED to be fine. The first piece of siding fell off in March 2023. I had to call three different times and was given the run around each time. I finally had to pay someone to come put it back up. The second piece fell a month later - of course this company doesn't answer my calls now, so once again I had to pay someone else to come put it back up. Apparently the 1 person doing all of the work by himself cut the siding tops too short and that's why it isn't staying up??? Now, its March 2024 and ANOTHER piece fell off from above my garage AND the rest of it is now WAVY! I wish I would have just gone with Mays Contruction like I was going to originally, they were cheaper but because I met Clear Vision Windows & Siding at a local Home & Garden Show & they came to my house with a whole set up and very thorough sales pitch, I THOUGHT they would be a better choice - boy was I wrong.

We've had Dynamic Drains out three times in the span of a couple of weeks (when it rains it pours,…read moreright?) and they were great each time! First visit: our 100+ year old home has been dishwasherless since we moved in 13 years ago (mo one made the move to install one before us and we kept putting it off until this year). Years ago we had had some drains and lines replaced and asked the previous plumbers we hired for that job to get it ready for dishwasher, too. So we always thought it was ready to go once we picked one out. Came to find, day of delivery, that they did NOT do this, so we had to call someone to come do it. Enter Dynamic Drains. We were able to secure an appointment quickly and when they arrived they were friendly and professional, installing a beautiful new water line to feed our new, dormant dishwasher the freshwater it craved. The dishwasher needed a bit of finessing into the space we had carved out so they didn't hook that part up, but the line looked and worked great. Eventually we had a handyman come and do the rest and it's been working beautifully since. SECOND VISIT: The soup incident. Some leftover soup was dumped into the sink and caused a clog. Enter Dynamic Drains, just a few weeks later, with a snake to clean it out. The technician then (Chris I believe was his name) was really friendly, kind, and diligent. He ran several sinkfuls of water through the snaked drain to make sure it was going as it should and it went downstairs to make sure there were no leaks or drips. After the drain was moving again we also realized that our disposal was dead. Not sure if that's why the soup clogged or if the clog killed it but either way... VISIT THREE: Tech couldn't fix the disposal since we didn't have a replacement and he didn't quite have time in his schedule to get us in in that moment. All good, didn't expect that! Amazingly right after he left my husband saw a great disposal on sale at Costco and he snatched it up. Called Dynamic Drains to schedule a follow up and they said they could come a few days later. Great! THEN, about an hour later, another plumber called and said they had some time in their schedule and could come by then. I was out at the time but my husband navigated that with them and by the time I got home we had a new, purring garbage disposal properly installed. And since it was considered same day they waived the additional appointment fees. YES! We still have a few other things we need done, new faucets in the kitchen and bathroom in particular, and luckily Dynamic Drains does that (and then some!) too. We'll definitely be calling them for that follow up as soon as time allows! Highly, highly, HIGHLY recommend!

My pre-existing door had been DIY-ed by the previous home owner and didn't open the correct direction, didn't seal correctly, and the door frame was not the standard size. Having it updated by a professional was well worth it. My only guidance for the owner Mike was a request for a sturdier, more secure entry door and I couldn't have been happier with the end result. DreamMaker originally did a nice job in gutting out my old bathroom in my bedroom and remodeling it…read morecompletely. Problems started when I had a leak at the base of my shower on the side with the shower arm and controls. The leak went into the basement and through the wall which caused massive damage to my brand new closet system in my walk in closet and the floor in there on the other side of the wall from the shower. I was left with over $5,000 in damages. I couldn't file an insurance claim really. I have renters that share my home with me and I had to evict a renter for severe damage to my basement and the basement bedroom he was living in. Due to the amount of damage we had to split it into 4 claims. So they told me if I filed another claim, I wouldn't be able to file anymore for 7 years. DreamMaker did agree to fix the problems but they told me it would take a few months because there was a back log on acquiring materials. They came out and caulked the area where the leak was because I had company coming and I needed the shower operational. It was my understanding that the temporary fix was good until they were able to repair it permanently. I was fine with that. A few months went by and there was no follow up from them at all. I sent an e-mail and 3 days went by so I contacted a lawyer to send them my intent to go to court. When I called for their fax number and the employee at DreamMaker realized what I was doing, they suddenly became very responsive. However, I had another representative call and say to me, we did everything we said we were going to do on the appropriate time schedule. You weren't supposed to be using the shower anyway. I felt like they were victim blaming and shaming me. If they somehow thought that would win my business again, then I don't know what the hell they were thinking. So the bathroom originally looked nice, but they're working on it right now and they tore out the shower and the tile floor they just put in. I know mistakes happen, but given the leak, the victim blaming and shaming, the lack of follow up, and their lack of concern for how much I pad out in damages, I cannot recommend them to anyone.

Their work is high quality, they are super knowledgeable, their pricing & estimates are fair and competitive, they communicate very well, and they take great pride in their work. We had severely damaged fascia and decking, very poor attic circulation, bad gutter layout, and aging shingles. They came up with a plan that worked and as new underlying damage was discovered, they kept us well-informed of our options. Each day, they cleaned up the site very well and took great care to not damage anything on our house or gardens. I am so happy with the end result: expert carpentry, expert roofing, effective/efficient attic ventilation, and great gutter replacement! I highly recommend AH Construction.
