JUUL VAPORS BEWARE!!! FAKE and EMPTY JUUL PODS. This used to be my place to grab snacks and Juul pods, but never again! This morning I was in the store, bought water and Juul pods. When I walked out to my car and opened them up, someone had beat me to it -- they were all opened and EMPTY. When I went back in 30 seconds later to exchange them, I was told it was MY problem and that they only sell unopened merchandise. This is a lie! I literally walked out to my car and right back in -- sorry, we can't take those back or exchange them. Ended up calling the cops -- they got the managers name and phone number, but of course, no one answers at that number. I will keep trying, but I'm really just writing this review to WARN others. Juul pods are expensive -- I lost $20 by their SCAM, but they will lose my business forever (and everyone I know or anyone I can tell -- we have plenty of gas station options in Rogers Park). So, that's about $200 worth of my business they receive from me each month (snacks and Juul pods -- I need to quit, this may be the reason I do) that they will never see again. My partner and friends also buy from this gas station -- we are all boycotting. Go out of business already so we can put something HONEST in there, not some scammers. APPAULED! read more

This place is horrible!!!! Someone charges $11.00 to my debit card every month and I've been calling they're corporate phone 888-651-5056 to resolve it but I never receive a phone call back! I visited this location one freakin time in desperation. My visit was back in 2020 when I made a purchase. However, my debit card is charged monthly. I contacted my credit union and received a new card. Fast forward there is still an ACH credit of $11.00 being withdrawn from this establishment monthly. I have no idea how they're doing it. I contacted my credit union and they're not much better, they told me to contact the merchant first and then they'll attempt to assist me. Well, I will also be changing credit unions as soon as all recent charges are caught up and cleared. Customer Service EVERYWHERE is almost IMPOSSIBLE! I had none of the problems other reviewers have noted. It is true the pumps are configured in a strange way, but it makes sense given the size of the lot. Also, the guy at the counter gave me four quarters for my dollar when I asked him, no questions asked. I was headed up to Evanston, and needed change for the meters. The price was right when I went here on Sunday, but I had a problem with the clerk. Either he didn't understand English (doubt it) or was just being a knucklehead when he insisted I use the inside terminal to swipe my credit card to get gas. This was even after I explained why I wanted to use the outside gas tank he acted like I didn't understand English?? However, I did get back at him when I pushed over the bubble gum container that spilled all over upon leaving! Of course he had to respond by calling me the b word! How's that for customer service? I always avoid this station because it is configured so poorly. it's hard to get in/out of there, and other people are parked at pumps in ways that block passage. The other day I had the misfortune of being on E and this was the only place between where I was and home - and I just didn't want to go out of my way at all. so I stopped, was immediately aggravated when someone in front of my swung his car out at an angle nearly cutting off all traffic around him - fucking idiot! anyway - I survived the urge to accost and kill him - get to an open pump, and the interface is painfully slow. I put my credit card in, wait for an eternity before it prompts for my zip, enter that, another eternity while it 'authorizes', finally, it request for me to remove nozzle and select grade - which i do with lightening speed - i wait, repeatedly squeezing nozzle handle - nothing is happening - i tap my chosen grade a few times squeeze a few times, tap grade a few times, squeeze a few times and am just about to give up - when oh - fuel starts to flow.... but again - soooo slowly. I really needed to fill up because I had a lot of driving to do the next day - but slow gas pumps are just one of my pet peeves i guess - and this one started off bad with slow interface. i barely survived 2 gallons pumped and had to go. I hope i remember this forever, so that i never, ever, ever make the mistake of going here again. i see someone mentioned that with 10 gallon purchase you get a free water - which seems reasonable as a person could become dehydrated in the amount of time required to actually receive 10 gallons of fuel from this place. ughhhhh! read more

Hmmm, where to begin here. The lot surrounding the store is poorly designed. Feels cramped no matter where you're at in the lot. Has gas pumps literally a few steps from one of the entrances. Inside the store is just as poorly configured. Very tight space, cluttered shelces with unused incentory at the end of all rows. The floors were filthy. Staff terse & rude. read more

Asked for change for vacuums. Received attitude. Went to use said vacuum and it had literally no suction. Job one of a vacuum. This gas station is horrible I went there to get milk, I got it and went home and looked at expiration date and it expired a week ago. I went back to the gas station trying to Exchange it and all the rest of the milk were expired. I told the cashier and he laughed with his fellow employee. I will be reporting to The Better Bureau to make sure this doesn't happen to another customer. read more

It's a little hard to maneuver with the way they have the pumps set up, but I suppose that's the best way to fit the most into this small urban location. Pleasantly surprised to see that with any fill-up of at least ten gallons, you can grab a free water bottle or small coffee - ALWAYS. read more
