Because of that, I always get 1st class service with very professional, friendly service. Today was no exception. Over the Thanksgiving Holiday we had a major ant problem due to the rains. I scheduled my visit for 1 pm and as in the past they were here right on time. Today's Technician was Noah...a very personal young man who really knows his craft. The problem was bigger than either one of us had expected, but he was all over it and had it solved within the hour. He also gave me great advice to avoid future problems. They offered a pretty good and thorough service. My house had a sudden and enormous ant infestation where they ate pet food or any single crumb on the floor and they end up in the shower, it was disgusting. So I called AAction because of the Yelp reviews and the fact that the bigger name exterminators had abysmal views. Called right before closing and some nice guy gave me the price estimate after I told him the size of the home and yard and the type of insect. My "bug guy" promptly showed up the next morning in the time frame he gave me and he sprayed the inside of the house and put gel outside in the colonies. I had no idea but there were a dozen or more colonies right outside the freaking house! I even asked the guy, horrified, if it was the worst house he had ever seen, and he responded without a blink "not even close." Only problem was, and he did warn me about this, the infestation appears to get worse before it gets better. Oh my god. There were so many ants in my bedroom (where they never were before!) you could see them milling around the carpet. Nasty, right? Well he told me to give it a week until we call again (they give a satisfaction guaranteed warranty for the first 30 days). So I called and he came back really quickly to exterminate the remaining as****e ants. They had dwindled during the week after the huge boom (he claimed stirring up the nests will make them frantically look for food, or something). Anyway, the house is now 100% ant free. My cats are happy, too, because I can put their bowls on the floor again without worrying it will become an ant banquet in 5 minutes. Thanks, AAction! After the past few days of rain, I noticed that we were getting lots of ants coming into our house. We had had this problem off and on for the past few years but never as many ants as in the past few weeks. Based on the Yelp reviews, I decided to call AAction. I called them on a Friday afternoon and was able to make an appointment for the following day on Saturday. I was given a two hour window for the arrival of the technician and James did show up as promised. I had James spray both inside and out. for He was at our house for maybe a half an hour or so. We also agreed to get the monthly service . The initial spray is guaranteed for 30 days, so hopefully this does the trick. James was very professional and explained what he was doing each step of the way. Overall I am very satisfied with the company and hope the ants are gone for good! As a quick update, I noticed a few more ants that showed up after the initial spraying. I called AAction and James showed up again to spray within a few hours of my call! This company guaranteed no bugs or ants for a month after the original spray and I am more than pleased to see they take immediate action. I like nature BUT outside the house!!!!! When ants make my floors their highway and then bite us and the dogs it's unbearable... then there's baby spider hatching season and bites from them are really no joke, its time for them to all learn that my house isn't theirs. I've used them for years and was referred to them before yelp was a thing and so this review is a bit overdue. We request Preston every time. He's so thorough and professional and explains whatever pest questions you have. He makes sure that us and our dogs are not going to encounter any dangerous spray. I hate when people go through the house and luckily he was highly recommended to me so I didn't have just anyone. We have him back every time. I used Action over a year ago when we had the small Argentine ants. Action got rid of them quickly after discovering several colonies outside our house. The ants just returned and we found them on the kitchen counter. I called Action Saturday morning at 8 and their truck was at our house by 9. We have been with AAction Pest for 10 years. The last visit - it appeared that they only were present for a short time and did not do all the property. We called to ask about it. Apparently they decided that since there was a guest house on the property, they would only do the area of the front house and now want to charge more for the rest of the property. I was so pleased that when I called in the morning they were able to send a technician out to take care of a dead animal within an hour. Josh showed up and he was extremely friendly and personable. I have a raised foundation, which makes it very difficult to get around, but Josh went under there and was persistent until he could find the problem. I was out walking the dog and I noticed in our neighborhood down the street there's a swarm of bees coming out of the drain. And I saw action pest control truck and a gentleman getting in the truck and it was Preston. I asked him if he would just take a look at the bee swarm and when he was done with his job he went over and took took a look at it. And figured out what it was. I called AA action Pest Control when I heard terrible things online about Terminix and Orkin. I'm glad I did. They scheduled something on the phone with me in 5 minutes and showed up the next day. Noah came by the house and was so professional and nice. He went above and beyond what I expected, and listen to every request I had about our pest problem.
