This past Tuesday installers came out to replace my 6 windows. They tried my half bathroom and discovered, new window doesn't fit. New window was too small. Contacted salesman, Mark who advised us they have to re make new windows. Was given date of November 2nd for second try. I already have a cold and it's getting colder. Not happy with this. I've used Wallside Windows in two of my homes. Both times I had a great experience. The pricing was very competitive, and the Windows made a big improvement in the comfort and efficiency of my home. The installers were very professional and did not waste time getting Wright to work once they arrived. The first house they did for me had over 20 windows and they completed the installation in less than a full day. When they left, they cleaned everything up and took the old windows away. About 10 years later I used Wallside again and had very much the same kind of experience. It was all good. I had Wallside Windows come out and install six windows in my kitchen three large and three smaller . The day after they installed it I got up in the morning and my windows were foggy called up the company they said somebody would get back with me I even sent them pictures he told me he would talk to the service manager and get back with me well so far nobody has gotten back with me I sent him more pictures and he apologized for the delay but still no one's getting back with me and they end up charging my credit card $8,000 for what they did without me knowing or asking me that they were going to run it but they still have not got back with me I advise anyone to read their reviews and talk to other people's they had a reasonable price on the windows I could have chose from couple different companies the pricing was very close but I'm regretting having Wallside Windows doing it with their customer service the way it is they should not even be in business read more

Wallside Windows are cheap they work after about a year and a half and they've been taking money from the Black neighborhoods and have not invested in them Arrow in addition they have forged a check of mine in the past we tried to settle and I got absolutely nothing from them after they offered me a home full of windows for their forgery. just had three windows put in and I can no longer put my blind up because they install them on your seal ,not in the window pocket !!!! the caulk is so thick it's embarrassing to know a professional did the work !! the trim the windows 2 different ways when they are right next to each other smh I can't only see 3/4 of the window frame they hide the contour you think your getting , you don't see none of it !! I had new windows and a door wall installed on Friday. By Monday, I discovered that the brand-new exterior door wall would not lock properly. When I called for service, I was initially offered an appointment in early August. After I objected, I was offered July 23. Only after I asked to speak with a supervisor and repeatedly emphasized that this was a three-day-old installation involving an exterior door that could not be secured did they arrange for someone to come the next day. The windows were also left with noticeable smudges, grime, and adhesive residue that I had to clean myself. I also received no useful walkthrough on how to remove the sliding sash for exterior cleaning. I appreciate that they eventually scheduled a next-day visit, but I should not have had to push multiple times for a basic security problem on a brand-new installation to be treated urgently. At this point, my overall experience is about 6/10, pending whether the service visit actually resolves the problem. Update: Wallside sent someone out next day to address all my issues. The sales guy was very straight forward about what I was going to get, the cost, type features and time of installation. He was friendly and kind. He gave me a great cost for 10 windows. They kept me updated about the install date and the installer called before they came. They were friendly and professional. They put down covers to protect the floor. The install was completed the same day which is a plus. The only issue was that my bushes in the front were somewhat damaged. They did clean up the areas inside and out. The windows look great. I even had a neighbor come over to compliment the look. Overall it was a great experience. read more

We had five windows replaced. One of window is over a staircase on the west side of the home. It's the only window on that side of the home and we live on a cal-de-sac. It's not the direction in which we pass to see it. The windows were installed in October while my father-in-law was in Hospice. Admittedly, it was not our biggest priority to scrutinize the craftsmanship and quality of the install. In March, I discovered exposed wood, unprimed, I was not aware they installed. I looked at the install directions and it clearly says primed. I called and they were able to send somebody out April 9. The person they sent out, said he would note the problems, including one of the boards that clearly also should have been replaced and I would hear from someone within two at the latest three weeks. Today is May 7, and I had not heard from anyone from Wallside. I called and spoke with a customer representative who pulled up the order and said let me speak to a supervisor. She came back and indicated the primed was referencing the interior boards and not the exterior boards and the only place those if necessary. They were clearly in need of replacement when the order was placed. I noted if that were the case, at minimum, they should have noted they had to replace the boards on the outside and that they were not primed so we could've had someone address the matter before leaving the wood exposed the entire winter season. Her response was the sales person should have gone over this. She noted he wrote in one the contract the stops on the inside are primed, but may not match the existing interior, if available. There is nothing I can find specifically in the contract addressing the exterior boards. A reasonable person would assume a window company replacing windows would replace rotted around the window as it part of the structure integrity of the window and sill. The demeanor of the company representative was dismissive and defensive. The first time I called, I was told the supervisor was in a meeting and that they would have to get back to me. They did not, and I called the second time before they sent someone else to make the assessment. I would highly recommend that you consider looking at other companies before using Wallside Windows. read more

