I love this location!! I've been going for several years for routine oil changes but today farrrrrr exceeded my expectations. This morning my car had about 1 inch of water pouring onto my floorboards from the dash. I pulled into JiffyLube to ask if they'd seen this before, and they offered to check under the hood for me and take off the plastic to check the AC duct. They did this even though it wasn't a routine maintenance service, and just to be HELPFUL. The manager on the floor was SO KIND. He emptied about a gallon of water for me and after clearing the clog was worried about my car drying appropriately to avoid mold and smell. He was so gracious about just wanting to help. ALSO---- While he was fixing my issue (in under 3 minutes BTW), another mechanic who was working the floor was so friendly with my new puppy and offered him treats. The vibe in the building was so light and positive, and I felt they genuinely wanted to help me. I was IN and OUT so fast, was shocked to have paid $0 and will be a forever loyal customer for all future oil changes! This place will always get my money. read more

I come out of my way to go to this location because of the friendly staff and the price. This will be the last time going. As I always bring my own oil and filter plus I'm in the system with Uber. I pay a lower price. This time the "manager" on duty whom I never seen there was arguing with me about the pricing and such. I kept trying to explain my Uber discount and I bring my own supplies. Of course, I was charged a higher price than I ever paid any other time. I didn't have it in me to keep going back and forth with this guy, when any other time I come in, I get treated better and pay a lower price. read more

I can't say enough great things about this Jiffy Lube and the staff. Mike and his team are welcoming, trustworthy, and will take care of your car with a high-level of care. I will admit, I am no car expert. I have struggled to find a mechanic/shop that has been honest and helpful in the past. I've gone here for many oil changes, belt replacement, and some general fixes for when my car is making an odd noise. The employees go above and beyond to ensure everything is in good shape before you leave and don't try and oversell anything. There is an air conditioned waiting area that has water, coffee, Wifi, and a restroom. It's a comfortable location for services that take a little longer or if it's just generally a busier day. You don't need to make an appointment, but I tend to call ahead if it's for something beyond an oil change. There are regularly coupons for services such as oil changes, so definitely look before you go! read more

I'm driving to work in the rain when one of my wipers bit the dust. I went to an automotive place that was going out of business and they had no wipers in my size. I asked where could I get some wipers. They tried to send me to one of there other locations. But I was pretty nervous driving without my wipers. As I was leaving a guy that was right behind me told me "Go to Jiffy Lube and they will take care of you." I hopped into my car and call the nearest one and YUP they do windshield wipers replacements. I carefully drove there and once I got there I was greeted immediately. I pulled my car in and presto my wipers were back to full wiping. Thanks to the entire team at this location for being courteous, fast and an overall good deal. They are definitely trying to make the experience at this Jiffy Lube more high-class then I have experienced at other places. Including other Jiffy Lube locations. When you arrive, they offer to allow you to wait in your car until they're ready to take you or you can wait inside. When you do go into the waiting room they escort you inside and hold the door open for a nice touch. Service probably depends upon what you're having done, but it took about 20 minutes or so for my service. They did the oil change of course, and I added on an air filter change. They also checked the brakes which was a check-in offer for checking in on Yelp. I needed to stop here because my oil has needed to be changed for some time (even the computer had been hollering at me for like a week to get an oil change), and the dealership didn't have a time for me to come in. If I had to come back I would, but I'll probably continue going to my dealer. read more

Only reason it is not a one star is because of Mike the manager, but the technicians there need further training. I took my car in for an oil change no defects, I left and the car started to smoke because of the valve covers I took a look at the dipstick and it was beyond full. The technicians tried to tell me to ignore the oil level on the dipstick. Shout out to Mike thought seems to be the only guy there that understands vehicles. read more

I typically will do everything they advise me when it comes to the maintenance of my car, which is now 14 years old with 113,000+ miles on it and runs like new. This might be the right place for oil changes, but if you need your brakes repaired, go elsewhere! I waited for nearly 4 hours while waiting for new brake pads. They had told me it would be an hour and a half, so I decided to wait. I had to miss three appointments and could not pick up my child from daycare due to this. They kept telling me 20 minutes (which was untrue). If you half all day to wait, go for it! If not, definitely go elsewhere! read more

Stay away at all costs. Brought in for oil change, put in wrong oil. Then paid for diagnostic and was recommended to change plugs and coil. Engine light went on, so took in to dealership and had to remove and replace plugs and coil. Coil was defective, and refuse to give us a refund. Manager admitted he COULD refund for the defective coil, just chooses not to. Bad form. Reaching out to corporate now. STAY AWAY, unless you want your car to be worse after you leave and have a lot less money. read more

If you go here they force you to provide your cell phone number and email address before they'll give you an oil change, and afterwards they start aggressively harassing you to leave 5 star reviews. The lube techs which worked here didnt seem knowledgeable about my vehicle and refused to follow basic instructions, even though I asked for only an oil change and to not perform any of the additional vehicle inspection checks as I came in on my lunch break and didnt have much time, they refused and wasted my time trying to upsell me on useless and unnecessary services. They claimed Cadillac which is a brand, rather than GM who is the manufacturer said that my transmission fluid should be changed every 50,000 miles and tried to sell me these services even though my vehicle is at 75,000 miles. This is incorrect and is only listed by GM in the severe maintenance schedule if my vehicle was routinely used in mountainous terrain, towing a trailer or as a taxi or police vehicle. They did not recommend any of the other services required on the severe maintenance schedule such as a transfer case fluid change, presumably because they dont offer the service. The normal maintenance schedule, which applies to just about every Cadillac CTS says this service should only be performed every 100,000 miles. They failed to bring up other faults with the vehcile, such as the ABS and traction control lights being on, let alone hook up a scan tool to tell me what I already know that the tone ring on the rear passenger wheel hub has disintegrated even though they claim to do this in their inspection checklist. They failed to notice my power steering fluid cooler hoses had a leak even though they claim to do this in their inspection checklist. They sure as shit didnt check my air filters either, because I know for a fact they're old and need to be replaced. Anyways the take away here is that if you go to this store, they'll continuously harass you and try to upsell you on unnecessary services while failing to provide the free services they claim to offer. read more

