Quick and Delicious Indian food. Been to Adeep so many times during college and revisit again after return to Cincinnati to visit family and friends. Service is quick, we order take-out and it takes about 15mins to get the food ready. Restaurant looks the same, you have options to dine it with a few tables available. I love their lamb saag and it is my to-go-food. Lamb Saag - 4/5 It comes with garlic naan and rice. Saag is very creamy with big chunk of lamb cube. We loveeee aDeep India. The best Sunday evening take out dinner. We always get the saag chhole and paneer chili spice level 6/6. It gets hot but we love the heat. I think the leftovers next day get even spicier! Garlic naan and hot n spicy naan are our favorites. Okay, Adeep, I see you! A student recently brought something tasty-smelling to class and my policy is you can eat in class but I might ask for a bite. The student consented and WOW, I knew I had to visit this place. The goat curry here is phenomenal. Truly delicious. Nice and tender, beautifully seasoned, and with spice levels that match the number you give (ever said 3 and could wear they gave you a 10?!). The only reason this place gets a 4 and not a 5 is because the last time I ordered the goat I got an inordinate amount of bones in my serving. Seriously half of the non-sauce matter in my curry was just bones. I can only presume that because the goat is cooked to be so tender that it's literally falling off the bones in the pot. But still, you can tell when you're serving a big ladle of bones and not actual meat. I'll still go back, I just won't leave without checking my order from here on out. read more

Natural tasting sauces for dipping with appetizers like samosa, and super flavorful curry and masala make Adeep a must visit. Easily a 9/10 spot in the Cincy area for Indian if you are in the mood. Located right in the heart of the UC Campus, it's a short trip from northern Kentucky or one of the surrounding suburbs. I have tried the chicken curry before and it was excellent, but I am a tikka masala guy through and through and they do NOT disappoint. Rich, creamy masala along with tender pulled chicken make it an amazing experience for anyone into really quality tikka. Not alone are the dishes amazing, but the naan is to die for. With a perfect combination of doughy and crispy you have to try a side of garlic naan with your dish - you'll be glad you did. This is now my GO TO spot for Indian food in Cincinnati. I stopped in on Tuesday to pick up the food I ordered. It was ready in like 15 minutes. This place doesn't have a great dine-in option and the weird AC thing makes the temperature indoors pretty hot. But the food is DA BOMB! I ordered Shahi Paneer for myself and my friend had the chicken tikka masala. We split the garlic naan. And it was sinfully good. Being an Indian, i know that the food is not authentic and the cream is so unhealthy, but Adeep India are for days when you want the tongue to win. And win royally! I was first introduced to Adeep India when my husband ordered it a couple of years ago. It was delivered through DoorDash and it was delicious. I was a bit surprised Indian delivery would be so good (I'm just used to either getting takeout or dining in). Anytime we order, our food is consistently good. Adeep is one of our top choices for dinner out, despite a 30 minute drive for takeout and being much closer to several other Indian restaurants. While their basics like garlic naan and chicken tikka masala are excellent, I love the salty vegetables in the chicken tikka; I'm not sure how it's made but they almost seem pickled to me and I crave the dish. Our food is always perfect and spiced as it should be. We once had to wait a few extra minutes due to a kitchen issue and they threw in desserts and sides to try to make up for it. It's the same chef from Krishna Carryout who started his own restaurant around ~2009. Yet another one of the few Indian restaurants close to UC. I'm not one to just hand off good reviews to restaurants easily, but any restaurant that makes tasty food, and at reasonable prices is one I will happily give 4-5 stars too. Like some of the hole in the wall restaurants close to UC, facilities are meh and rundown, but who cares? As long as there are no major health hazards and as long as the food is good, that's all I really care about. And you gotta admit the atmosphere does kind of give you the urban city vibes which I haven't experienced a lot myself having spent most of my life in suburban environments far away from any kind of urban environment to begin with. Now for the food I've tried: I've been mostly leaning towards the lamb/goat dishes dishes but the lamb and goat in their dishes always come out tender and these people really know how to spice up their food to make your mouth happy which is a sign of a real Indian chef at work. (no I don't consider myself an expert on Indian food) All in all, another one of those restaurants I am always happy to eat at and support since it's food made with love and from the heart and is something that would make any student like myself happy while in school. read more