I contacted Wallside a week ago to schedule a repair appointment. Today, their service technician arrived promptly, replaced the lock mechanism, and completed the service within ten minutes. All the seals broke in every window years ago. My mom owned the property but did not reside there. She recently passed away so I was looking to have them replaced or fixed. The gentleman I had come to look at the windows, recognized them as being Wallside Windows. He suggested I call & check on the warranty before getting windows replaced or fixed. Of course Wallside said the warranty expired earlier this year. After telling others about this, they said they experienced the same problem. From what I understand their windows are not cheap because of the warranty. Therefore; I think I'd say shop around first. I am blown away by the honesty and integrity of Wallside Windows! We had multiple broken seals and some faulty hardware so I called Wallside for an estimate on new windows. Wallside had records that a previous owner had replaced all the windows in our house in 2005 and THEY WERE STILL UNDER WARRANTY! 35 year warranty! I was transferred to the warranty dept and scheduled an inspection date only 3 weeks later. After inspection, they ordered 11 window panes, 2 new window casings and some misc. hardware. A few weeks later, Steve came out and replaced everything in less than 2 hours. Steve was awesome!! I can't believe how much nicer our home looks without the broken window seals & being able to see clearly through the new glass. Installers didn't put installation in one of the windows, it took 4 appointments for it to get fixed. They canceled last second on two of those appointments! Took four months to get fixed. Also had to argue with customer service multiple times due to them putting down our address wrong. In which they blamed me for giving them the wrong address. Replaced our back French doors with a sliding glass door. Got estimates from all the major companies. Wallside was by far the least expensive. We decided on a plain white with a brushed Nickel handle. Installation was done in July. Evertything was completed in approx 1/2 day and the finished product looks gorgeous. I am writing this review in winter because we now have some months under our belt with colder temps. The old doors were drafty and noticeably less effiecient. The new door is so effcient that this section of tour home is always 5-7 degrees warmer than other parts of the house!! If you are considering windows or a sliding glass door to get replaced replace I highly recommend Wallside. read more

I bought windows from WALLSIDE thinking I could get a tax rebate at tax time ! I called to get the Manufactures ID number and was told I had to wait 7-10 days . I would think that they would have got this info way before tax time as the IRS requires this number to get a tax rebate . I am not happy at all with this response I received from them as my taxes are waiting to be finished till I get this info . The Wallside Windows of today is NOT the Wallside Windows of the past. Plain & simple. My understanding is that the grandson now owns the company & he's made 'changes'....it shows! I've (literally) had Wallside install windows on over 15 investment homes I've owned & 3 of my personal residences over the past @ 25 years. ALL of those from the past were stellar during the whole purchase, install & warranty process. This last experience with Wallside will result in me NEVER using them again! The sales rep was pushy. The manufacturing process was WAY too long (COVID is over people, stop blaming that for your delays). The install delay after the windows were in-stock was several weeks & WAY too long. The day of install, the crew showed up a couple of hours after the quoted timeframe. Further, they'd failed to post the City permit & the inspector stopped, causing another delay. Installers misplaced several of the new screens & had to order new ones, which resulted in a several-weeks delay of getting them. Two windows were quickly leaking excessive cold air, with broken seals. A smart aleck woman took my call at the business when I called to request a warranty claim, telling me that broken seals is normal. When I reminded her that none of the Wallside Windows I'd purchased for almost 20 homes had leaked, she went quiet & finally caved, sending a tech to check the 2 windows, which she obviously had not wanted to do. Guess what? The tech verified that these new windows DID have broken seals. On return, the repair tech had to come on 2 separate occasions because he'd forgotten one of the new panels on the first trip. The windows overall are VERY poor quality & I'll never buy Wallside Windows again. These new windows yield poor weather insulation (unusual amount of hot & cold air), worse than our old windows did. The sound insulation is so bad that we can now hear distant road noise & normal conversations from people walking by on the sidewalk, which we hadn't heard on our 30 year old windows we'd replaced... Awful experience! There are numerous other window installers & I'll personally be using any number of them rather that Wallside Windows the next time I need them, which is frequent. I'm noticing a trend on these online reviews.... Grandpa's once-stellar business is being run into the ground. read more

Be warned that every function is contracted out from sales to install and repairs. You will not ever deal with an actual Wallside employee. They damaged the siding when they installed the windows and would not repair it. When I called in for repairs the earliest they could send someone out was 3 weeks from when I called. They will not give you an appointment window until the night before, so you must free up the entire day. When the repair tech showed up, he took one look at my window and said that he didn't have the right part so he couldn't do anything, but Wallside would call me to set up a new appointment. Two weeks later no call. Called into Wallside and the excuse they gave for not calling was it's their busy season, but they could get me on the books now that I called in. Unfortunately, since it is their busy season, it is going to take another 3 weeks before they can send the repair tech back out. They understand my frustration but unfortunately, they cannot get anyone to my home any sooner than that, so I now must free up another day and hope that the tech comes with the correct part this time. read more

