Romeo and the rest of his crew are amazing! All very nice and willing to work with you. They completely repainted the house, installed brand-new recessed lighting, fixed a plumbing pipe, installed new toilets, and added new electrical circuits. Everything was done professionally and with great attention to detail. Their pricing was very reasonable, and they were also extremely helpful when it came to choosing paint colors and giving honest input on what would look best with the house. They worked every day until the job was completely finished, which is something you don't always find with contractors. Another huge plus was how flexible they were. As the project went on, I was able to add additional things I wanted done, and they were always willing to work with me and help get them taken care of. Overall, phenomenal company, great pricing, excellent work, and great people to work with. I would absolutely use Affordable Painting and Repair again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for painting, electrical, plumbing, or general home repairs!

Price important, but quality was the driving factor. I was very impressed with him, personally, as he actually does the work - not a sales person that hasn't actually done the work. His explanation of work required was clear and concise. Based upon other Yelp reviews, I KNEW his quality would be outstanding. A delightful surprise was that his pricing was also very reasonable. Chuck is a true professional. He did a great job and, as a result, has earned my strongest possible recommendation. Well done!

The quote was sent via email the next business day and he followed up a few days later to see if I wanted the work done. I prefer to pay more through a company instead of someone using YouTube and no skill. He also pointed out a few items I needed to take a look in the future so it doesn't get worst. I honestly appreciate the work and will be using in the future.

My biggest fear was if mold was behind the tile - he was confident it wasn't. But of course I asked if it was and he did give me a price like I asked so I would be prepared. The work took 2 days due to drying time and he was able to work with my weird schedule as well. Definitely will use company in the future. Side note - the owner came each day to review the workers progress and the work; provided all the update information. Happy home improvement!!!

We needed someone to come in and install our new dishwasher after getting some plumbing and…read moreelectrical done to get it ready. Jose responded to my Request a Quote within the hour and had availability the next day to come and take care of it. Our house is over 100 years old so we ran into a few snafus, like an uneven floor, bracketing issues attaching the dishwasher to the counter, and hose fittings but he handled it all smoothly, checking with me before making any decisions we might not have been comfortable with (e.g., screws in our counter interfered with bracketing the dishwasher exactly in the center of the space we had wanted so we had to shift a little to the left). He also reused some materials I had left over from a DIY project I had done to level the washer, saving us some money on additional materials. We also ran the dishwasher before he left and identified one of the hoses was a little too loose, causing a slight drip, so he made sure everything was tight and secure before wrapping the job. The dishwasher has been running great! The price was really reasonable and Jose was very kind and accommodating. I would definitely feel very comfortable calling him again for future jobs!

What a horrible experience I've had with this company so far. I knew they were one of the most…read moreexpensive options, and I was willing to pay a premium for quality service, but instead, I ended up with a higher price and lower‑level service. From the very beginning, things went wrong. They didn't get one of the room sizes correct, it was literally the size of a closet -- and then tried to blame the blueprints, even though their own measurements were wrong. Despite that, they still charged me to fix their mistake. Then, after agreeing to a $107,000 price to finish my basement (yes, they are that expensive), they had the audacity to bill me separately for the permits. Imagine agreeing to a six‑figure renovation and then being told the permits aren't included. They claimed it was "in the fine print," even though the fine print only says the home owner is responsible for the permits, however it doesn't say that the cost is separate from the total. To make matters worse, they still haven't picked up their trash (pictures below have been in my basement for the last month and a half). It's been sitting in my basement and garage, and the project has been at a standstill for four weeks with zero communication or progress. Stay far away from this company.
