We've had Toyota 4runners, Range Rovers, Tahoe, suburbans, lexus, BMW convertible - and we only trust Ron and his mechanics to work on all our cars. The special sauce to Speedline is Ron and his honesty along with skill. This is an industry that can easily take advantage of people, but Ron will NEVER do that. Can't tell you how many times he tells me I don't need tires or work done, etc. In fact, when we were in LA for 2 years, something didn't feel right in the car (Suburban) as we drove the I-5 highway for 6 hours to Sonoma. Instead of pulling into a gas station or mechanic along the way, we pulled over and called Ron. He told us exactly what to do and what not to do- and then exactly what to do once we got to our destination. When our safety was at risk - we called Ron; nobody is more honest, trustworthy. I've also sat in his lobby while waiting for repairs on my car(s) many times. My experience every time I've witnessed a customer complain or even yell at Ron (or his employees) are those that are rude, demanding and likely have unreal expectations - no matter where they go. I initially assumed it was nothing serious, but by the following evening, one tire was completely flat. To be clear, I understand there's no way to know for sure whether the tire was damaged while the car was at the shop or while I was driving it home or the following day. I genuinely acknowledge that uncertainty. That said, the timing concerned me. I took the car to Just Tires, where I had purchased all four of the tires in 2022. I was told that the flat tire could not be repaired and needed to be replaced. Replacing two tires, which is fairly typical (depending on tread wear and matching) was recommended. The total cost, including tax and installation, was about $575. I discussed the situation with Ken Papas at Ashland Tire, and I appreciate the way he handled it. He didn't dismiss my concern, but he also fairly pointed out that neither of us could pinpoint when the damage occurred. He offered $150 toward the replacement cost, which I accepted. I think that was a reasonable, good-faith gesture, even though covering the cost of one tire would have felt more satisfying. I'm leaving a positive review because the exhaust issue has been resolved (so I assume the original repair was done correctly) and because Ken handled an uncertain situation professionally. I'd consider using Ashland Tire & Auto again.

Many other folks had the same idea, so I knew this place was reputable (in addition to all its great online reviews) They gave me a call by 10:30am letting me know they could fix the whirring with a new belt. Also identified my brakes were at their end of life and offered to replace. Their quote for 4 new brake pads was extremely reasonable. By 1:45 my car was done being serviced and I went back to pick it up. Easy check out. No line. Very nice staff. A complete success. Definitely will use Ashland tire and auto for all future car needs and will recommend to all my friends

It included replacing every fluid - oil, brake, trans, differential, coolant - plus all filters, tire rotation, throttle cleaning, and more. I had the car in at 8:30 and it was done by 4:00. I've waited at Berman's 3 hours just to get an old change and tires rotated. Not only that, but the guys there were great to deal with, especially Nabor. I'm moving out of state soon, but if I wasn't this would be the only place I would take my car. I cannot recommend Avondale Auto Repair highly enough. Make it 6 stars.

This led me to bringing my vehicle in when it started to make a grinding/popping noise while steering. The interesting thing was that the noise only happened after a couple minutes of driving or on a very hot and humid day. They recommended I replace the struts and I listened as I have no knowledge of cars. Sure enough the sound was not gone after an $800 repair. I took the car back to them the next day in hopes for a proper diagnoses as i'm sure I needed the struts replaced but that wasn't why I came in the first place. They made me drive around for 30 minutes to try and get the noise to happening again and thankfully it started very subtly as I needed to get back to work. The manager had both his technicians come out to look at the car and the first guy looked completely lost as to what it could be (mind you this was the guy who replaced the struts to begin with), the second guy figured the first guy installed the struts wrong. So they end up telling me they'll redo the strut installation and give the car a wheel alignment (the alignment should've been done with the initial replacement). I wait till end of day and they tell me to come pick it up, manager says they reinstalled the struts and couldn't fit the alignment in today, so I wait until the following Tuesday as that was the only time I could drop it off for an alignment. Later that day I pick it up and the manager says they did the alignment for free due to the inconvenience but it doesn't feel aligned. Low and behold, the noise is still there, after bringing it back in the manager keeps it all day and tells me "we think we found the issue and it's going to be an expensive repair" I had to specifically ask what is the repair. He says I need a rack and pinion replacement, I call BS. So I take it to another shop trusted by family and they also call BS and diagnosed the issue within 20 minutes. My control arms were worn out and needed replacing, sure enough after that repair the issue was gone. TLDR : Basically only take your vehicle here for basic maintenance, I would've paid over $1500 to not have my issue resolved.

My friend told me to check this place out and today was my first time ever going to Steve's Auto Service. Robert was so kind and listened to my concerns and everyone there was so nice and knowledgeable and extremely helpful. They all worked as a team to help get my car back on the road and safe. I couldn't open my car hood since being rear ended in October and Robert was able to fix it right away and even helped me fix my crazy loud rattling muffler with a wire clamp in no time. I just got off of work from a very long day and it was such a pleasure to have came across Steve's Auto Shop who does Uber/Lyft inspections. I met a couple of cool mechanics Raymond and his brother who were very helpful and professional with me, and answered every question I had. I would highly recommend Steve's Auto Service. My tire, axle, and tie rods needed to be replaced. The car needed so much work. They took care of me from the tow truck to fixing everything that was wrong with the car. They kept me updated constantly and they got my car fixed within hours for a great price. This is the best place. Robert replaced the front and rear brakes on my Scion. The work was performed very quickly at an affordable price. Another mechanic I had taken the car to earlier wanted to charge for new brake calipers. Robert said we did not need to do that. Instead, he was able to clean the existing calipers. I just tried the brakes - they work really well. I will bring my car back for future service. Honest, professional, caring, communicates well. Highly recommend. read more

Steves Auto Service is great! Steven the owner of the shop was extremely helpful and detailed when explaining what needed to be done to my car. My tire was going flat and I was in a panic because I had to get to work. I saw Steve's Auto Service and pulled in. He immediately lifted the car and pointed out the irreparable damage. These two brothers do their job dignity. Their not their to take advantage of you and your money. You ask for an oil change that's exactly what they'll do. You ask them to check your breaks and wipers they'll get it done. Unlike dealers where they make their money from selling products these guys make their money by performing high quality services. He told me to go to the dealership to see if they'll replace it for free and if they don't he recommended me a good place for transmission repair.