Set up an appointment for service. Waited over 6 weeks for good tech. Called 2 days before, and told they would call morning of. Took day off work and waited, no call no show. Called back for 3rd time and spoke to the rudest customer service agent, Linda. Now being told different date and got condescending attitude from the start. She is the one who confirmed the date for me on my second call. Either she was too lazy to look and just agreed with the date that I gave her or the date got changed and she's too arrogant to admit her screw up. A couple of guys replaced my sliding glass door a couple of years ago. They ripped insulation out from around the door and never put anything in its place. Wallside sent someone else to check and they just added a piece to cover the gap between doors. I asked how that was going to fix the lack of insulation in my walls. They said the contractors would have sprayed something in during install. When I said I watched the install and they didn't, corporate didn't believe me. My walls are still cold in the winter with that area being 2-3° cooler. I'm thinking I'll have to shrinkwrap that door in future winters. Very disappointing. read more

Window replacement - HORRIBLE installation and customer service and management. I would never recommend Wallside. I wish I had checked Yelp and not Google reviews. The Yelp reviews definitely are more accurate and I hope people realize Google isn't worth a crap anymore. I have a condo with 3 windows and 1 doorwall. 3 out of 4 have issues and when their "specialist " came out after water pouring in the doorwall, I was harassed and verbally abused in my own home by some guy with "40 yr building experience" that never even checked the caulking which had 3 large gaps causing the leak. Two windows had screens falling out which only one has been replaced. They won't even call back now. Here comes another BBB complaint for them. DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLE ALONE! This home we had done in april and the last couple mornings have been cold outside and we have condensation all around the windows. i called and they said oh that is normal. i said oh NO it is not that means it is not right. As a career military we move around a lot . Sometimes we get put in a spot to move where we wouldn't normally choose. We moved into a home with NO functioning windows and of course home inspection never mentioned that. So we called around and found wall side to be most reasonable and saleman was not pushy. That being said... we were duped. Install went fine. An hour after they left it begins raining. Rain is now visible in the inside of my window... I call for service they are telling us that is by design. I'm calling BS but getting no where fast. no windows are designed to have windows allowing water to get through!!! We are beyond devastated. Scrape and save to improve our house only to turn one problem into another. We were never told not once that our windows would allow water to come through. So now every time it rains I have to watch water pool in our windows. Super disappointed. read more

We spent at least a hour cleaning up after the installers and they left caulk all over the windows and we asked if they were going to clean them off and they said "we install windows we don't clean them". Terrible customer service. Terrible service department! READ YELP REVIEWS! Google reviews are fake. Took months for them to finally come put my windows in. After they left, I looked at the windows and all inside parts were scratched up. For brand new windows, I was angry. Called to get replacement/refund and they were so rude. I finally got a tech out to take pictures and prove they were scratched and he even said "you have to keep calling to keep up on this. They won't call you"-which turned out to be so true!!! After months of calling, I finally scheduled a replacement and I get a call an hour after they are supposed to be here and the guy said "your product isn't on my truck. You have to call Monday and figure out what happened. Sorry, bye". I'm so over this company and wish I would have looked through the reviews harder. So disappointing. read more

Warranty work performed because seals on all 18 windows were broken from age. First 'repair' resulted in many broken locks and inability to open two windows because fit too tight. Repair person stated it would get looser over time. Second repair person Sean just told me windows not too tight and instead they won't easily go up and down because of dirt in the track. I told him windows went up and down easily prior to first repair. Then I endured a speech on how Sean has been doing this for 30 years. Windows and workmanship are and have been total crap since the day they were installed. Go with Weatherguard or another reputable high quality company. Would give a zero star review if possible. read more

Unfortunately the 2 double hung windows I had installed on 9/2/2025 are defective. This isn't the fault of the installers, it's actually the fault of the overall design of the windows. When unlocked, the top window begins to slide down (on its own) about 3 inches. There are plastic braking mechanisms that prevent it from sliding down to far. Sadly, this also prevents the bottom window from being raised up more than 3 inches. God forbid if I forget to lock/latch the windows and set the brakes, the top window will slide all the way down on its own. With only a half screen on the bottom, the top area is completely exposed to the outside, when the windows slide down on their own. If the windows remain locked, then there's no problem (so far) but I want to use my windows to their full capacity, which means raising the bottom window all the way up without worrying about the top window sliding down, on its own. Yes, the double hung windows are easy to clean, which is a great marketing ploy/cover up for a major window design error that allows top windows to slide down on their own. If you've already purchased double hung windows, test them to see if yours have this problem. If you haven't already purchased the double hung windows, you can now make an informed decision. Aesthetically, the windows "look" beautiful but the overall functionality & security of the windows are extremely terrible. Initially, I posted a positive review but had to delete it after actually using my windows. When installed, there were cooler temperatures but now temperatures are rising again, prompting me to open the windows, ultimately resulting in me discovering the defect. I know that there will most likely be a response to this review apologizing and offering to resolve the situation, however; there's no need for initiating a resolution because again, this is a window design flaw that needs to be addressed by corporate to implement a new protocol at the factory level. Also, I've read many other reviews and the follow up to resolve window issues can challenging and exhausting, often leading to a complete lack of resolution. I'll just have to do my research and get these windows replaced by a company that has higher quality windows. read more
