Just decadent delicious Paneer Tikka Masala. - A table setting with a bowl of white rice, a bowl of curry garnished with herbs, a small bowl of soup, and a glass of water at an Indian restaurant.

WOW! The food here is absolutely gourmet and delicious! Don't let the drab, rough exterior of the restaurant and parking lot fool you, deliciousness is awaiting you inside! I was slightly disappointed that their buffet was standing but not operating, but I still wanted to try the food. I got a cup of lentil Punjabi soup and it was absolutely delicious. I love it when Indian dishes have complex flavors, with herbs, spices, and seeds. The paneer tikka masala was also amazing, nice and spicy (I order 6/6 spice level) and very fresh tasting with that "party in your mouth" taste. Prices weren't cheap, but weren't excessive. My bill after tax was over $22, but I was happy to pay that intermediate price point for such delicious food. Again, as I've mentioned in previous reviews I don't tip at Indian restaurants. I noticed the culture not tipping and I asked questions. I was told that tipping was not customary and they work on purely "salary" (price of the food is raised accordingly). I wish I was in the area more often because the food here is a KNOCKOUT!

5. Special Tea - A white ceramic cup filled with tea sits on a matching saucer on a wooden table, with a basket partially visible nearby.

I know this is the Yelp standard text that floats in before you right a review, but this restaurant seriously did not look like much from the outside. The parking lot could definitely use some resurfacing. The interior, however, was pretty pleasant if you like Pakistani soap operas playing in the background. The name of the place was odd, and no explanation presented itself (apparently AAP is an Indian political party...?). But the bottom line of course is the food, and I had a hankering for the classic chickpea curry and fried bread which they offer. I find it odd that this place, like others in the area, brings rice with your chickpeas; it seems to me that the whole point is that you're using the bread to eat them. It's a shame because it was fluffy rice with a hint of spices, but I didn't eat all of it. My chickpeas were ordered at the maximum level of spiciness and delivered a slow burn kind of experience. I was a bit disappointed that they didn't come with any accoutrements (instead of the rice I would much sooner have had some fresh onions and a bit of pickled mango or something). The quality of what I received, however, was evident, with brightly flavored, freshly cooked chickpeas with ample spices and an indulgent bread. My milk tea on the side likewise was robust in flavor. It wasn't perfect, but I left satisfied.

This was our second trip to this Indian restaurant. Everything I said from the first trip is still true here as the place looked good and the service was fine. We tried a tomato soup appetizer with some Indian spices thrown in. It was a wonderful mish mash of flavours that was as good of take on tomato soup that I've ever had. For my main course I got my personal favourite of the Indian Dishes and that's Lamb Vindaloo as spicy as they would make it. While it maybe a half a notch below the Guru version of this dish this was still excellently done. Great layers of flavour, great tenderness in the lamb, and a nice big ole kick of spice made this very delicious to be sure. Add in a good side of Naan bread to soak up all of that tasty sauce and it was another winning effort from this restaurant.

Unfortunately the only thing in this picture that was any good was the soup, But the soup was pretty good. Otherwise... avoid it

Favorite Indian restaurant when I visit Cincinnati! Dal soup is my go to! Larger soup option if possible.

Our takeout go-to. Always consistent, always hot, and always quality. The special chicken tikka masala and keema samosas are our favorite!

My long-running birthday tradition is getting Indian for dinner. Take-out, order in, anything goes…read more I wanted to try a new spot this year, so we dined in here on a Saturday night. It was busier than we expected, but it didn't affect our very attentive service. We started with a different appetizer than usual (for us), the Papadi Chat. A simple cold salad mix of chickpeas, apples, onion, and spices. We didn't really know what to expect, but it was tasty and something I could easily replicate at home. For entrees, we happily devoured 2 saag dishes (Chicken Tikka Saag and Saag Paneer), as well as Dal Makhani. I can't write this review without mentioning the naan. The garlic may have been one of the best garlic naans I've had - flavorful garlic flavor with so many actual garlic pieces adhered. BUT the star of the show was absolutely the Kashmiri naan. Do not pass this up!!! Maybe the best and most unique naan overall I've ever tried. Dramatic statement but true. Overall, this was a delicious birthday dinner and we will absolutely be back for more of that Kashmiri naan :)

You have to try this place. It has the best naan I have ever eaten in the US so far…read more This place is simple low key but the food is outstanding. Must try: Naan (any kind), saag bhartha, malai kofta, masala lassi. Something to know: they have on-site parking behind their building. It's a small and bit tight parking so be careful while entering and exiting. Service is always good and food comes out in reasonable time. Prices have definitely gone quite up since after covid. But the good food makes it worth.

I have been to Bridges several times since my initial review, and only love it more each time. Upon…read moremy most recent visit, I tried some of their new menu items: goat curry, flatbread, and milky chai. Boy am I glad I did as they are now my favorites! The goat curry had insane flavor and is a great discovery as we move into cooler weather. The flatbread was warm and soft and paired well with the curry. The milky chai looks like a Nepali chai Frappuccino. I already prefer Nepali Chai to regular chai as it is less sweet and has a bolder flavor profile. It was honestly perfect in this drinkable dessert form. I was nervous. It would be too sweet, but it had a great balance as always the staff was friendly.

We ordered takeout from Bridges after hearing good things and it met our high expectations!! Yum…read more Even in takeout form (not as warm and in styrofoam) it was still delicious. My partner and I shared the veg momos. Was not expecting them to be greenish but what a beautiful color and they were sooo tasty! We loved the sauces that came with; one is sort of like a sweet and sour sauce and one is spicy . I ordered the veg chow mein which was good and had a nice portion size... I saved half for leftovers and it heated up real nicely too. My partner got the meat bowl which didn't look like much all together in the bowl but he assured me it tasted amazing and is one of his favorite things to order in the city. It was also a huge portion size but no leftovers for him I'm curious to stop into a physical location and experience the ambiance of the restaurant. If the takeout was that good, the inside experience must be even better!