Ended up sitting and waiting in restaurant for at least 15 mins after arriving). The food spice levels seemed wrong. The dish I ordered medium came out hot. The dish I ordered medium-spicy was more like medium (less hot than the other dish by far). Also note, I can handle spice! The food itself was fine. Some of you may be looking for gourmet Indian food, where they bury a young goat in a dirt pit with flaming coals, twelve hens, fifty eggs, and a boatload of spices and Biryani rice. This is not your place. Adeep India is where you go for cheap, inebriated Indian food staples that remind you of the Indian grandmama that you never had. To many in the Clifton area, Adeep India is the closest they get to being back in the streets of Bombay. I am not Indian so I haven't the slightest idea what they're on about - but I will tell you that the Vegetable Korma and the Saag Paneer are consistently head and shoulders above every other Indian joint in Cincinnati. (Plus I had doordash credit from ALLLLL their screw ups.) Ordered appetizers, entrees, and sides for a family of 4. With tip, $72. Every part was delicious. My favorite place for Indian, I get the Special Chicken Tika Masala! Their garlic naan bread is awesome and HUGE. This serving is enough for two meals which makes me feel a little bit better about spending $16 for it. My only complaint is you can see all the employees handling the food behind the counter with their bare hands. I saw them touching the naan bread both before and after cooking with no gloves... This is one of the best Indian food in USA. Here are some pros and cons to ensure you get same experience as we did. 1) This is a north Indian specialty food joint. So try to order Paneer Saag, Chicken Saag etc. 2) This is not a dine-in restaurant, more of carry out. If you are looking for great ambiance, beer etc - This is not the place. If you want good food like Indian Dhaba - Go for it. Order some Garlic Nans with Saag or any North Indian delicacy. 3) Food takes 20-25 mins as it is made fresh. We'd had bad experiences with Adeep India's delivery before but recently moved, so we decided to give it another try. I wish we hadn't. Yelp estimated delivery within 45 to 60 minutes. We called the restaurant after 90 minutes and were told the driver was on his way. It took more than 2 hours for the food to arrive. We live less than 1 mile away and ordered 1 entree. The driver told us he'd been driving with the bag in his car for at least 20 minutes. The food was lukewarm. We called the restaurant. After much discussion, we were finally promised a refund -- but it's been 5 days and no refund. read more

***YELP DELIVERY REVIEW*** 5 star food. 5 stars that they're one of the few places that deliver to OTR. 2 star wait time. PRO TIP: If you are starting to get hungry - order food (and this is not a joke) 2 hours in advance either via yelp app, or phone. I followed other yelp reviewers advice and ordered delivery around 5:00pm and it did not arrive until a phone call to follow up, and at 7:10pm. Had I been starving and ordered at 7:00pm I would have been pissed if it didn't show up until after 9:00. And they don't warn you of this, they quote around 40 mins. We got an app. Chicken Tikka, and two orders of naan to meet the $18 minimum. There is no delivery fee which is awesome! Other Indian spots are running at $25 minimum AND a $5 delivery fee. So if we are weighing things here, yes the delivery time sucks - but the food is freaking OUTSTANDING and the price is a steal. The Chicken Tikka we ordered was a level 4/5 and it was actually spicy and to my liking. Usually I ask for a 4/5 and they think I'm joking, it arrives and it's not spicy. I've only ever done pick up or delivery. I figured I've ordered over a dozen times with stellar service and food that is let you all know that this is the best and most consistent spot to grab Indian food in the city. Every time, the food has been fresh, hot, and HOT when I ask for extra spicy. I once had to wait an hour and a half and had low expectations for the food- it was absolutely amazing and like they made it with love and attention.
