United Water Restoration came to my house on 1/12/22 and gave me a quote to clean all of my vents, took a deposit for half, then called me the next day to say they didn't quote me the correct price and it would be more than double what they originally quoted. I told them I was not longer interested and asked for a refund, which they agreed to provide. I've called them three times since then because they still have not refunded my money.

During installation, he cleaned out HVAC with hospital grade cleaner that prevents mold growth, and he installed a UV light as an extra defense against mold growth. It was a big job and took longer than we both anticipated. His crew worked past 6 pm to make sure the air ducts were completely installed so my family and I could turn the heater back on overnight. Before he left for the evening, he also cleared out our dryer vent as an extra gesture. When he came back to replace the vent plates, he asked us our preferences and comfort level to adjust the airflow in different spaces throughout our home. We appreciated that extra step very much. He also recommended that we replace our emergency drip pan as it was rusted and could cause a leak at any moment. He's even going to install a trip switch on his next visit as our unit doesn't currently have one. Overall, we had a good experience with Mateo. He's very knowledgeable, pleasant, made needed recommendations, and backed the work he did on our airducts with a five year warranty. Once we sent over our protocol to Champion, they were first to respond to the inquiry. Once pricing rolled into from all the others, Champion's pricing was right in the middle of the three which is always a good sign. A clear indication that have the right balance between approach, knowledge, and price. In the office you have Connie which was always very communicative. The business manager (forgot her name) was very nice also when she reached out to just talk before we signed our contract. The estimator Susan was very thorough over all the rest of the companies bc she by far spent the most time getting everything she needed while on the site visit to prepare the estimate. Nate and his helper tech were very thorough. The messed up on one little thing regarding our A/V equipment which I will get to in a second. The only reason I am leaving 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the main guy Wayne. By far a super nice guy but not the best when it comes to management in my opinion. Upon completion of the work, I made it happen to where they were able to pick up their equipment before the long weekend and was called to let me know final payment should be prompt. I questioned that but completed final payment as requested and was told it's normal. That said, when all the dust settled, we noticed that our elec equipment for our surround sound system in living room was not working properly. We troubleshooted it all weekend but could not get it working properly as it did before. We ended up calling the A/V company to come out and get it back to working properly and incurred a $139 additional service which we understood. I brought that to Wayne's attention and he said he will look into it which he did. He reported back that since the account is closed out thats pretty much it and Champion would not be able to cover the $139 fee we incurred. I let him know that was unfortunate. This is why I do not like paying the final bill until we have the opportunity to verify everything is in working order. At the very least they need to possibly revamp the final payment to 40% with a 10% retainer for things such as this. That $139 reimbursement could've possibly come out of the final 10% owed. Otherwise, I highly recommend Champion in your considerations for hiring.

Xander was the person in charge and he gave me an estimate and said he needed to check on another job but would send another team to take care of the removal of the vanity in my daughter's bathroom, and put the equipment, he later return to check that the growth was removed, checked with his camera, took pictures and advised to remover the rest of the sheetrock since the growth was all the way to the ceiling. Xander said he would send a proper report with all the pictures, that was on July 28th, I did not receive the report. The equipment was removed on July 31st; my boyfriend was with the team and ask again about the report, they told him they would send it once they would get to the office - nothing was sent. I texted Xander on August 8th, he said the other team should have sent the report but that he would send once he was back to the office - this is the 3rd time I've been told I would receive a report - nothing. I texted him again and sent him my email, maybe he lost it, no reply. Today August 10th, I called the company, Jared answered and he said he would send a reminder to the mitigation coordinator; it is 5 pm and I haven't received anything and I did not receive a formal invoice for the services I paid for. There is still a small smell of growth in the bathroom, I hope it goes away, but for sure, they promise things they don't do and once paid, they couldn't care less.
