The ladies working there couldn't have been kinder and even provided a big to-go cup of water to a gentleman was working on his car that had broken down in the parking lot on this super hot day. I tasted one small piece of our friend's Tandoori Chicken. This was after she packed leftovers for her daughter. The piece I tried was small, tender and had a strong flavor of some type of sauce. I think generally the Tandoori Chicken was dry (meaning not wet), but there had to be some sauce on the plate. Bottom line... for us, Ambar India Restaurant provided typical Indian cuisine. And though the staff were super attentive, we found ourselves confused. The food is good and if you live in the area it's a good spot for Indian, though there are many options in the area. We hadn't been in decades. Our most recent visit won't bring us back... mostly because there are so many Indian options in the city. Ambar isn't one we'll need to come back to. Sorry, no pics.
