Fast service, fair prices, quality work and honesty. I've been using this shop for about a year and a half and I continue to be impressed.

They are so nice here! I've only had a few minor tire problems that have needed fixing and they are awesome everytime.

Also, the guy at the counter gave me four quarters for my dollar when I asked him, no questions asked. I was headed up to Evanston, and needed change for the meters. Btw, one of the one-star reviews is racist.

JUUL VAPORS BEWARE!!! FAKE and EMPTY JUUL PODS…read more This used to be my place to grab snacks and Juul pods, but never again! This morning I was in the store, bought water and Juul pods. When I walked out to my car and opened them up, someone had beat me to it -- they were all opened and EMPTY. When I went back in 30 seconds later to exchange them, I was told it was MY problem and that they only sell unopened merchandise. This is a lie! I literally walked out to my car and right back in -- sorry, we can't take those back or exchange them. Ended up calling the cops -- they got the managers name and phone number, but of course, no one answers at that number. I will keep trying, but I'm really just writing this review to WARN others. Juul pods are expensive -- I lost $20 by their SCAM, but they will lose my business forever (and everyone I know or anyone I can tell -- we have plenty of gas station options in Rogers Park). So, that's about $200 worth of my business they receive from me each month (snacks and Juul pods -- I need to quit, this may be the reason I do) that they will never see again. My partner and friends also buy from this gas station -- we are all boycotting. Go out of business already so we can put something HONEST in there, not some scammers. APPAULED!

EXPENSIVE GAS. If you have no choice, make sure you dont go at night.read more

Six months ago, my car threw a fit about starting for a day or two. I took it to a mechanic by my…read moremom's place (it was Thanksgiving weekend) and was told that my electronic load detector was on the fritz. Cost to fix? $350. Time to fix? 3 days. I declined on the assumption that it started most of the time and probably wouldn't hurt the car in any worse way. Fast forward to April ... my check engine light came on while driving home from work. Normally, I reach for the manual and look for the instructions on how to reset the thing, but I figured it was time to see what was up. I dropped off my car at Frank's at 8:30 the next morning (you leave the keys and a note with the fellow in the gas station, who is quite friendly and helpful). By noon, Frank had called to let me know that the load detector was finito (no surprise) and that three out of four engine cylinders were misfiring. Woohoo! He'd already taken it upon himself to go to a dealership and get the new ELD, and my engine would need a good tune-up. Done and done. The car was done that day. In the end, I got a new ELD and a full engine tune-up (with new spark plugs and a cleaned and rejuvenated fuel injection system) for less than what the other shop was going to charge me for 1/3 of that work - and in 1 day instead of 3. Frank wins. Plus, he kept in touch throughout the day to let me know what was going on. There's no real sign for Frank's - it's just the Citgo station -- but it's a good find. Plus, you can drop off or pick up your car any time of the day or night because of the link to the gas station.

Jiffy Lube - Air filter

I really have to give props to this store…read more I had a terrible experience at another Jiffy Lube in Park Ridge. They improperly installed my rear brakes and I had issues (severe shaking when the brakes were applied). They wouldn't honor the warranty. They wouldn't even put it on a lift. I was an idiot according to them. I didn't have my front brakes done when these were put in, and that was the problem. Period, end of story. They were literally the ones that told me the fronts didn't need to be done, and they didn't care that it was shaking. My brakes were still badly broken and UNSAFE, so I went to THIS Jiffy Lube in Andersonville. They drove it and put it on the lift. Lo and behold, the front brakes were fine, and the rear brakes were improperly installed. Just as I had suspected. I just paid them to go ahead and do front and back. They said they'd be glad to give me the old brake parts and write a note so I could try to get a refund from Park Ridge. Park Ridge refused, of course. In fact, they were so bad and so rude to me in that first encounter that I couldn't even deal with them. I guess when I took the note to Park Ridge, they called this store. I got a call from this store asking what was going on, and I explained the situation and everything I'd been dealing with. The manager listened, empathized, and refunded me the full cost of the front and rear brakes they did. It didn't get me all my money back, but it went a long way toward restoring my goodwill with Jiffy Lube. My brakes have been great since they worked on them. Park Ridge (it's a franchise) refused to stand by not only their service but their own warranty. This store made it right, and I highly recommend them.

Service has always been quick and the staff pleasant. For small repairs like this, the price is definitely better than what I would pay at the dealership. They have coffee while you wait, but I have never been there long enough to partake of it, so I can't speak to the quality. But I like that this location gets me in and out without me spending a lot of money.
