Father's Day dinner picked out by my son. This place it a truly family restaurant. It looks like everyone who worked there was in the same family. The walls had pictures of India, and the tables matched the walls. The restaurant is new, and was empty when we arrived. When we left, half the tables were occupied. They did have a table reserved for us. The menu had 4 main items, but only 2 were available. It was like a verity of curry with a variety of ways to eat it. I liked having 4 types of curry, so I can taste different types. It also had different ways to eat them that I can't describe. Spectacular experience! Food: The thali served in copper tray & bowls takes you through a gauntlet of wonderful flavors. We got one of each, and my favorite curry ended up being the spicier one that came with the "Royal" thali. We were also very pleased with the samosa and the ragata patties. Then end with the gulab jamun! Service: Top-notch, attentive and very polite. Atmosphere: Another strength. Clean with wonderfully-crafted black tables and chairs Price: Nothing to complain about, considering the value of what we received. Our new favorite Indian restaurant in the area. This is Thali style, which is different than most southern Indian restaurants that serve curries over rice. Our server was knowledgeable and helpful as we ordered since it was new to us. The restaurant is beautifully ornate and provides a nice evening. Our server was so helpful in answering our questions and explaining each item we ordered. The platter let us try a variety and was more than enough food for my partner and me, plus the patties and complimentary ice cream filled us up! The puri bread was our favorite, we ordered even more. Came here because it was the closest Indian restaurant after riding the bike trails in Loveland. Now I will come here because it has the most delicious food! I have been obsessed with thali since hearing a teaching about them on Top Chef, so when this restaurant opened up, I knew I had to go. I was not disappointed. We started off with the panipuri, which was crispy and delicious. My favorite thing was the spicy, pickled mango that accompanied it- a lovely blend of spicy, sweet, and acid. Then the main event- pillowy soft bread and an array of curries and condiments. I especially loved the okra curry; it had an unbeatable depth of flavor. My daughter and I barely finished half the platter before we tapped out, so come with friends. Our server was absolutely delightful and explained everything so well. Big windows and cool black and white traditional furnishings make this place feel bright and upscale. We got the Khaman steamed spongy flour cake to start - it's lightly sweet and comes with a tangy mild spicy sauce, so good! For main we got the four curry platter to share. It was definitely enough for two. Everything is really delicious, but a bit on the spicy side - we had to get extra bread and a mango lassi to help with the heat. The mango lassi is awesome, just the right thickness and sweetness. I think for those who don't eat spicy food normally, they will likely find the dish way too spicy. May warrant a warning when ordering :) I do wish that all the dishes on the menu come with pictures. There are so many interesting dishes on the menu, we'll definitely be back to try more! read more

I have no food photos because I couldn't eat up the food faster! This is by far the BEST Indian restaurant in the greater Cincy area. The food is specific to the Gujarat region in India. Even if you aren't familiar with the various regions within India and just want a platter of various flavors and live every bite of it, this is the restaurant to go to. Our server was super sweet and made amazing recommendations based on our taste preferences. The furniture design feels very traditional and the interiors stand out as compared to a lot of other Indian restaurants. The dishes in which the food is served are also very traditional. Pricing wise, this restaurant knows what they are doing and have not set astronomical pricing on their menu. It's affordable and enjoyable. We're certainly coming back and spreading the word among all our friends. read more

This place is one of my favorite new Indian places. The first time I tried it, we ate in and the first thing that you notice when waking in is the decoration! I've been to a lot of Indian restaurants in Cincinnati and when I came in to this space, I felt like I was walking back into Rajasthan! My boyfriend ordered a swaminarayan thali and I got the paneer bhurji thali (see the photo). His is the one with more dishes and came with a potato curry, a paneer curry, dhal, and halwa. Mine came with two pav and the paneer scramble. Everything was perfectly spiced and was similar to what I had when I was in Rajasthan last October. The person serving us gave us each a small bowl of the bhel puri to try, which was *crazy* fresh, crunchy, sour, sweet... all of the things you want in a puri!! I also ordered a nimbu pani, which was very refreshing with my meal. The second time, I ordered for takeaway and got a pav bhaji thali and was so happy I almost cried. I don't know what the two bhajis were exactly, but they were both delicious. I think one was a dhal and one was veggies. Regardless, I was so happy with that and the bhel puri that I ordered! Found this restaurant while looking up new places and went for lunch on a Saturday. The space was nicely decorated and the service was exceptional. We shared the daily special which consisted of several curries, roti, rice, etc. The server explained the sauces you can add and how they affect the spice levels in the food.