Went here for a simple oil change and they tried to charge me $500+ and swap out all the liquids in the car. I was lucky I actually know a thing or two about cars because I was able to say that I had already done everything they were suggesting, to which they immediately dropped the price to $70 (still a bit pricey for an oil change) and offered no explanation. Had decided to not change my oil myself and save some time, but go somewhere else or do it yourself before you come here. read more

I would like to start my review by saying first of all you should never try to assume somebody does not understand another language. With that said I understand 100% what they were saying about me and my partners choice on what we wanted to do to our car. They told us that we were dumb to the coworkers. I will never come back to this location let alone any jiffy lube because of this. This location needs to take serious action in a customer service as I am obviously an avid reviewer and people take what I say seriously and I have never been treated so disrespectfully in my life at a oil changing place. By far the very best jiffy lube in the city. This place makes me feel like royalty. The gentlemen in this place do a superb job at making me feel 1. Not taking for a ride or advantage of. Which I can't say for most car service places. 2. Take care of me right away as if my time is important. 3.Quck, efficient, quality service. 4. Super friendly, courteous, seevice. 5. Getting any type of work done on my car is something that is stress inducing. Even something as little as an oil change makes me super unhappy. But let me promise you, there's a reason this Jiffy Lube has such a high Yelp rating. 1. They were HONEST. They didn't even try to sell me one extra filter like I've had happen to me at many other places. 2. They were SPEEDY. I was in and out in 15 minutes even though I came to them after work, which is typically considered a "crowded" time. 3. They were INFORMATIVE. I'm not the most knowledgeable car owner, but I am a fast learner, so when someone takes the time to explain something to me, I LOVE that. They clearly outlined when I would need tire rotations and many other small things on my car. This Jiffy Lube is worth the trip. I have had my oil changed at this location several times. The most recent time I needed an oil change, two weeks ago, I was in St. Louis. The Jiffy Lube location I went to informed me that my vehicle did not have an engine filter. This location in Chicago did my oil change last time and failed to replace the air filter - which I am sure they probably charged me for a replacement since they removed one. The most alarming thing is because of this location's total carelessness on something that should be so routine, I drove for 3000 miles with no filter. Who knows what damage has been done or could have been done. I will NEVER recommend this location. read more

My wife turned me on to this place, and now I can sing its praises too. Visit #1: 22 minutes; no attempt to upsell services; the guy even smirked appreciatively when he was collecting information and I said "You don't really need my address, do you?" The clerk and the technician were the picture of polite professionalism. Visit #2: 25 minutes; I should mention that both of these visits were mid-morning on a random Friday. The front-desk attendant was the same as last time, Chris. This guy knows good, basic customer service. I walked away with a serviced automobile and a Shell gasoline rewards card for $1.25 off per gallon up to 20 gallons. Nice. One thing that they are good at is showing you the manufacturer's recommendations on the computer, and where you are on those timelines. While I'm happy with the service and I assume that they are doing good work under the hood, it isn't cheap. For several years I drove a car whose maintenance was covered by the manufacturer, so I am out of touch with the oil-change market. Back in the mid-aughts I recall paying about $35 to Pep Boys for oil changes, but standard oil at Jiffy Lube is about $55 and full synthetic around $75. Maybe oil just costs more now, or are these guys doing something extra? If I am paying a 50% premium for super-fast, friendly, and effective service, is it worth it? Time may tell. read more

DO NOT EVER BRING YOUR CAR HERE...My car would not start after they did a "routine oil change" on a 2-year old car. When we towed it to the dealer, they found metal shards in the engine, as well as a green tint. Jiffy Lube has not taken any responsibility. Someone is lying about what happened. $12,000 and 3months later, I am glad I have car insurance. THESE PEOPLE ARE BAD!! They were polite, quick and didn't try pressuring me into additional services for my car which is plus because that can be very annoying. Oscar helped me out and was outstanding ! Everyone is great but I've worked with Oscar several times and he is just amazing. He answers all of my naive questions with grace and always explains things to me in terms I can understand. I never feel like he's trying to sell me stuff I don't need (which you know happens at other places) so I feel like my money is well spent here. He tells me what's recommended and then helps me to figure out what I REALLY need and what I just kind-of-need, based on my budget. Even if I move, I will still go to this Jiffy Lube location. This place is an absolute gem. I have been there multiple times at different points in the day, and it has never taken more than 10-15 minutes. Honest, thorough, and fairly priced. However, their greatest asset is their people. These guys are incredibly warm and friendly. It goes beyond the excellent customer service - they joke with you, never make you feel silly for asking what might be a dumb question, initiate pleasant conversation, and seem genuinely interested in the people coming in the door. It seems silly to say it, but when I get close to my odometer matching the number on my window sticker, I actually look forward to stopping in here. read more

I went in for the signature oil change. I was told that topping off the coolant would cost me $7.99 on top of the regular charge. This had not been the case before - the coolant had always been a part of the standard oil change package. Also, according to the Jiffy Lube website as part of this service the inside of the car is supposed to get vacuumed and the outside of the windows washed. Neither of these services were done for me. I always relied on Jiffy Lube for such basic maintenance, but this was a very disappointing experience and I will have to reconsider my choices in the future. Raising prices while taking away included services is not a way to retain loyal customers. read more
