    Chicken Tikka Masala?
    Rob P.

Never again. Value is 2 out of 10. 3 small pieces of chicken in a $15 meal is sad. Flavor is 5 out of 10. I will not order from this place again. I should never have to leave a 1 star review yet here we are. Disappointing

Kitchen table set with amazing Hamro food!

Leaving another review! We invited some friends over and told them how amazing the food was- so we ordered enough to share. Once it arrived, we set the table with all the delicious food. We got Chicken Tikka, Butter Chicken, Saag paneer, Chicken Biryani, chicken momo, garlic naan and Samosas. Thank you for another wonderful dinner.

We came with a party of 10 because this place was heavily recommended by our co-workers. We shared the vegetable and chicken momos (dumplings) and I had the chicken chowmein. Full points to the chicken momos. The vegetable one was good too, but I'd pick the chicken one. The chowmein was amazing and the touch with lime was something I enjoyed. Again, I'd recommend the chicken chowmein over the vegetarian one because the chicken tasted better than the soya chunks. A couple of my friends tried the indian food, but they weren't very impressed. However, they did praise the garlic naan. The Nepali tea was really, really good too.

My husband and I had dinner here this evening and thought it was great! We found it by looking up Indian food (we were craving it) near Sharonville Convention Center, where we were for an expo. It came up in a list of top 10 places for Indian food and was only 3 miles away. It's tucked away in a little strip mall. It seems like a really small place but there's another room to the side, though a curtain. We ordered a Samosa appetizer. My husband ordered Goat Curry and a Mango Lassi. I ordered a water and the Chilli Chicken. We were given a spice level of 1-10. My husband chose a 10 and I chose a 5 level of spice. The mango lassi has a strong mango flavor and my husband liked it a lot. I tried it also and found it to have great flavor. The samosas were delicious! Perfectly fried, with a crispy outside and soft and slightly spicy inside. My husband declared them his favorite samosas that he's ever had. I agree. He also thought the goat curry was awesome. I tasted some of his dish and it was delish. The goat was tender and the sauce was rich and flavorful. My chilli chicken was fantastic! It's small pieces of white meat chicken in spices with onions and green peppers. Both dishes were served with rice. I couldn't finish all of my dish but I made sure to get a box so that I can have the leftovers for lunch tomorrow. The service was very friendly and quick. Also, the owners are such nice people. We'll definitely stop in again to try out more of their menu.

Honestly this place was a great find! We were trying to find an Indian restaurant open during lunch (since apparently many of them were closed during lunch) and happened to stumble upon this place! The samosas were warm, crispy, & filling! Probably some the best samosas I've had! And I had the tarka daal which was super creamy (tasted like they used coconut milk) and delicious. The flavorful garlic naan & the basmati rice really paired well with everything! I even had leftovers for dinner. It's a cute place & I would definitely come there again to try something else! My only suggestion is to maybe expand the menu a bit more but other than that I loved my food & our waitress was very kind!

    Just the vibe.

We had two different chicken dishes. The saag and the tikka masala. We also had a dish of yellow lentils, and the chai-like tea. Each dish had amazing flavors that you can't get anywhere else. We loved our first visit and will come back for more.

The food did not have any flavor or spice. The naan was dense and did not taste good. Would not recommend for the price.

Nobody was here (6pm on Saturday), which should have told me to not go, but I starving. It's in the back of a grocery. It was super dirty inside. The floors, walls, just everything was dirty and dingy. My hunger made me think "maybe this will be a surprisingly good hole-in-the-wall situation". They had no music and these two loud beeps that happened constantly. The server was sick and sneezing and sniffing. The food took forever. Plates and silverware were wet; a puddle in the plate. Portions were small. My goat was 50% bones, not meat on the bones, just bones. The rice was dry and clumpy like it was reheated in the microwave. Nan was crispy. Normally I eat very spicy food but my stomach had been weird so we asked for 5/10 and my dude was literally sweating. It said it was a tomato sauce but this was just a bland brown flavor with cilantro. We couldn't eat but 2 bites. Paid full price and left. Luckily she didn't ask how it was because I was prepared to be honest. I think she knew. I didn't know it could get so bad. How are they open? My new low standard will be "well at least it's not as bad as the Indian restaurant in Fairfield!"

Large stuffed dumplings, dishes with layers of flavor and spice (but not heat, per my request). Attentive, friendly, service, and culinary options that are (were at that time at least?) rare to find in the region. Meeting my mentor here for a meal was such a pleasant surprise, this small strip mall location delivering some seriously great food. We each ordered appetizers, and multiple dishes, and between the two of us we didn't have a bad bite. Now, I can't remember exactly what we ordered.... but I'm more than willing to go try a few new things next time.

The food was DELICIOUS- I got the chana masala, garlic naan, and a mango lassi, all of which were some of the best I've ever had, and my dining companion got the chicken chow mein, which they loved and said was elevated by the two types of onions used and the lime on top. We both are wusses and only got the spice level of two- I personally would go up to a three or four next time, and my dining partner said that they would stay at a two (their spice tolerance is lower than mine). With tip, we paid around $42, which we felt was very reasonable for the amount and quality of the food. The restaurant was very empty on for a Saturday night- when we walked in around 6:00 PM, there was a couple that was packing up to leave, and a few delivery drivers came in to collect orders, but for the most part, it was just us, which needs to be rectified, as Hot N Spicy Restaurant and Bar is truly fantastic. The only thing we could think of was that the location wasn't optimal for attracting attention from potential customers passing by (it's in a strip mall, sandwiched between a Goodwill and a Habitat for Humanity ReStore), and people just don't know it's there? Overall, we can't wait to come back, and we're excited to tell all of our family and friends about this hidden gem so that they'll come try it too!

I came in during dinner hours and ordered chicken korma with garlic naan bread. Red flag: the korma wasn't orange like I was used to seeing from places that do it MUCH better, but I kept an open mind anyways. Gave it a try and my suspicion was confirmed, it was really bland. They also didn't trim some of the sinew, so I got some of that in there. The bread was probably the highlight of the meal, but even still, pretty bland and a lot more toasted than I've seen it normally be. I haven't tried any of their other options or been there during buffet hours, but I figure that if the food is that bland when it's fresh, it's probably not much better during buffet hours. The people there were very nice and the establishment looked interesting, but it's a shame that the food didn't hold up; needless to say, I won't be coming back unless they improve their seasoning... I can get much better food for a little over half the price elsewhere
