On December 10th the technician arrived and suggested that the failure was user error, that I had "allowed" the seal to become frozen to the ground. First, I've never heard of such a thing. Second, this is Michigan... Now, after several weeks, and several attempts to reach Jason. He texted me and said that "the manufacturer had rejected my claim"??? But, not to worry, because the garage door guy, would sell me an "aftermarket" repair for just $300.

He has no intensions of calling us back and fixing this and resolving the warranty that he claims his business offered us on the receipt. Buyers DO NOT work with this company. Just be aware about it before you rejecting others with quotes higher than $299. $299 seems like a good price but people use it to trick you into rejecting other honest businesses.
