Chicken Tikka Masala and Garlic Naan
    Emma S.

Delicious. Huge portions. Please look at that box of rice- it is FILLED. So if you feel like $20 is too much for an entree and naan, just know you've got two portions. I ordered online while on campus, walked 12 minutes and waited maybe two minutes before it was ready for me. I got spice level of 2 because I don't like really spicy but I'm also not trying to be level 1 spice . It was perfect, I could taste the spice and still enjoy the food. You can order and eat inside the shop, there are four booths. But this is a primarily takeout/delivery restaurant.

I hesitated when writing this review mainly because of the date and time that we ordered, but I felt like I needed to put it out there nonetheless. After seeing many good reviews about Krishna I was really excited to try it and add it to my list of good local Indian restaurants in the Cincy area. However, after a really disappointing meal I will likely be crossing it off my list of places that I frequent. I wanted this review to be taken with a grain of salt as I alluded to in the first paragraph. My girlfriend and I ordered our meal later in the evening on January 1st, 2023 and I know it sucks working on a holiday but if you're going to be open you should still be putting effort into the food. I got a vegetable samosa appetizer that I felt was very good comparative to others I have had and the tamarind sauce was also excellent. My girlfriend ordered chx curry (not pictured) and I ordered chx tikka masala (pictured). Our dishes were both VERY watered down. We had trouble telling the two dishes apart and by the pink coloring on some of the pulled chx in my tikka masala I assume they also added food coloring. Lack of flavor was an issue with both and we really did not enjoy the fact of how liquidy the sauce was - it was clear that water was added as a filler. We also ordered two sides of garlic naan that were extremely underwhelming. I don't consider us food snobs to begin with and we typically finish all of our bread, but the naan lacked flavor and was not nearly as appetizing as I hoped for. After re-warming it the next day it seems like it was quite possibly just a plain naan. I had high hopes for Krishna and it was mentioned by a friend who is a local that said they heard good things as well, but at the end of the day our overall first experience was rather disappointing. Not sure when we will be back if at all! Giving this 2*'s because the samosas were solid!

Krishna is one of my favorite Indian restaurants in Clifton. The food is always delicious. Definitely a favorite place to go in college.

Garlic Naan and Chicken Tikka Saag spicy level 4

I am so disappointed.. that I haven't been here sooner! Seriously, I've been here four years and never stopped in. I asked my lab group where their favorite places to eat near campus and they all said here and Adeep so I decided I had to try it. $20 may seem like a lot for an entree and naan, but they literally give you so much food. There's definitely enough for two portions at least. They have spicy levels 1-6, I got a four, which was pretty good for me. I might go up one next time just to try it. They have three booths in the place, it's pretty small, best for takeout. All-in-all, I will be coming back!

A friend and I dropped in for a quick lunch a couple of weeks back. This is my go-to semi dine-in place for Indian food in Clifton. The service is quick and the location is ideal too. We ordered Saag Paneer and Chicken Tikka Masala. The price (~$10) is extremely reasonable and the portions are huge! I enjoyed the Saag Paneer a tad bit more than the Chicken one, but both were SO GOOD! Recommendations: Saag Paneer, Saag Chicken, Chicken Tikka Masala, Saag Cholay, Chicken vindaloo, Malai kofta. Avoid pulav and biryani.

    Chana masala ($10.95)
    Rachel S.

I heard there are a few vegan dishes here and learned that they are the chana masala, aloo ghobi, and a vegetable dish. Was hoping for more options beyond just the standards, but what can you do. I ordered the chana masala ($10.95) which was very flavorful and just the right spice level. Rice was bland and simple but pairs well with the chickpeas and sauce. I honestly made two meals out of it, so it has a great value!

Amazing Indian Take Out!! I had the chicken chili with Vegetable Biriyani & Garlic Naan. Spice level 4. I like spicy food & this was the perfect amount of heat. So much flavor! Would definitely recommend & will be back!

Chicken jalfrezi and garlic naan bread

Krishna has been my go to spot for Indian cuisine in Clifton for over 8 years. My order is as follows: Chicken jalfrezi (spice level 3) with garlic ma'am bread! My food is always hot, fresh and tasty! The portion size is pretty large and shareable for two. Or if you're like me, you'd save the leftovers for later - it's even better the second day! Additionally, the staff is always courteous and friendly. It amazes me how consistent Krishna has always been. Five stars Krishna, you've earned it!

Chicken Tikka Masala with Garlic Naan

This is hands down my favorite Indian food in Cincinnati. My coworkers and I have been coming here for lunch every Tuesday, and the gentlemen of Krishna already know our exact orders and quickly prepare our food to perfection. I usually get the Chicken Tikka Masala Spicy 6 with Garlic Naan and each time it hits the spot, especially on a cold rainy day. What I love most about Krishna is the flavor of the sauce, and the quantity of food you get in each meal. The sauce is more cream based than tomato. In addition, when it comes to eating my naan, I am a dunker and love how much sauce is included to do just that. For only $10 during lunch, you get a huge portion of food that leaves you in a trance similar to post-Thanksgiving dinner, but leaves you with just enough consciousness to already think about next week's fix.

They brought out the sauces/chutneys and they were cold, straight from the fridge and she was very disappointed in that. We ordered our drinks and neither one of us cared for the drinks at all. I ordered the chai tea and she ordered a manhattan. My chai tasted like milk and sugar and that is pretty much all, I was missing the spiciness of chai tea. Also a skin had formed on top of the tea as if the milk was scorched. She did not care for the manhattan at all, not really boozy and definitely not in the right glass and had a bunch of ice in it instead of none or just a single cube. On to the food. We both enjoyed our food. She ordered many items as she likes to take it home for the next day. I ordered the lamb kabob which is cooked in a Tandoor oven. I am going to say this is the single best dish I have ever had in an Indian restaurant and I would most assuredly order it again. My girlfriend said her meal was good in the restaurant and as leftovers at home as well. Our waitress did not have much of a personality and also it was clean inside but nothing spectacular.

It was busier than we expected, but it didn't affect our very attentive service. We started with a different appetizer than usual (for us), the Papadi Chat. For entrees, we happily devoured 2 saag dishes (Chicken Tikka Saag and Saag Paneer), as well as Dal Makhani. I can't write this review without mentioning the naan. The garlic may have been one of the best garlic naans I've had - flavorful garlic flavor with so many actual garlic pieces adhered. BUT the star of the show was absolutely the Kashmiri naan. Do not pass this up!!! Maybe the best and most unique naan overall I've ever tried. Dramatic statement but true. More people came in but the restaurant was pretty empty all evening. Our server, Rachel was very friendly and helpful, going over the menu and made sure our waters were filled and we had what we needed throughout the evening. I asked her opinion between two cocktails and went with her suggestion of the chai espresso martini which was delicious! We started with the sourdough bread that came with treacle and honey butter which I thought would be more remarkable, if pretty much tasted like run of the mill butter.
