Does it sound like a scam to you!? I know the price went up but a few years ago when people quote me a similar job say $300 and that's the final price. Just be aware about it before you rejecting others with quotes higher than $299. $299 seems like a good price but people use it to trick you into rejecting other honest businesses. The tech also put a sticker on the wall said 24/7 Garage Door Experts. So, I really don't know which one is their real name. Just be aware!

He had to adjust the chain, balanced the door and was done in 45 minutes. For that he charged me $250. Never calling them again. Not even a call saying they're still running behind but the haven't forgotten about me. I called back to see what was going on and spoke to Dave again I believe. He was nice on the phone and everything, but he said so much time has went by that he would need to come out and measure again. So that means they never wrote anything down the first time they came out to measure. He also said that he would call me back in the next couple days to set something up. I never heard from anyone ever again so I was forced to go with a different company that actually calls customers back and wants to have business. The whole experience with this company seemed very unprofessional.

I had one spring bad and they replaced both and took my good spring with them which makes me wonder if I didn't get someone's used spring. I thought they were expensive also but I needed it done so I was stuck. I knew it was a spring because we had them replaced before and you could see it but they wouldn't give you an estimate until they got there. I'm not a fan of being at someone's mercy.
